One of our best date nights! The service was fantastic and the food was excellent. I love being able to try a variety of foods at a restaurant and The Melting Pot is probably the best restaurant to get to do that. We had the Big Night Out and it included everything needed to get the full Melting Pot experience; cheese fondue, salads, a large variety of meats, vegetables and sauces and finally a chocolate fondue. We had no trouble getting any of the foods cooked to our liking... really the only negative was trying to find room in our stomachs for it all... but we managed! This place is already on my list to go back to, I wish I would have tried it sooner.

We do fondue at home but have never gone out to dinner to do that. We were a family of 5 (2 adults, 3 children.) The service was great and we absolutely loved the experience. Although I might understand the price, the bill being so high at the end may be the only reason we wouldn't go again. It's pretty expensive. But don't regret going and the kids really enjoyed it.

I've never been to a fondue restaurant before. It was such a great experience!!! Devin was an amazing waiter!!! It was one of the neatest things I've ever done. Absolutely loved everything that I ordered!

My fiancé and I have been to this location twice now. Both times the food has been delicious (you will NEVER leave here hungry!) and the service has been impeccable. All of the waiters and waitresses are super kind, attentive and helpful; they let you savour your fondue experience and put your next pot and foods out in a timely manner and to your eating pace! When we announced our recent engagement to our waitress, she went out of her way to illustrate a plate with various dyed white chocolate, with a scene of a forest, hearts and two rings! We were really touched by this gesture and she had already been such a sweet server already! We highly recommend the Bourbon Bacon Cheddar Cheese Fondue as an appetizer, and the S’mores dessert fondue is to die for at the end of your meal. We highly recommend this restaurant for your next delectable fondue experience! The best time to go is in the winter, but it is arguably just as good in the summer!

Would rather give it 10/5 quite honestly one of the absolute BEST dining experiences I've ever had. I took my girlfriend for our anniversary and they brought out a plate with happy anniversary in raspberry sauce it was absolutely adorable, they do other requests like roses on the table etc. Was kinda put off by cooking the food at first but honestly the time makes for good conversations and an amazing time. The waitress was extremely friendly and constantly checked on us made sure we were enjoying the food the dessert is to die for also I would highly recommend this to anyone who wants a unique experience. Price wise we only paid $90 for the two of us but for what we got it was absolutely worth it.

Update from my last post. 4 stars only because of my previous experience. My wife and I were invited back and treated to a 4 coarse. (Thanks to Mike!) Tonight (our anniversary), I took the opportunity to see what it's all about. I had reserved a table 2 weeks ago. Everything went to plan. Our waitress was great, and the service was great as well. It's definitely worth trying a little different from the foods I use to. Overall, I am satisfied. My wife really enjoyed herself as well. Now I'll have to come back and try the other options.

This was my first time to melting pot. We went for a bday occasion and I didn’t really know what to expect. I will say that the concept is interesting, but not to warrant such high prices. Our bread was stale but alpine cheese fondue was very good. The menu however is confusing, perhaps intentionally but I do feel bad for a server who has to endlessly explain the menu and the whole experience. Our meats were of good quality but not much quantity. They don’t do any cake for a bday, probably as most customers were celebrating an occasion in the restaurant, so I figure it would add up quickly. Since you are cooking your own food at the restaurant, I am not sure why you wouldn’t be able to do the same at home with quality ingredients, but they do have a following and an experience that is unlike any other.

We have eaten at the Melting Pot more times than I can count, including getting dessert to go. This evening we ordered dessert to go and when we got home we noticed we weren’t given the right thing. I called up to the restaurant and actually had to call 5 times to get someone to answer. Once I spoke with someone and let them know my issue (we did not receive chocolate for 2), I was told that this is the normal amount of food to get for 2 people. I let them know that this is not what we normally receive when we place our order and the manager proceeded to argue with me. There is no way that anyone should pay $26 for this…..

