Earlier review was based on our buffet experience few years ago. Maybe they should stick to self serve, because they cannot provide any service period. The lady waitresses were just loitering and wouldn't come to table even to take order. After pointing out they missed our table. Not even a bit of apology for making us wait for 45 minutes. They were not even subtle in attending to a white couple who came 15 minutes after us while ignoring us. Paying for Fine dining and not even getting wait staff attending is horrible. Food was average but overall experienced tasted very bitter.

We had a very yummy visit here. To begin with the place had a subtle and beautiful ambience. Their service was awesome and timely. The dishes were appentizingly presented, tasted flavorsome and sufficient. Their restrooms were neat & well maintained with baby changing stations.

Went in for takeout for my girlfriend. Ordered chicken vindaloo, Tikka naan, and paneer65. Bread was delicious and had pieces of chicken stuffed in it. Good food. Good atmosphere. Order was correct and packaged appropriately. Prices were what you would expect for real Indian food. Must go

We were traveling through Louisville, KY, Tandoori Fusion was something we purely chose based on previous reviews for dinner. Restaurant did not disappoint us, we thoroughly enjoyed food. We ordered Garlic/cilantro naan, Malai Kofta for curry, Ulavacharu Paneer Biryani for rice. It was absolutely delicious and one best biryanis we had in recent times. Ambiance was clean and well maintained, staff was respectful and attentive to our needs. Location has parking and easy to find. We would 100% recommended restaurant for supper. The portion size for two people.

I loved this place very much, if you are looking for the best Indian food in Louisville area, you must Visit Tandoori Fusion. Their new Chicken Mandi is some thing that should be definitely tried and you cannot find it in any other places. The staff is really excellent and pleasant.

The food was so good! This was hands down the best Indian food we have ever had! The service was amazing because the staff members were so nice and they even made the food in desi ghee because of health problems which was very considerate of them! We ordered aloo gobi, which is perfect for vegetarians because it is super tasty and healthy. And then we ordered chettined chicken which was super creamy and delicious 😋 and then we ordered butter chicken which was the best we have had ever since we have been in the USA! And then lastly we ordered mango lassi as a desert and it was 10/10. We just absolutely loved the food here and would 100% recommend coming here to eat!!

Huge menu. So many choices! Flavorful Indian cuisine. Easily could do family style to try a bunch and share. We had the non-vegetarian appetizer, goat biryani special, palak paneer, and garlic cilantro naan. Everything was great! Choose your spice level wisely. 😊🥵 They even have a robot waiter.

My first experience in eating Indian food! I felt as home, it has a robot that helps the waiters, the staff was very friendly and attentive and polite, always respectful, and I fell in love! I felt safe, because it was my first time! there were many mixes of flavors! and the experience of eating with my hands was very yummy! my favorite was the garlic naan, it's like a bread, delicious! Chicken tikka masala, I have no words to express how yummy this dish is, the mango lassi is something that leaves you speechless and shocked at how divine it is!

One of the horrible biriyani I’ve tasted... they claim they have many varieties... what they have is some rice mixed with some gravy and serve Oily salty over spicy We have ordered yesterday from DoorDash and it spoiled our Friday evening 😣 Order is in the name of my friend Poorvesh and thanks for your reply but why would one write review what would I get by writing some bad reviews... More like Tandoori Confusion. The food is decent but holy smokes... just calling to place an order ...The phone was handed to 3 different people and no one had a clue what they were doing.

We did catering from Tandoori Fusion for our House Warming Ceremony. Food was very delicious and was beyond our expectations. We ordered Gobi Karevapaku Cut Mirchi Gongura Paneer Biryani Shahi Paneer Mixed Naan Guthi vankaya curry Bindi Fry Sambar Rasmalai They have sent us a few complimentary items along with the food we ordered. Rasmalai’s taste was beyond our expectations. Every item was delicious I highly recommend to try this place. Anju guided us well as we didn’t have much idea as it was our first time to get catering from outside.

First time visit on a whim and found quite a gem. We’ve driven by Tandoori many, many times not knowing about it, but now we found out how authentic and good quality the food really is. Every aspect of our dining was excellent, from drinks, starters, and main course. Authentic Indian beer and a Theeka mojito were great. A black peppery sweet and sour soup may have become our favorite starter. Even arriving late, toward closing time, and the dishes were still very fresh and service excellent (can’t say that for all restaurants). Anju was very courteous, helpful and perfect timing. The only disappointment was that we didn’t come to Tandoori sooner. We came in to this establishment not sure what to expect and left with possibly a new favorite go-to restaurant. We look forward to our next visit.

