First time going there and would definitely go back and recommend. Dr. Smith, and the office staff, are just amazing. Very friendly, professional, a really calming place. The exam was very thorough.

The receptionist was awesome! She kept my other kids engaged with books, coloring sheets, toys, played with them and the doctor was very polite and friendly.

I had been to an audiologist before and Dr McDermott and the staff is by far better. They know the questions to ask that you wouldn't think to ask and do follow ups on a routine basis, so you don't have to remember to make an appointment. I was referred to Bay Area by United Health Care supplemental insurance, which offers a discount for seniors.

I had an outstanding experience at Bay Area Audiology. The staff are professional and explain everything from start to finish. I received the intake paperwork via e-mail and was able to complete it prior to my appointment without issue. Staff sent several reminders regarding my appointment to ensure I was aware of any changes. Most of my audiology experiences have been with the military and I will request a referral back to Bay Area Audiology as long as I am in the area. I highly recommend them and have already recommended other service members request referrals for treatment and exams.

Terrific place to get your hearing checked! From the time I walked in the door, which I was greeted by a happy & respectful Receptionist, to the time I completed my test, it was a five star experience. The doctor was exceptionally knowledgable, and there was a young lady working toward becoming a doctor, both were friendly, respectful, and explained my results in detail.

There is definitely an issue with the Phonak Hearing Aid Chargers. About every 2 months, my charger goes dead and it never works again. I brought this to their attention back in October and the Dr. acted like it was the first time that it had ever happened and simply gave me another one. Well, here we go again, the charger is dead again and not charging the hearing aids. I am sorry that I had to post this but it gets very annoying dealing with the same unreliable equipment.

They were OUTSTANDING, from the appointment setting, multiple reminders of appointment location and time. I was greeted enthusiastically by the receptionist upon arrival, my audiologist Mrs Smith went through the tests, explaining each step. She was extremely pleasant and patient, made me feel very comfortable. Mrs Smith explained all the possible options, and never once pushed any particular model, After originally going with the inner ear hearing aids, I made contact explaining I may prefer outer ear. I really thought audiology center was fantastic. They gave me a complete assessment and prompt care and sent results to my doctor and sent me an email within 24 hours. I would strongly recommend this for anyone who feels their hearing is impaired.

I cannot say enough about how much my experience with Bay Area Audiology. It was over the top from the intial call thru the appointment everything was great. The office staff is amazing! Dr. Smith amazing. I've never had such a comprehensive hearing test before. Then the explanation was exceptional!

Dr. McCarthy and Bay Area Audiology are a wonderful experience. My particular circumstance is quite complicated with many twists and turns. Dr. McCarthy not only completed the full exam effortlessly (and painless) but more importantly the final report had "every" detail of "every" twist and turn progressively in order with dates, times and places perfectly presented in tact. I was honestly skeptical that I would receive the final report and through necessity have to call or go back and clear up the discrepancies. Nothing like that. It was perfect, to the point, complete and understandable. I very highly recommend Bay Area Audiology. I don't know how it could get any better from reception to exit.

I cannot possible say enough good things about this place. My dad is 82 and was very apprehensive about getting hearing aids. Between Katherine at the front desk helping me schedule his appointments and Dr McDermott walking him through every step of the process (with me 5 states away on FaceTime!) I am so incredibly thankful that I found this place. As you can see, dad is very happy

Oh, the building looks like a house so be vigilant once you’re on the street, pull into the driveway and park around back and go in the door at the bottom of those steps ;)
