You must need to be a millionaire to be a patient here. The Dr's seem great. Surgery was agreed on and scheduled. I got a letter asking for prepayment for Dr's, then another for 6800 for surgery. The 6800 came 12 days before the operation. There was no breakdown for what the money was for, and no one could tell me. I had no choice but to cancel, I dont have that kind of money and I wasn't going to take a loan. There should be some serious financial counseling going on.

I have been seeing Dr. Griffin occasionally for knee pain over the last 3 years. He has always provided excellent care and takes the time to ensure all my questions are answered and that I understand all treatment options. When I started with Dr. Griffin I was severely obese. He was the first medical professional I had interacted with in my adult life who did not treat me differently because of my weight. He was honest that my weight wasn’t helping the issue, but put me at ease assuring me that my knee problems were not my fault despite my weight (I have underlying hereditary issues) and offered several treatment options besides the dreaded “eat less and take a walk” I typically got from every other doctor regardless of what I was being treated for. When I expressed an interest in help losing weight, he offered actual help and suggestions. Now, 2 years later (since my last appointment), I went back because my knee pain had flared up, but I am no longer obese. While he congratulated me on my accomplishment, he did not treat me any differently at 184 lbs than he did at 320+ lbs.

Ellis & Badenhausen is the only place I’d go for my Orthopaedic needs! I see Dr.Popham, and every time I see him for my knees, he gets them feeling 100 percent better and pain free! He is kind, caring, and explains things so I understand them. The staff is awesome! From the phone, front desk and technicians, this is the only doctor I really enjoy having to go to, I highly recommend them!

Very efficient office. The staff members were very friendly and thorough. I was moved through quickly and there was no wait time at all. Dr. Price was great, answered my questions and talked with me, explaining and showing me the X-rays. Very satisfied with the entire process. Highly recommend this team!

Ellis and Badenhausen got me in for an appointment with Dr. Smith the day after I was released from the hospital with a broken ankle. Dr. Smith was wonderful and surprised me by not recommending foot surgery, saying my ankle would probably heal just as quickly without nuts and bolts. It’s exactly what I wanted to hear but it caught me off guard as I sometimes feel surgery is the default approach rather than let nature take its course. He spent a lot of time answering questions and calming any worries I had. I highly recommend Dr. Smith and Ellis & Badenhausen.

Dr Rhea is top notch for patient care and orthopedic knowledge. He performed an external fixator surgery on my leg with precise technique and successful outcome. My follow up care has been exceptional.

I saw Jennifer during my ff up with Dr. Nawab. She is pleasant and made me feel at ease. She showed me what happened during my surgery and that made me feel relieved that this time my pain will ease. Great person.

Krista is the best therapist. She is highly professional and knowledgeable yet kind and caring. I will keep doing what she has taught me for the rest of my life. It works!!!

Just the best. Dr. Smith has been mine and my husband's orthopedic doctor for 15 years. So compassion and knowledgeable. Never in a rush. Not only is Dr. SMITH the best orthopedic surgeon, he is also just a good person who cares. He is like family to us! His bedside manner is like no other. He held my hand going into surgery for a torn rotator cuff and clavicle separation. Who does that? No one but Dr. SMITH! We have referred many family and friends to him and all just adore him. Surgeries have all been very successful with quick recovery because they were done by the best surgeon!

Great! She explained everything! Very positive! She made me feel very comfortable. This is my second knee replacement. I also really liked Dr. Griffin as well. My right knee feels so normal can't wait to have left one done.

Dr.Price did an outstanding job of giving me peace of mind the day of surgery. He has been very easy to talk to and get very accurate information on what to expect through the whole process. Highly recommend him if you have knee and joint pain.

I highly recommend Dr. Nawab and the entire treatment team here. I had a meniscectomy and a wonderful experience with everyone I interacted with from start to finish. I worked with Drew for a physical therapy and had a fantastic experience as well. All staff were friendly, knowledgeable, approachable and helpful. Experience at the surgery center was great too. Feeling much better, and would recommend them for anyone with orthopedic issues!

Excellent care, excellent facility. I left an earlier review on the medical side. This one is for the Physical Therapy side. I have seen Niki, Tiffany, Hunter and Drew. All are excellent. Professional, knowledgeable and just wonderful to work with. Earlier this week, I had a blade massage for soft tissue that has been bothering me around my hip replacement. Not sure how that works but it was incredibly helpful! It is amazing to me how well the physical therapists know exactly what is going on and exactly where to target the therapy. Grateful that these people are here to help and grateful that they are so good at what they do!

I am a nurse! So my expectations are always different being in the medical field. Dr Price’s staff greeted me with the most professional kind welcome I’ve ever had. I was a person not a number!! Dr. Price well I have been given the run around over my hip the last year. Fearful of same results I kept my appointment. I was so happy with the care. We discussed current state diagnostic testing that had been completed and what the results showed. We together discussed and developed a care plan and the need for further diagnostic testing and a follow up once that testing is complete. I was being taken to Nicole who has been so professional and quickly scheduled my diagnostic testing she ensured I had the date and time and gave me her business card with her direct extension in case I had needs. I was in an out in less than 45 minutes and received the best care I could have received. I did not feel pushed, rushed or made to be a number. My husband and I were welcomed the entire visit, thank you Dr. Price and staff for putting my faith back in the medical system as I have long felt it lost its way and people became numbers instead of patients.. I pray he is able to keep this tremendously professional staff to future treat the folks at the commonwealth. May God bless each of you.