The restaurant is very clean. The bathrooms are immaculate. The service is fantastic. The robot that delivers food is adorable! My first time seeing one in person. The vegetable samosas were delicious- flaky crust on the outside and soft potato on the inside. I had the vegetable korma and the veggies were plentiful, cooked perfectly and the korma was flavorful. Would absolutely stop again on my way through Louisville. The butter naan was yummy too. All the dishes were great.

Clean place, good service and good food. The portions were generous and the food was hot and fresh. The menu is diverse and bound to fulfill anyone’s North or South Indian food desires. The tandoori chicken was very good, the kebabs were a bit dry. The masala chicken lollipops were exceptional. The Kadai chicken was very good. The butter chicken was good and the naans were good, maybe just a bit overdone and not soft. Stay away from the cocktails....we got 2 of them and they were tasteless. The server was kind enough to refund our money since we couldn’t drink the cocktails.

Restaurant ambience is really good, be it wall paintings, large tables, cutlery, etc.. However, food taste is okay. The only thing I didn't like the most is that the restaurant member has put the credit card payment machine right on my face while paying the bill, and stood very next to me until I make the payment and add the tips. I feel this is very intimidating and kind of forced me to give extra tips though I didn't want to. Giving tips should come very naturally from the customers depending on their satisfaction level. Hope the restaurant people understand this!

This place is excellent! We came to eat not knowing exactly what to expect out of the “fusion” part, but we were very pleasantly surprised! The food is a fusion between northern and southern Indian food so it gives plenty of options to choose from. My son came late and wasn’t sure what to order as we all had our food and were already eating… he asked the waitress what she recommends because he was craving something sweet but spicy… she suggested an item that wasn’t even on the menu and he happily accepted the recommendation! This dish was a sweet curry topped with coconut flakes! He enjoyed it thoroughly and said he would definitely get it again. Also, they have a cute little robot server that brings the food to the table! I loved everything about this cute and very clean restaurant. The workers were so pleasant and friendly and extremely accommodating! I will be back! Thank you!

I met up with a friend at tandoori fusion for lunch. I have not been there before at all but my friend had. For lunch they actually do a thali. I haven't had a thali since my one trip to India. thali is an option in Indian cuisine to try multiple different items in a beautiful steel plate. At tandoori fusion they had two options of veg or non-veg thali. They also had a premium option which gave you the possibility for paneer biryani and a paneer tikka masala. Being vegetarian and loving paneer, I went for the premium option. It only took about 15 minutes but a giant steel plates filled with small bowls came out. It was warm it was delicious and it was so appetizing. We had pakora, we had a few vegetables to have with the warm naan. We had some sambhar and kadhi to have with the rice. And a beautiful option of paneer biryani. I actually couldn't finish everything so I took the Panera biryani home. This was an elegant meal for about $15. I really enjoy having a thali with my friend and being able to catch up in this atmosphere. I look forward to coming back for lunch and trying some of the other fusion options on the menu.

Greet food, awesome customer service, and best Rass malyi!!! We finish all that food and did not feel sleepy or tired! All the spices and dishes were well balanced and taste.

As a huge fan of Indian food, I could not NOT write a glowing review of this place! They catered an event at our club, and it was delicious! A great variety of food, which pleased meat eaters AND vegetarians. The spices were widely varied, and the flavors were amazing. Chicken, goat, cauliflower...whatever we tasted, we all loved. I can't believe I've lived in Louisville for 15 years, and this is the first I have eaten from them.

Visited this restaurant around 2-3 times so far. Ambience and customer service is impressive. The tandoori Thali is pretty good. I believe this is one of the few places you get a decent south Indian Thali in Louisville. This restaurant is definitely one of the good places to try out food. The tangdi chicken biryani is also a must try. This is the only restaurant that has this dish I guess, so go for it if you're a chicken person. Restaurant is clean and sanitized. If in Louisville go to this place.

I was by myself. At the beginning they were a bit cold but warmed up to me after I ordered. Mojito was ok, a bit too sweet. Peppered chicken and eggplant dishes were great. I will go back for sure. Dil, who was a male server who came around later was very friendly and good at what he was doing.

Grand buffet is anything but. Sweet dishes are too sweet 4 years later.... A sea change. This is now my favorite place to go. The taste of food is sooooo much better now. Great selection of drinks and a quite room for small meetings (might not be open currently due to Covid)

Really excellent food in a nice, upscale space. My daughter loved their take on chicken tenders (they tasted high quality to me as well) and for me, the Gobi Manchurian had a great level of spice that I found exhilarating.

I was craving Indian food & I wanted to try a restaurant I haven’t had before. Ended up here & I do not regret it. I ordered a cocktail, veggie samosas, butter chicken, & garlic naan which was about $35. Everything was delicious..10/10. Not only was my server attentive but everyone up front made me feel welcomed & well taken care of. Monica(?), the manager is very sweet. Will return.

