I introduced my friend to the flaming posh roll and he became addicted to it right before the pandemic. He suffered all these months awaiting for the day we could go to Posh again after COVID and eat a flaming posh roll again. He got super excited when I told him we could sit outside. As soon as we sat, one of the guys came out to greet us and brought out a water bowl for the dogo. After stressing with trying to find a place we could eat at such a late hour AND with the dogo, this was the best greeting and completely melted my heart. Thank you for such a warm welcome back. We really love that we can come with the doggy, without the doggy, dressed down, or dressed up. Every time we go we always have a good time. Definitely recommend if you’ve never been!

Omg I’m in town visiting from New Orleans where I am a sushi LOVER!! Lemme tell you, this place gave the best sushi experience I’ve ever had! The flaming posh, Mexican roll, hurricane roll and the red dragon all left my mouth watering for more! I wanted to try every roll on the menu!! On top of that, the drinks were good and the hookah was the smoothest and delicious hookah I’ve had. They are a bit pricey but we’ll worth it! Makes me want to move here just for this place!!’ ALSO , the ambience was so relaxing and the service was top tier! Give them a visit!!!!

This is one of my new favorite hookah spots! My husband was planning a date night and took me here and I’m obsessed! The environment is very zen and laid back. This lounge has sushi which is also AMAZING! Not to mention the hookah is very smooth and they have some good flavors to choose from. To drink I ordered the spiked blueberry lemonade. And my husband ordered strawberry henny. To eat we ordered chicken tempura rolls which were delicious! The presentation of the food was very decorative and cute! The staff is also friendly and attentive. I’ll definitely be back! ♥️

I left a review here before . It is my absolute favorite sushi place in the USA! Nothing beats a Flaming posh roll. They also set it on fire at your table. So so so good. The sushi chef here is incredible. Looks like art as well everytime. They changed service a couple months ago and it's fast and fantastic! This is a gem and on my top 5 favorite places in ft laud

WOW. The Food. The Ambiance. The Unique Rolls. Just wow! I had their signature roll (forgot what it's called, but it's the roll that's set on fire). It was delicious! One of the best sushi rolls I've ever had! That roll is a must try! Also had the salmon sashimi which was also very tasty! The bar is very well staffed with tons of options! The seating options are very comfortable which makes spending time here pleasant. The service is also very good, so overall what's not to love here? If you are reading this review that means you are considering coming here. Stop reading and go here :)

Funky little spot on the bottom of building. It’s actually located on the bottom of the Waverley condominiums. Although it’s a restaurant it doesn’t have full restaurant vibes for bit more like a lounge, they also do hookah here and there’s also a DJ in the back corner what you could easily mess spinning music. It is definitely a local spot for residence at the building. I forgot the name of the dish but they laid it on fire it was very tasty. Also the Sally was amazing. Although I’m a local to this area I rarely ever go. I’m going to have to go more. I enjoyed actually sitting at the bar with my friend. The bartenders are hilarious and outgoing. But if you’re looking to have some peace and quiet sit in the corner they have sofas as well.

It's very tucked away. But it's also very relaxing. Some how it is accommodating to groups of friends as well as accommodating to individuals that are extroverted or introverted. There's outside seating, bar seating, and lounge seating. The food I had wasn't to rave about but it was also nothing to complain about. It was simply satisfying and over a great sushi experience. I wished I had more.

Food was ok but definitely don't see a reason to return.

Thier Flaming Posh roll is out of this world, amazing!! And that's no exaggeration. They flambée it right at your table, and you wait about 3 minutes for the flames to go down before you can eat. It's a signature roll unique to this restaurant that you won't find anywhere else, and now I understand why people would drive from near and far just to eat here. We also got a Dragon Roll, and another roll (can't remember the name at the moment) but they were delicious as well! Perfect spot for a date night, it's intimate and cozy. Best sushi experience ever.