The experience was fun. Would I return? Probably so. To me, it's a check off that I've been there. HOWEVER, I will say that it was very nice to go somewhere that kids weren't running around screaming, def not your chicken tender and fry place.

Salad was good, server was very late checking back to our table to refill drinks. Food was ok, chocolate dessert was good. I feel it's too expensive for what you get.

This is my Fiance favorite place to eat. She would eat here everyday if I let her. The experience here is what makes this so different. Coming for date night or a fun night with a group of friends. The food here and the way it is served is just so fun and is worth a trip. Is always a great night here and can't wait to come back.

Always an excellent time, im learning how to cook the food faster. Hint dump it all in before you start eating then portion it out. The bloody Mary was very disappointing it had no Condiments which I had to ask for later. Ranch for the garden salad had good flavor. We got the Festa cheese, fyi you can change the level of heat. They have hot, medium, and mild. They don't add jalapeños seeds so hot is not really spicy. Co vin cooking broth had a hint of the red wine flavor. Burbon walnut chocolate was a little to thin and runny. It was dripping off before you got it to your plate or mouth. Overall it was a good experience. Highly recommend

This is the only Melting Pot we have ever been too that did not meet our expectations. My husband and I have a tradition of spending our anniversary dinner at the Melting Pot. Normally in Orlando or Nashville. This year we visited the one closest to our home which was in Louisville. We are from Southern IN, which is about a two hour drive for us. Our wait was very slow. Had reservations for 8 PM and did not even get sat until almost 8:20. Our server was great, however, the service itself was very slow. Took what seemed like forever to get our waters, then fondue, salad, meat to cook, etc. Couldn’t enjoy our conversations because we consistently heard “CORNER” every minute as servers came around the corner with plates. Sat closer to the back and I’m not sure if they were in the middle of re-painting or what, but they had big white paint spots all over it. Which is whatever, but kind of tacky looking for a restaurant you’re spending so much money to eat at. Also, this is the only Melting Pot we have ever been too that did not give us a “Happy Anniversary” card and yes, we did mark on our reservation that it was for an anniversary. None of these things are huge deals. However, our experience overall was extremely below expectations compared to other experiences we have had at other locations. Not sure if we will be back to this location.

Amazing experience. This is not just a restaurant to have food but to experience a fine dining. I went there for my anniversary and this restaurant and staffs didn't let me down. Made sure to make it memorable for us. I chose 'big night out dinner for two' It comes with four course Cheese Fondue Salad Entrée Fondue Dessert Fondue 1. Cheese Fondue was great with good options of potato, broccoli, bread etc to dip in Cheese. 2. Salad- We selected melting Pot salad and Caprese. Caprese was OK but meeting pot Salad was tasty. 3. Entrée Fondue- they have good options of salmon, tuna, chicken, duck, Veg option- potato, broccoli, mushroom etc Cooking style- MOJO They kept the best part at the end with yin and Yang desert Fondue. What a detest.. so much mouth watery and drooling Our waiter-Leo was great. Courteous and so friendly. He Explained each course very well and also kept checking on us on regular intervals. I would recommend this to everyone to take this experience atleast once. The whole experience was 2.5 hours to complete the courses and what a time we had. Definitely coming back.

Wow! We just got back from here for my birthday dinner and it was our first time. This was an AMAZING experience. First off the whole 4 courses take over 2 hours so be prepared to be dining for awhile. They pace the food very well and the portions are not overwhelming, they are perfect where I didn't leave feeling engorged but comfortably full and happy. We got the Fiesta cheese and the smores fondue which were to die for! Our waitress was Daisy and she was so helpful and so attentive!!! Shout out to Daisy you rock! Thank you for Making my bday even more special!

Julia was a great waitress, gave us space but was good about getting what we needed. The caesar and caprese salads were good, especially the pine nuts on the caesar. We had the land and sea and pacific rim entrees with mojo. Everything was delicious and she made sure to get a birthday plate for my wife’s bday. The original chocolate fondue was delicious too, especially with the waffle bits. We’ve been a few times before and will definitely be back.

