Amaazing food! The whole experience and energy is great the staff is always so friendly and kind. The food can’t get better and the prices are fair for the portion size. Always a great spot to get Jamaican food. Especially "Faith Pen Friday’s" don’t miss out you get all the traditional Jamaican food breadfruit, roast yam & salt fish, mackerel rundung, ackee & corn pork this list goes on.

We took a chance and ordered 4 meals by Uber eats to try Bak a Yaad. I am picky with my restaurants and stick to our regular Island spots. I read the reviews and decided to give it a chance. The food was delicious and plentiful, We ordered a large Jerk chicken and large fried chicken with rice and peas and vegetables . The flavor was delicious, not too spicy on jerk. The fried was great. The curry chicken was tender and nuff flavor, not spicy. The stew chicken had a great color. We will definitely order again. The chef does amazing dishes. Keep it up! Another update 8.6.23 We ordered curry goat and it wad so tender and delicious with white rice and vegetable. The goat was seasoned perfectly with the right amount of spice. We also had to order the tender oxtail with rice and peas again. This was an excellent dinner especially with ice cold red stripes to celebrate 🇯🇲 independence.

Was in the mood for some jerk chicken & visiting from out of town so I had to go by reviews… So just received my order via Ubereats, bag wasn’t sealed & I can say I’m not thrilled, my “fried” chicken looks as if it’s been sitting under heat lamps for a while meat is dry.. jerk is ok not spicy at all some flavor but not that ‘bam’ I’ve DEFINITELY had better will wait til I get back home to experience the real deal don’t get me wrong the jerk is not horrible just not the jerk I’m used to back in the A, I.e. coming off the grill full of flavor & spicy and the fact that it’s cold doesn’t help.

First time coming and the food was delicious great customer service. I will definitely come back again. The oxtail was so good and they put a great amount in the platen. I would recommend friends and family.

I tried Bak A Yaad today for the first time. I got the goat. The goat looked pink/red-ish in color in the inside. I thought nothing of it and chose to continue eating it because it tasted good. I asked my mother in law if it was cooked properly and she said it was very undercooked. Too bad I found this out after eating a plate of it. I would not wish this sickness on my worst enemy. Unfortunately I threw up all of the goat and have felt miserable for the past 2 hours. My boyfriend gets the chicken and likes it. I would recommend the chicken but do not recommend the goat.

We had a repast for 50 people and the food that we got for the price could have served 70 people. The owner Miss Shivette was very gracious to us. I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking to have a small function.
