Lovely staff in the office and on the boat. Great diving locations with professional and good equipment. However if you're certified, you might want to ask about the ratio of certified divers to discovery divers. My trip had 4 discovery divers on it plus myself (certified) with one guide on our second dive, which means we barely went any distance, the guide was focused on keeping the discovery divers underwater (since they don't know how to maintain buoyancy yet). It ended up being him pulling two discovery divers along while another two are churning up sand.

Mexico Divers is an adorable gem of a dive shop on Isla Mujeres. Their staff is friendly and competent and their boats are quick. They gave a detailed whale shark adventure briefing with fruit and light breakfast items prior to the adventure. Besides swimming with the largest fish on the plant, you can book other scuba and snorkel adventures too. I appreciated the time and info their staff provider my daughter and I.

Highly Recommend this guys are Awesome👌 From this second you deal with Victoria you know you are in great Hands. We were travelling all the way from Australia and its always hard to find a place you feel confortable with especially when diving with my 15 year old daughter. Safety is always a priority for me and my kids. These guys ticked all the boxes , From arranging tranfers to the island to Marie the dive instructor is awesome and so helpful and full of great Energy. We went on a Whaleshark Tour with Mexico Divers, it was TOP!! Fresh fruits & snacks as a welcome, then off we went to this wonderful tour with an incredible crew, sooo many whalesharks and swimming right next to them!! We stopped for snorkeling and ceviche on the way back, which was also a lovely experience and tasty fresh food, 100% recommended!!

Worst dive school I ever dived with. Divemaster asked us to wait for getting the equipment. So we waited more than 1 hour to actually get on the boat and to get any attention at all. The system to get equipment is totally weird. Instead of preparing the equipment yourself and try which fins and suit fits best you have are requested to sit on the boat and watch how 3 dive masters run in an unorganized manner across the boat and ask if anything is missing. So they bring it to you. Everything seems to be pretty unorganized and chaotic. However, this was actually not the first reason for the bad feedback. The divemaster did not show any fish at all or pointed out some highlights. Instead she asked the captain in which direction she should swim to see the reef. Furthermore, she seemed to be more concerned about the time spent under water than the air left in the tanks. After 35 mins the dive was over even though everybody had enough air for at least 15 to 20 more min. Since you pay for being under water and dive, how could you just go up without even asking about the remaining air but instead just look at your watch. Even though we saw dolphins during the surface interval, this was the worst dive school / divemaster I had. I cannot recommend diving with Mexico Divers.

What an amazing experience!! From online booking through awesome communication and coordination with Victoria, to Jorge guiding us through the gear and the dives, this was an incredible time! Started with a brief video and gear setup. We made our way with Jorge to the marina to meet up with Luis (our captain) for a short journey to shallow waters to work through the basics of scuba diving. From there, we headed to the Underwater Museum where we swam through the world famous coral covered statues. After exploring and swimming through them all, we boarded back on the boat for our next stop, the Manchones Reef where we saw thousands of fish, amazing colorful coral, a lobster. All in all, it was such an incredible time for all of us and we can’t wait to dive again! As first timers they made it so comfortable for us and we thoroughly enjoyed learning all about the underwater world around this beautiful area.

Had the most incredible experience on the Mexico Divers Private Whale Shark Encounter!!! From my initial booking, Victoria was incredible, answering all of my questions and even more! She truly made the lead up to the experience exciting, so grateful for the excellent customer service. Kenny and Captain Guillermo were just as amazing on our tour!!! Very knowledgeable about marine life and whale sharks, providing lots of information and also the importance of respecting the whale sharks. I truly appreciated that they follow regulations in keeping the animals safe and stress free, while we have the mind blowing experience of swimming along side these gentle giants. We even got to see a manta ray last minute!! And dolphins and turtle in the boat ride in! We had a lovely sandwich snack and conch ceviche lunch on board after a lovely snorkel at Isla Mujeres. Highly recommend Mexico Divers for any needs!! They even offer water taxis to Isla Mujeres, which we’re considering next!!