Food was delicious, service was amazing. It's expensive but worth it. Every one of us was stuffed by the time the dessert course rolled around. Sorry for the low-quality pictures; we couldn't stop eating long enough for phtotos.

From the moment we stepped into The Melting Pot in Louisville, we knew we were in for a treat. This exceptional fondue restaurant excels in creating a warm, inviting atmosphere, perfect for special occasions or a delightful night out. What truly set our experience apart was our waitress, Gabrielle. Her professionalism, paired with a genuinely warm and attentive attitude, made our evening truly special. Gabrielle's knowledge of the menu was impressive. She offered superb recommendations, guiding us through an exquisite culinary journey. The cheese fondue, a symphony of flavors, was a perfect start. Gabrielle's skill in preparing it at our table added a personal touch that was both entertaining and delightful. Moving on to the main course, the quality of ingredients was top-notch, and each fondue style offered a unique and delicious experience. Gabrielle's timing was impeccable, ensuring that each course flowed smoothly into the next without any feeling of rush. Her wine pairing suggestions were spot-on, elevating the meal to an even higher level of enjoyment. But what truly stood out was Gabrielle's ability to make us feel genuinely cared for. Her attentive service, friendly conversation, and professional demeanor were the highlights of our night. She was there whenever we needed, yet she also provided us with the space to enjoy our meal and conversation. Our visit to The Melting Pot in Louisville was an exceptional dining experience, largely thanks to Gabrielle's outstanding service. We left with full bellies, warm hearts, and the certainty that we would return. For anyone looking for a memorable dining experience in Louisville, The Melting Pot, and especially Gabrielle, come highly recommended.

I love this place, its a great atmosphere for date night or family celebrations. It is a little on the pricier side especially if you do the entree selections, but if you just do a cheese and dessert fondue its totally worth it and filling too. Have never had a bad experience, I've been to this melting pot twice and another one, and they've all been great with very nice staff who answered all my many questions, they walk you through it very well for your first visit too. We travel over an hour just to go here, and we don't do that for very many places!

I went here with a friend and we did the yinyang chocolate fondue. It comes with a plate full of fruits and different treats! My favorite is the cake! They have other chocolate flavors! They also have cheese fondue option. That comes with fruits/veggies and breads. We did ask for a second plate of treats since we had chocolate left. Total price was around $25. It was kind of busy so you might want to reserve it. They do have parking space! Vegetarian friendly too! In a different visit, we tried cheese fondue and it was good. The wait on a Friday evening is too much even with reservation. Plan ahead!

Not a fan at all. The ladies at the door were not friendly, smiling, or even remotely fit to be greeters. My first time here, the $7.00 pot salad was ok, the land and sea for 1 at $30.00 not worth it, no seasoning on meat for the cast iron which was 3 shrimp, 4 chicken nugget size pieces of chicken, same with the 4 bite size pieces of steak, and the 4 bite size pieces of salmon that you don't even get all of due to it sticking, 4 asparagus, 8 zucchini slices, and 4 mushroom caps. The $32.00 bottle of Moscato screw top not even cork, not worth it, the turtle fondue not bad but beware of the blondie 2 small cubes, brownie 2 small cubes, strawberry cut into 6 to 8 pieces, 4 slices of banana, 4 cubes of pound cake, 2 pieces of waffle, 2 oreo crumb crusted marshmallows, and 3 rice Krispy cubes dipped in fondue you will need water or milk maybe even insulin! An extra $4.00 for a slice of salted caramel cheesecake. I thought I was going to get cubes for dipping as well. An extra $10.00 for rose petals and 2 TEA LIGHT candles. Service she was friendly and informative but didn't come check often enough. Atmosphere not what I expected either but I guess that's what you get for $146.00. Upon leaving the greeter just was such a bore.