This is a very nice establishment. The prices are fair. Be prepared to be served by a robot. Service from female server was lacking a bit IMO had to get up and ask for more water and we ran out a 2nd time. This is something that should be worked on, however, maybe it's a one-off thing due to short staffing. The male server was pleasant.

Very authentic and flavorful Indian cuisine! Everything we ate was delicious! Be aware, their spice levels are real! Even a level 2 was pretty spicy. The only odd thing was that our appetizer came out after our meal.

The food was ok. Got the chicken Tikka Naan. It is not as pictured on the website. I've included pics of what it really looks like. Also, got the lime juice drink and it was good. Egg rolls were good! Chicken palak was interesting. Lots of flavor, just different. Potato stuffed naan was also just ok.

The prices were reasonable for the generous portions served. What stood out was their flexibility in accommodating a last-minute change in my order, showcasing excellent customer service. Terrible experience with the staff and owner. I ordered my food through Postmates and I waited for more than 1 hrs and waitress keep saying my food is being prepared, after long wait owner came and said they haven’t received my order . No apologies nothing she got very bad attitude. She is not even responding to my questions just ignoring me. If they haven’t received order they could have told me when I asked about my order initially and waitress keep saying they received order and kitchen is busy. I have seen same issue with couple of other customers as well they been waiting for hrs. Dear owner( female owner ) please change your bloody attitude. Stop lying 🤥 I spoke with the female owner .

Worst customer service. Never going to visit this restaurant again. They keep you wait for hrs and hrs and they are very rude and they will never respond even though your order ready to pickup they will keep you wait.

Very poor service

I had Terrible experience with Tandoori Fusion yesterday. We usually call for reservation and they say it’s not required. Yesterday we dint call to reserve and went directly. Since we dint reserve we had to wait for 25 minutes. That’s not the issue here. After we were seated we placed our orders immediately. 2 non veg thali and one veg thali. First non veg thali came after 15 mins, veg thali came after 30 mins. For my non veg thali plate I waited 1 hour after placing order. And we were not given any refill and whichever we asked everything not available. And meanwhile 2 persons who came after us they had their same thali which we had. Also they got 3 refills after we asked for first refill and still we were waiting for ours while they are done and left. If you are unable to accommodate we should have been informed When we waited outside 25 minutes. And when we asked the reason she just mentioned that they reserved already that’s why they were given all the refills. I am just curious we waited 25 mins as we dint reserve. So does reservation means you will be reserving the food too? Whereas we have to pay for what we dint eat? And there is no proper explanation given when we asked. And we paid the full bill without actually eating!

Worst experience. When I post a review it’s only because of my bad experience with tandoori fusion yesterday. Your reply stated “ it’s not what we anticipated”?. Is that you can reply? “Food refills was based on the reservation” this was the reply given to us by the person who served us. Please check with them before responding!

Recently we ordered the Choley Bhatura trough Uber Eats, as soon as we opened the container we were shocked and extremely disappointed, we felt that we got ripped off by this restaurant. This dish dose not even come close to the dish known as Choley ( chickpeas ). It look like that they took some of the chickpeas from the can and put into a gravy. I'll never order anything from this restaurant

My husband and I have been here several times. The food has always been excellent. We chose to go here for Valentine’s dinner for a couple reasons: we love Indian food, the experience and service has always been great, and why pay exorbitant prices for mediocre food at other restaurants when you can come here and pay reasonable prices for amazing food? Try it for yourself!

All I can say is my husband and I were taken by an absolute landslide with this place. We were at Total Wines and passed by and thought we would give it a shot for a quick lunch. Our waitress was so kind and gracious, and the food was phenomenal. We agreed that it is the best Indian Cuisine in Louisville. 10/10 - give Tandoori Fusion a try! (Get the Mango Lassi!)

I tried few restaurants in Louisville and I like the food here this is the best restaurant for Indian food.

Staff was friendly, restaurant clean. All safety messures where in place. We had the vegetarian and the tandoori special thali (has meat)buffets which is served to you at your table. Initial serving was plenty even though you can request refills for one price. The food was authentic and full of flavor. North and south india cuisine. Can't wait to go back. Highly recommend.

Absolutely delicious! The chicken vindaloo had a thick sauce, rather than a thin, broth-like sauce I'm used to seeing. The samosas were generous and the naan was great (even more so considering is was curbside). I have, at long last, found my Louisville go-to Indian restaurant.

And the owner she got very bad attitude. she was behaving like we don’t give a damn about your order. no apology nothing. even 1 start is not worth.