My husband and I had a great time with Mexico Divers! We both did a refresher course before the dive and felt that Silvana did a great job being thorough and safety-oriented which was important to us! We saw some turtles, a ray, and lots of beautiful fish on our dive!

The most amazing snorkeling experience! Victoria and Misayel made the whole process (sizing flippers, putting on masks, life vests, snorkeling techniques, etc.) easy and seamless from start to finish. It was our first snorkel experience and we can’t wait to return. They brought water and soft drinks on board, so we didn’t have to worry about dehydration and the Vodka Tonic is a beautiful boat! Couldn’t recommend them enough

My girlfriend and I had a really great time! It was very exciting and had a lot of fun, especially with the team. You could tell that our diving instructor Silvana put her heart and soul into it and was really funny. I love her sense of humour. She was also very gentle with me because I was very scared in the water and took enough time for me. We can highly recommend the diving school.

My brothers and I had a really great time with this shop. Very friendly and professional and you can tell they’ve been doing this for a long time. I’d recommend them to anyone looking to dive while in Isla Mujeres. We dove with Claire on our first two dives and Logan on our night dive and they were both really great people to have with us. Absolutely incredible. My last dive was over 14 years ago during my PADI certification, so this was my first "real" dive. I had forgotten basically everything! I signed up for the refresher course, which was right before the dive, so it only added an hour and a half to the total time. Marie, my instructor, was AWESOME. She walked me through everything and was incredibly patient. Her positive energy was infectious. I was pretty stressed out during the start of the first dive, and she knew exactly how to chill me out. By the second dive it felt like old hand.

Wonderful snorkeling experience. From Victoria(?) at the shop who greeted us, outfitted us with gear we needed (fins only... had our own goggles)... to Gustavo our captain, Edgar our snorkel guide... and Maria (who guided the divers) it was all about safety... and having a memorable experience both at the Reef and at MUSA. Tons of smiles all around our group! So many fish came right up to us and my GoPro! A beautiful and memorable experience for my fiancee and I! We would recommend you pay attention to the weather forecast. While the day we went on our trip was sunny (as opposed to the day before which was too windy/stormy/cloudy to go out), there was a little bit of wind, which made the sea the slightest bit choppy. Nothing bad, but if you get sea sick easily, maybe consider taking something for motion sickness.. just in case. This isn't like snorkeling right off the beach in super-shallow water, where the water is like glass. You're still in shallow waters, but you're out at sea... so expect some light waves to sway the boat back and forth. You should feel 100% confident booking any trip or tour with Mexico Divers. Whenever we go back to Isla Mujeres, we'll definitely be booking another excursion with them.

This was my first time scuba-diving and it was the best experience I could've asked for! Jorge was my diving instructor and he was super patient with me along with the rest of the crew—Adolfo and the captain of the boat. Jorge was very clear on what to do and made me feel really comfortable once we were down there, making sure I was ok. I was nervous at first but the whole crew hyped me up and made me feel more confident before diving. At one point I got a little sea sick and they had sodas and food to help me alleviate the sea sickness. I was super appreciative of that! I would definitely return here and I highly recommend them to go diving/snorkeling. It was so much fun and absolutely gorgeous under water. Thanks again Jorge and crew!!❤️

I've been diving two times with Buzos de Mexico, a few dives in June and another few in September and I already miss the place! The staff cannot be more friendly and the dives are gorgeous! The gear is very well maintained and apart from few small issues on organization, all the dives went smoothly (they should try to make smaller groups when there are many beginners for a better experience though...). The boats are comfortable enough and the staff will change your gear in no time while you enjoy drinks and fresh fruits. Concerning the dives, you want bump into millions of sharks but you'll certainly see a lot of life from corals to sea fans, shrimps to king prawns and clown fish to sharks and rays plus a turtle or two if you're lucky! :) The wreck dives are a must do too!