This place is great. Start off with breads and melted cheese dip. Then a salad course and then your meats that you cook to your liking. And dessert is very nice. Chocolate fondue. Very nice variety of food options and nice drink selection.

My wife and I had a wonderful dinner celebrating our anniversary! Our waiter Mike was incredible. It was our first time at Melting Pot and he made us feel welcome. He was attentive, patient, and was very kind and helpful in making fantastic recommendations.

This is an experience. The smell inside is amazing and getting to eat slowly over a period of time is very nice. The vegan cheese here is fantastic, as a cheese lover in really impressed with it. Prices are to the high side but they deliver some solid food, even if you do cook it yourself. This makes for a great date night and even fun for younger ones.

This was my first dinner eaten on my way down to Mardi Gras 2022. They were taking reservations, but I was able to get in to eat in just 30 minutes. I was so nervous because we haven't really eaten out in Ontario with the pandemic and lockdowns. I felt so strange being out, but the booth I was in was in the back of the restaurants, so I really tried to relax and enjoy the experience. And I have to say, I can't wait to go back next year. I've never eaten at a fondue restaurant before but had friends in Vancouver who had prepared this type of dinner for me before, and I always wanted to do it again. There are different courses, so it may be a little pricey, especially if you're eating solo, but so very worth it. They have special gluten-free menu items, which is so wonderful when you can't eat what most other people can order. James was my server and he did a wonderful job of explaining how everything worked and making sure I was taken care of. I ordered a cherrylicious lemonade to drink...highly recommend. The appetizer course was Wisconsin cheddar with apple, gluten-free bread and veggies--broccoli, carrot and cauliflower. So very delicious. I will admit I've had better GF bread, but any time you can get it at a restaurant is great because not every restaurant offers it. It was a little bland and chewy, but the cheese was exquisite. For the next course, I ordered the Create Your Own Entree. My three meats were shrimp, garlic pepper steak and duck. I opted for the Court Bouillon to cook it in--seasoned vegetable broth. All items were marked that were GF by the way, which makes me feel safer eating. James gave me the cooking times for each of the meats. This is low carb, btw, which fits my eating style. There is a hot plate built into the table for the bouillon to cook the meat. You also get six different dipping sauces. This was really fresh and delicious. For dessert, I told James to surprise me. He asked me if I liked a couple of flavours and ended up bringing me a chocolate/peanut butter fondue with strawberries, bananas, and pineapple. Not only was it so much fun to eat this food, but it was all VERY tasty. I really enjoyed the experience and the flavours. I will definitely be stopping again on my way to Mardi Gras 2023.

Went here on date night and it was a magical experience we'll never forget. We went on a Thursday because we saw an advertisement about a Thursday special called Thursdate. This is a romantic night special they have will flowers and candles for your table and a tasting course with various fondue options. We really enjoyed the experience but were sad to hear that they couldn't accommodate the flowers and candles because they need a 24 hour notice ahead of time. I never saw anything about needing advance notice and even went back and checked to confirm this. Regardless the appetizer course was mediocre that was heavy on bread and gave a weird pairing of apples. The main course was a variety of meats and sauces that we loved and couldn't get enough of. The desert fondue was my girlfriend's favorite, and possibly mine as well. The marshmallows coated in a chocolate oreo dust then dipped in a turtle fudge was decadent. This is a place we can't wait to return to. I highly recommend going here on date night.

Couldn’t have chose a better experience for our 1st Wedding Anniversary. The dessert chocolate fondue selection was a great choice but what really topped it off was our server, Gabrielle. She truly took the time to make sure we had the perfect night out together. From drink recommendations to the exquisite service she provided— it was perfect! Definitely worth a visit and if you’re able, request Gabi as your server!

👍👍 Don’t tell the kids, parents have just as much fun here! I dont recall ever going to an indoor amusement park and the kid in me had to visit while in KY. We will definitely be back! There were so many activities that we couldn’t do them all in a few hours. I really liked the virtual reality shooting...