Briget was awesome. 10/10 service. She took care of my friends, and I, we will definitely be returning customers. she was busy and managed to still help everyone in the restaurant. One of my favorite new sushi 🍣 spots. Wow it did not disappoint. Highly recommend the Mexican Roll Yellowtail avocado roll with blistered serrano peppers and Sriracha. Hamachi is so much better than what I get in CT. Carlos runs the room with perfection, pouring great cocktails Found a new favorite Blue Agave Tequila Booya wow... Since you deleted, here’s a repost!!! I’ve been going to this spot for 4 years now ever since I moved to down town Fort Lauderdale. First off ever since Stephanie left this place has never been the same. The last two times I came it has been such a disappointment. I thought I give them another try, and nope failed me again. I always order the flaming posh and the four season ... So originally I was going to Uber eats but then I decided let me not be lazy and go pick it up.... When I get there it's so quiet, so I knew business not doing well, the gentleman is ringing me up and for 2 sushi rolls it is $50. I'm like hmmm something can't be right because I was just going to Uber and it would have cost be $66 with $19 delivery fee and $10 in tax. I show the gentleman on Uber the cost per roll is $18 how come it's more in the store... he try's to explain it to me that his boss increased pricing and Uber hasn't updated. Okay whatever, that sounds like horrible business but I proceed to complete my pick up order tipping $5 so now for two rolls I just spend $55 INSANE! Well I say if it's good then I won't be too upset. I get home and the sushi was probably the worst sushi lever tasted and I am a HUGE sushi lover. My roll was so soggy it was falling apart, on the flaming posh, they doused it in eel sauce my four sessions was over fried, the preparation was awful. Needless to say I am very upset and will not be returning.

They just won a regular. We ordered the flaming Posh and The Heat. Can’t decide which one was better. The service A1. Definitely coming back.

Cool lounge with good vibes. The sushi was good got the flaming sushi. The drinks weren't too bad. Customer service was decent. Gave his recommendation. Just was busy so everything took a tad bit longer. Need more staff. But will go back in the future.

Everything was absolutely mediocre. Not inviting atmosphere. Music barely playing if at all. The suhi bar/kitchen is visible but it's extremely cluttered with this and that. That's an eyesore and makes you not want to eat from the kitchen. They also have a trash can that is visible right in front of the sushi display.

We absolutely loved Sushi John! The service is amazing and we could not believe how exciting it was to see food set on fire and it was all a chemical reaction. Delicious food and everything was on time and on point. We were able to relax and laugh so much. Thank you Matthew Carlos for an ultimate experience and your joyful disposition. When we return we are looking for you.

The staff was amazingly helpful, and great patronage as well. The bartender charged my phone for me, and helped me to arrange a large "cheers" at the end of the night while she was trying to close, as I was departing Fort Lauderdale and heading home in the morning. Would come back every trip.

Okay it was an amazing experience!!! I love it! The server Carlos attention was at the best, and the music the lights, the environment makes everything better and amazing/tasty sushi! 100% recommended!

The hookah was great, as well as the personality of the server. The shrimp tempura shrimp was more like frozen fried shrimp from the grocery store and then wrapped. The wasabi was the stiffest wasabi ever. I'll recommend the drinks and the hookah.

The waiter/bartender was extremely helpful knowledgeable about the menu. Theplace look and felt really cozy and the sushi was really good. Absolutely would recommend this place.

Sushi is excellent. The staff super friendly no matter how busy or late!! True gem!! Have the Flaming Posh Roll hands down Best in South Florida.

It was a little difficult to find, however once you are in there the service is impeccable. The waitress was very knowledgeable of the menu, when they brought out the sushi, it was like we were at a live show, the presentation alone was epic. I traveled with a party of 6 and at the end we explained that we wanted to pay seperately and i kid you not, we did not have to break the bill down and explain who had what, our waitress remembered everyone's order and made no mistakes on the bill. We stayed until the DJ came around 10:30 and the music was also good.

A weird night, we came in and no one was eating there, only about 10 people smoking hooka, we thought we accidently walked into a hooka bar. Which apparently they do as well, which of course is fine but from the reviews and advertising for this restaurant, it's advertised as a nice sushi place. We got a table outside and sat down, our server said hi, dropped our menus off (which were absolutely disgusting) and went inside to talk to the other servers at the bar. Didn't come back for over 20 minutes so we got up and left. Can't say how good the food was because we never even got a chance to order. We'll try again and hopefully update this review to something more positive.

Fun atmosphere, good DJ. Nice spot for a quick bite and hookah. Go for the vibe because they were understaffed.