Best place to book private boat excursions and shared excursions. Victoria speaks perfect English and is from the US. We booked private transfers by boat to Isla Mujeres from Cancun. The boat captain and ship mates were impeccable. Fun, Friendly, Attentive, and Knowledgeable. We also booked a 40 foot Catamaran boat, private island and snorkeling tour. Boat was fully stock with everything we needed and wanted. The staff are amazing. Best ceviche I have ever had it was prepared on the boat. One of our family members was sick from to much drinking the night before, the captain nursed her back to health and all was perfecto.

AMAZING tour group (we did snorkeling at El Farito)! They speak English very well and our guide was SO great! He swam right by us and explained everything to us step by step. Very patient and was amazing when I got very sick on the boat. I will say that the snorkeling was a bit of a let down in this area, I’ve been in Hawaii and there wayyyyy more fish and a lot more types. If tou e never been this would be great though! Would definitely recommend this company.

We booked the whale shark tour with Mexico Divers and to say it was incredible is an understatement. Victoria (host), Larlo (dive guide), and our fearless captain made this trip one to remember. All the staff was very kind, thorough, and determined to get you in the water with the sharks as close as they can without touching them. Our trip was for sure adventure filled with sunshine, rain, choppy water (what can you expect it is the ocean), and some sea sickness. But above all else breath taking! The adventure ended with freshly made ceviche and a swim on Isla Mujeres’s beautiful north beach. I highly recommend Mexico Divers they did it best!

We had a great time with Marie and team from ‘Mexico Divers’. We are beginners, and she ran through the basics training before we headed out to the dives. She is full of energy and enthusiasm, but also a great teacher. We felt safe at all times in her company above and under the water. The rest of the team, and the boat captain were great too. I would highly recommend these guys to go scuba diving if you are a beginner, but also if you are qualified, as they really know their stuff and make it so enjoyable! 😊

We highly recommend this dive shop and we will be returning! Both my husband and I are certified divers and my husband suffers from spinal cord injury. As an attorney my job is research and I researched all the local dive shops. This one checked all the boxes from beginning to end. They were able to accommodate an accessible dive for my disabled veteran husband and both our boys (beginners). I did have some difficulties under the water but our dive master quickly assisted me. They made sure our whole family was safe and had a wonderful experience. If you want professionals and top notch service this is the dive shop. This is absolutely a 5 star dive center! I booked a regular 2 dive trip and it was almost a private tour. In addition, my gf could ride on the boat for free. Most providers charge you additionally. The service was outstanding. I forgot my own shorty at the washing station and left already the island. The communication with Victoria was awesome and she tried different things to send me my shorty to Playa del Carmen. At least I got it at the Cancun Airport! I'm super happy!:-)

In Isla Mujeres and need a dive shop – look no further! If you’re visiting Isla Mujeres to experience the underwater world, you would do well to dive with Mexico Divers. The owner Misael is dedicated to the making sure that your experience is like no other. Customer comfort, care and satisfaction are their priority Mexico Divers boats are clean and comfortable dive boats with the proper equipment to get the job done – they own the boats and as such aren’t going to farm you out to another operation or individual for the sake of having a full complement of divers. The dive equipment available for use was in very good condition. We found the team of diving masters, instructors and underwater guides at Mexico Divers had a wealth of underwater knowledge. They were well-informed, patient, vigilant; and knew exactly when and where to take us to have the best experience for the time of day and weather. All of the instructors / guides were clearly familiar with the reefs. The dive briefs were detailed and informative. We knew we were in good hands Claire and team (miss ya love). They made us and everyone else feel very comfortable with their stellar professionalism and island spirit. They offer excursions other than just diving – I will say that the Whale Sharks are not to be missed! We can say without exception or hesitation, we had a wonderful experience with Mexico Divers. We will use them again next time we go to Isla Mujeres.

We enjoy the trip specially because of Adolfo and the captain of the boat. Lots of experiences on how the whales sharks move and behave. What I did not like was what we have been told when we contract and what we have been told in the boat. They told us we would have 3 rides of 15 min, in reality it was only two rides of 2-3 minutes (off course whales sharks moves quickly).