Dr. Popham was very nice, informative and professional. I received actual treatment (both diagnostic and for my pain, including x-rays and a cortisone shot) at my first visit (as opposed to merely doing an intake, having to go elsewhere for x-rays and/or to come back again to get treatment). I had a wonderful patient experience & would highly recommend this medical provider!

Not enough stars! Dr Smith is TOP NOTCH by any standards. His skill level is far and above, and I would recommend him to anyone. He did a complete left shoulder reversal on me, will be 3 weeks tomorrow. The incision he made is perfect enough to take pictures of and publish. Wouldn’t consider anyone else.

Have been working with Emmy and Rachel after a fairly serious knee surgery. Both therapist are knowledgeable and pleasant to work with. They are professional and treat you with respect. They have your best interest in mind. Reception staff are always welcoming and helpful when scheduling.

My physical therapist Emmy was absolutely the greatest!!! She had super energy which I feel is essential to any type of physical recovery. Although she is small in stature, it is guaranteed that you leave feeling extremely "worked out". I called her a "mad scientist" because of her enthusiasm and sheer brilliance in her field.  She will be very much missed as she is embarking on other opportunities. Thanks and good luck Emmy!!!

Dr. Matthew Price was an amazing surgeon very Knowledgeable, sensitive, informative… I immediately felt at ease – and felt confident him replacing my hip Staff was great, too. Walked away, very impressed with the overall experience. HIGHLY recommend.

The sports clinic was amazing. It was so efficient. The doctor was very thorough and made sure we knew what the action plan was for a quick recovery. I would 100% recommend it to anyone.

Staff is very polite, efficient and quick. Dr. Popham is awesome. He listens, explains well and is very gentle with procedures. He is knowledgeable and very personable. I highly recommend him. He really is all one would hope to have in a doctor. I feel really fortunate to have him as a physician. It is rare to find a surgeon with excellent skill and a great bedside manner!

Review of Dr. Matthew Price I wouldn't advise anyone to see this Doctor. He's not very friendly and rushed through my appointment. At one point he was rude and asked how I ended up scheduled with him. I told him I called and his staff referred me to him. He then proceeded to tell me if he treated everyone with a tear over the age of 40 he would be there all day. He was very nasty and I left bawling my eyes out. I just wanted help. I'll never go back.

Dr. Smith is wonderful. He listens with his mind and his heart for what I'm going through. Fixed me right up! Hubby is going to see him for an elbow concern soon. Can't wait for Dr. Smith to help him too. Great Doc and kind staff too. Thumbs up!

The therapy that I have received has been top notch. The trainer really cares about her job and helping me recover from knee surgery. They have been really good about scheduling my sessions when it is convenient for me. I would highly recommend Krista Shake as a physical therapist to anyone.

I had an anterior hip replacement with Ellis and Badenhausen’s Dr. Griffin on May 3, 2022, and it was, believe it or not, a wonderful experience. I had a posterior replacement about ten years ago in another city, and what a difference in procedures and doctors. Dr. Griffin is a great doctor. The procedure went smoothly, and the scar, after only a few months, is very light. Dr. Griffin prepared me for the operation, and he was very helpful during the recovery. The PT at E and B is also terrific. Darrell and Dan worked with me. After three months, I can resume swimming, yoga, weight lifting, and walking. I am grateful, and I would highly recommend Ellis and Badenhausen and Dr. Griffin. The staff were also very knowledgeable and friendly. Exceptional care, particularly under these COVID circumstances. Dr. Smith is a excellent doctor. He is very knowledgeable, listens to your concerns and explains everything that is asked. Very patient and does not try and rush out of the room. Love the staff also. Everyone is great!!

The office staff and Dr Price are kind, prompt and efficient. This was my 2nd appointment for an ultrasound guided steroid shot in my hip. The first shot worked great, no bruising, very effective. Second visit, it was much more painful, done in about 2 minutes and did not work. While it was great to be in and out of the office within 15 minutes, I would have preferred more time with the procedure. One week later still healing from the bruise and limping as before.

Dr Popham repaired my knee years ago so when my other knee became painful I saw him again . He is very personable and explains things well. I feel confident that he will replace my knee successfully and I will be able to return to my life in short order. He seems very qualified and positive. His office is very busy leaving patients to wait a while sometimes but he is worth the wait

I have only had a couple of experiences with physical therapy in my life so I don’t have a lot to draw from. I can say that my experience with both Drew and Emily has been absolutely positive. They are both very attentive and address all of my concerns and questions while pushing me just enough to speed my recovery. Drew is my primary dude and I would say he’s a world class Therapist. Can’t imagine a better situation for my surgery recovery. So glad I chose this E&B!
