I can go on an on about NSB and I never wrote reviews! I started camp here when I was 6 years old and continued through teen camp until I became a councilor. It’s a great place to grow confidence, regardless if your child wants to eventually perform or not. For kids that do, I’m now a young adult living my dreams in New York City and I truly believe because of the teachers at this camp they are a huge part of how I came to be where I am now. They take good care of their people. Most of them are still around from when I was a kid, so you know you are still getting all the quality classes!! The teachers truly love helping kids grow. 10000/10 recommend.

Both of my daughters went to Next Stop Broadway from 1st grade through teen camp and on. It was their home away from home for years! I could not have asked for a better environment for them where they were safe, supported, made lifelong friends and had a blast. They developed life skills and wonderful memories from NSB.

There are no words to describe NSB!!! The CAMP, THE ACADEMY and SHOWS are ABSOLUTELY EXTRAORDINARY!!!!! It is impressive how creative and professional the productions are, and the AMAZING job they do in putting so many kids on stage in such an ASTOUNDING WAY finding the right role for each one and making sure every kid feels happy and comfortable!!! The staff is EXCEPTIONAL!!! Everyone at NSB are really SPECIAL PEOPLE!!! My daughter has enjoyed every single minute!!! They have created a VERY SPECIAL community. We are FORTUNATE to be part of it!!! We're in so much GRATITUDE!!!

Thanks for creating such a fun and engaging space for the kids. Eden loves coming to NSB and she has been able to tap into a place in herself that we had not explored prior. You guys are doing great things!

The show was fun to do and perform and I liked that we were given choreography and instruction that was good. I was a bit confused about the age group placements. In the yellow group, there was a thirteen year old, twelve year olds, and eleven years olds, and one eight year old. They were the youngest group, however the blue group had a younger child and kids the same age as the yellow group, but were supposedly older? My first day was not great but it got better. Reading other reviews, I’m a bit confused. We didn’t have an audition process and instead were “randomly” assigned lines. I say randomly in quotes because in particular, there were a few kids who received a single two word line, and other kids who were returning campers who were given solos in songs, multiple long lines, and were altogether more featured. However, it was fun. I might be a little hesitant, but I will likely come back next year.

I couldn't be more pleased with my daughter's experience at Next Stop Broadway (NSB). Their priority is to keep kids happy and safe throughout the summer and they accomplish this and much MORE. They are upfront at the onset that very few kids will receive a lead in the show, although everyone is in the show. Unlike other theater camps, it isn't all about putting on a show. The campers are given multiple opportunities to showcase their passions and talents - NSB Idol, NSB's Got Talent, weekly spirit rallies, weekly dress up days, and special vocal and dance teams. (They even help coach us parents on how to talk to our kids when they have to deal with disappointment if they do not get the role they wanted. ) The part that impressed us the most is the level of training they receive - dancing, acting and improv, costume making, theater tech, and audition prep. This is done in a supportive, encouraging, and caring environment. The feedback and guidance our daughter has received throughout the audition and training process has helped her grow exponentially in all areas. It is a large camp, which was initially concerning to us. Don't let this deter you, it is run like a well oiled machine. We have been so impressed. They are heavily staffed with trained adults and college students, who quickly get to know each child. Each class is run by a team of professionals with the assistance of an intern as well counselors and CITs who all have a passion for theater. And despite the long days they work, there has never been a time I pulled up to the theater that they weren't all smiling. The office also does a great job communicating with parents through both paper and email reminders and info. On the rare occasion we have had a concern, the office has been very receptive and responsive. It is obvious by this review that we are very pleased with the experience our daughter has had at NSB... She calls it her "Happy Place," If you have a child who loves performing, or is "thinking" about dipping their toes in the theater pool, we highly recommend NSB.

This is a FANTASTIC summer camp! What we like best about NSB is the people. The leadership team is friendly. The counselors are friendly. The campers are friendly, and the kindness your kids encounter here contagious. EVERYONE is welcome, the productions are amazing, and your kids will have fun in a great atmosphere. FIVE STARS!