Used Mexico Divers for private airport transfers and private water taxis between Cancun and Isla Mujeres. Very easy to book, great to work with and great communication throughout booking process and prior to pick ups. Would highly recommend using them.

Walked in to customize a multi day dive program for 2 but shop was busy, manager lady asked us to come a bit later. Fair enough, we showed up about an hour later only to meet with a dismissive attitude despite us being the only customers in the shop. No suggestions, no questions to understand what we are looking for. She told us that she was about to get busy again. She couldn’t wait to rid of us. So we left.

We are a family of 6. Us parents + 4 kids ages 11,9,5,3. that’s allot 🤪 We got in touch with México divers tour via our hotel (mia reef) and we are so lucky. We got a nice speed boat with enough shade (Hugely important) and protection from the flashes of water. Otherwise (and we unfortunately have had this as well) we were soaking wet before hitting the water. Our capitan name was Kenny and the instructor name was Yvan. They were so cool, they love the ocean, they respect it’s living. They even stopped the boat to get out plastic littering they saw floating. They offered us fruits and candies for the kids (we felt too sea sick to eat). When we reached the whale shark territory , it must have been a very good day, since Kenny was so thrilled at the amount of whales there. He was so happy for us that we good such a good experience. There was at least 8 whales just for us (there were many other boats away from us). We had an amazing day. The team Was very strict with regards to the rules- life vests are a must (which was a bummer since you can only float...) and no touching the whales. No way. I really recommend them. I wish that everyone would book through them, I believe they earned it.

We booked a private catamaran tour on the Catatonic. Highly recommend!! Service was more than accommodating and included mixed drinks, freshly prepared guacamole, fresh fruits and ceviche. Our captain was experienced and shared insightful knowledge of the island. We enjoyed the opportunity to snorkel (gear was provided) and took advantage of the lily pad😎 Our group also used them for the private ferry to and from our resort and each time we were greeted with the same friendly service😁

What a great day we had snorkelling with Mexico Divers! Victoria at the front desk was so helpful and gave us recommendations on where to go on the island before we even decided to book a trip. She recommended us to a beautiful day bar we would have never found on our own and told us her favorite drink to try. The snorkel excursion we signed up for was very well executed and professionally handled. We were given good equipment and a proper intro to the area and how to proceed carefully. Our guide (Dario?) was very knowledgable and had been on the island leading trips for 20 years. Saw tons of sea creatures including rays, barracuda and a sea turtle! All for ~$50 USD! And the underwater museum was super cool too. Would recommend trying the dive trip if you want to get up close though as the water is deep near the museum and your selling yourself short unless you can free dive.

Super friendly crew and the adjacent rooms for rent are fantastic for a week on the island. You can rent golf carts right across the street and it's located at the heart of the streetlife at the north end of the island and walkable to both the boardwalk (good sunrise viewing) and the beach (good sunset viewing).

Desde Amy en la recepcion (sólo habla inglés) pasando por Claire (la instructora de buceo, oriunda de Inglaterra pero hablando muy bien español), hasta Jenny y el capitán del barco, todo el personal se mostró muy amable y profesional en todo momento. Las inmersiones son muy buenas las dos y a la vez muy diferentes. Como primera experiencia de buceo, lo super recomiento. Para los que no se animen al buceo, en el mismo barco pueden ir buceadores y snorkelers y cada uno se divertirá a su forma. El barco es pequeño, lo cual encuentro positivo ya que el grupo también será pequeño y mucho mejor la atención recibida del instructor (de más está decir que Claire fue una instructora muy buena, desde el primer momento me inspiró confianza y estuvo atenta permantentemente a mis movimientos bajo el agua). Cruzamos en el medio del tour barcos de Aquaworld con 20 buzos como minimo, y también debajo del agua, con tanta gente se pierde un poco le encanto... a tenerlo en cuenta antes de contratar!

Spent a couple of days diving with the "white Manta" and crew. These guys make you feel like part of the family. Hated to leave for sure. We dove Musa, wreck and reef and the team looked after us, pointed out sea life and made our trip Superior. I'll be back and you should give them a try.
