Restaurant owner is big time CON ARTIST! The website says one price, the menu at the restaurant says another price, then I hear the owner telling the cashier to ring it up at an even higher price. CON ARTIST! She charged me “dinner” price for a “lunch” special. And then the chicken had no flavor just tomatoes paste and brown coloring. At least the food could have tasted good. Serves me right for trying to support another black owned business. You have been warned, EAT HERE AT YOUR OWN RISK! I’m reporting this to the Better Business Bureau.

Jean's Caribbean Restaurant has the best food. I order my favorite food, then take it home; sometimes I eat there if I'm ravenous. Most of the time I order her Jerk Chicken, but the Curry Chicken is fabulous also, but a lot of the time i ask for the Jerk Chicken, which is truly so delicious, and the spiciness is always perfect. But I always ask for more spicy sauce on the side. It comes with dirty rice, cabbage salad, plantains. Since I lived in the Islands for 3 months, i fell in Love with Island food. But after eating everything in the Islands, my favorite is still "Jerk Chicken", and if you want the BEST, ORDER FROM JEAN'S CARIBBEAN RESTAURANT!! You might want to take your Fabulous Meal Home, since the dining area is tiny, but as I said before if you're ravenous enjoy it there, and you won't be sorry. If you want a small portion get the lunch size; but since it's so delicious I always get the Dinner portion so it lasts a day or more for me to Enjoy! Try it, you will fail in Love with Jean's Caribbean Food. I've been ordering from Jean's Caribbean Restaurant for years and felt it was time that I stopped keeping it ALL to myself. So, please Enjoy! But, please leave me some to still Enjoy too. Remember to ask for the Lunch size or the Dinner size portion, which is so large you might have leftovers for the next day. No matter what size you order, Jean makes everything, so you will never be disappointed with any of the food. Also, she has all of the Sodas of the Islands and the Beers too. And her Desserts are good too. I will always eat the Jamaican Food from Jean's Restaurant because she is so original. The larger Jamaican Restaurants just aren't the same to me. Jean's Restaurant to me is perfect, just like in the Islands. Just go there and order what you want. Jean is great, the food is great too. Please Enjoy!!!

This was a waste of time and money i wish i could get back. The owner is definitely not a honest business man. He has one price posted but it was literally 14$ for lunch. He claimed he thought he heard me say medium. Then the food was not good the rice wasn’t cooked fully it was still hard in some parts. The presentation was horrible. It was just thrown into the box pretty much. The plantain was hidden under all the food. The jerk pork was 90% big bones in my plate. I really was so mortified when i opened the box but when i tasted the food i was near tears. HORRIBLE REVIEW WISH I COULD LEAVE ZERO STARS. They thought it was so funny tricking me with the price. I hope my review saves another person. The good reviews must be family

I took my visiting niece here for her first ever experience with Jamaican food. She is ruined: no where ever will be able to taste Jamaican as good as this. A real gem. Friendly, homemade, the best!

The patties were really tasty and the jerk chicken was sooo good. It was way better than some the Goldens and the Dutch’s out there. I can’t wait to try the other menu items. You can really taste the love and pride in the food. They know what they’re doing. This is the kind of small business that deserves the community’s support.

If I could give this restaurant 0 starts I would. I felt like supporting a small business today and went in for an oxtail plate. The first suspect thing that occurred is she served my food in the back not in front of me and didn’t even show it to me before she closed it up she brought it back to the front in Saran wrap. I opened my food and let her know that the food didn’t have taste it was very nasty and it tasted burnt literally like the bottom of the pot. I asked her if it was okay to get a refund she said no so I asked her to at least change the meal for me to something different since the oxtails are burnt. She stated that she can only give me a piece of jerk chicken. I declined the offer and informed her that I would leave this review spent $20 on a plate of food I couldn’t even eat smh not even the rice salad or plaintains were good

I really can’t believe that I ordered food from this restaurant after I seen the portion I got. 80% rice, 10 percent steam vegetables and 6 Percent gravy. 4 percent meat and bone. Lol this is really a big disrespect for what you’ll pay.

Worst food on the planet!!! Went there on my lunch break hoping to find something to eat. Food was burned, I was not able to eat anything from the plate 😡 straight to the garbage. 😡salty, uncooked, food has a strong odor😫 no taste just terrible 💀💀 I ignored the comments and went there to support the business💀 terrible food terrible food. Service is slow too 💀 not good at all.They need to hire a good cook

My husband bought our dinner here tonight and it was delicious. From the service he said was exceptional and I must say it was a lot of food. Definitely going back!

Jean's is the real deal. I always gets her jerk chicken with extra oxtail gravy and beef patties. Always fantastic. I don't say this lightly, but its the best I've had around here. The owner is a sweet lady just making delicious food from her own family recipes.

The best and most authentic Jamaican restaurant in the area. I love the jerk chicken, oxtail and chicken stew. I've been coming here for years! Jean is the best! Must try.
