3:27 PM on a Tuesday. Hard packed flow with floaty small jumps and fast but short downhills. I dont think I touched a root anywhere on the trails. All trails marked intermediate are beginner just about anywhere else in the country. This is a great system for a quick ride after work or after another ride. If you're a lazy E-biker like my friend Ryan Loomis, dust off the old pedal bike and get your fat a** over here. The climbs are easy and immediately rewarding. Effort wise, you could ride here all day. Be careful of the right turns on lower ridge loop number 3. A good portion of the trail is covered with leaves.

This is my go to spot of a quick after work ride! Is not very big, only about 5 miles but you can easily change up the ride and extend it.

Great Mountain Bike Trails in the heart of Hoover! Only a little over 5 miles of trails, but nice flow trails on and around a beautiful ridge. Easy access. Watch for beautiful deer, turtles crossing the trail and an occasional rattlesnake on the rocky section of trail on the backside of the ridge.

Born of a subdivision development that was cancelled, this little donated to the public hill of trails is nothing short of amazing and just thoroughly enjoyable! On the difficulty scale, I'd rank this a 2/10 (10 being the most difficult). This is a great place for amateurs to get into trail riding and for veterans to simply enjoy a fast and flowing trail. The trails are mostly well engineered to enjoy some excellent flow. What this trail system doesn't have a lot of is diversity of challenge, so don't arrive expecting too much of it. (Which I've come to really enjoy instead of the wrist pounding and back wearing, technical trails typically found elsewhere in the Birmingham area.) Expect to get your elevation climbing in though - since the trails wind back and forth, up and down the hill - handily utilizing the limited space available. There are a good number of junctures to be able to change up the rhythm and not get bored for many sessions. All-in-all, an adventure well worth any one's time!

Great trails that are super fun to ride! The trails are smooth for the most part, if you're looking to stay away from the tree roots. There are some areas of loose sand that add some difficulty, but most of it is harder packed stuff that's fun and can be very flowy. This is probably my favorite local place to ride, especially since it's free and convenient.

Excellent job utilizing this limited space. Trails wind back and forth up and down a ridge. Basically every trail is fun to ride in both directions which is a genius way to make good use of the space. There is nothing difficult. There are some short stretches toward the back you should consider "Blue", but everything else is "Green". Advanced riders can still have some serious fun on flow sections. Watch out for opposite direction traffic if you're going fast!

Great trail for mtn bikers, lots of swtchbacks, ok for runners. Runners can hit streets nearby as well. Small parking lot with larger lot across street.

Awesome trails, shaded, technical, nice down hill runs with small jumps. There are some large jumps off boulders, couple drops, hard banking turns, e bike makes it a plus. Rode 11 miles just changing it up

Amazing trail, first time today! Did the green trail, pretty technical and a lot of ridge riding so you have to be on your game....I had a few close calls but itโ€™s manageable. What an amazing place and right off of Hwy 150.

I was on a ride with my friend here and for how small it is it can't be beat. The trails are super fun and there's quite a bit of really fun rock features. I rode into this park thinking it wasn't gonna be anything great but rode out satisfied. The only issue I had was some people riding on the trails with dirt bikes but besides that it was great and I'll definitely come here again.

Great place to mountain bike. Trail 3 is the best, because of the amount of speed/flow you get. Not to say the other trails arenโ€™t great..all the trails are worth repeating. If youโ€™re looking for mileage, then youโ€™ll have to chain trails together, but it never feels like you are doing something you have already done.

Great trails for family biking, if your family is experienced in mountain biking. It has a few challenging areas.

Carlee Russell and rode our new mountain bikes here! Feed the wildlife raisins, granola, and cheese crackers.
