Very disappointed… I had this spot on my list for quite some time. Finally checked it out last week with my husband. Walked in with a beer in mind from what was posted on their menu and was told they didn’t have it. Rather than the bartender immediately offering a substitute, he stood there looking at me waiting to ask for something else. I asked him for something similar and ordered the only beer that sounded appealing. The bartender then asked if I wanted to start a tab and I agreed. As we sat along the wall seating, I couldn’t help but to feel as though we were out of place. It is such a small space and the regulars (you could tell) sat at the actual bar and kept glancing at us. One couple came in behind us, ordered some type of coffees, sat a few seats over, drank quickly and left. They too, seemed as uncomfortable as we did. The overall vibe left you feeling cold and ostracized. When ready to leave, I opted to pay cash since we only had two beers. The bartender seemed bothered by my paying cash, I did nonetheless. We do not plan on returning.

Overall decent experience. One bartender Tim was quite rude and this sentiment is apparently widely felt amongst the customer base. I wish their was more drink options, otherwise would recommend to go.

Super cool tucked away spot in the alley in Lake Bluff. Wish there was a menu posted onsite, there were a lot of people making the line go slow because they had to ask about every single option. Could've been avoided with a little chalkboard that has the small menu listed since I realize the menu changes frequently. Other than that it was a great spot, the wine was fantastic, and the music/vibes were tight!

The coffee is great since they use Dark Matter beans. The people are nice and the venue is great indoors and out. The only issue is that they are not reliable in being there during the hours they indicate being open. About half the time I show up on Sunday afternoons they are closed. I arrived today at 2:00pm and the place was locked up tight and no one in sight…

If you want a really authentic cup of Espresso, then John will not disappoint. His mission is to make sure you enjoy every sip

My review only reflects the coffee shop experience. Tasty oat chai! Beautiful outdoor seating. Wi-Fi was a challenge, but worth it for the views.

Beautiful spot but every time I go the drinks taste terrible—not to mention extremely expensive. Staff have the strangest attitude— unknowledgeable and indifferent with a sprinkle of frat boy. Pass.

The store is always clean neat and organized. The store team is always very friendly and professional. You really can't ask for a better grocery store experience. Five stars!

A small drink shop serving espresso and beer. If it's busy the inside gets very full but the outdoor seating is comfortable.

Matcha and banana bread were great, people were wonderful. Shout-out to the guy who paid for our order and found one of our lost debit cards

I loved the place overall. I went there on a Thursday evening and the owner was about to close. But nevertheless he gave me the coffee and then left. Coffee tasted good and different, ambiance was quiet and the owner seemed to be friendly. I am definitely going back.

Great coffee. A little pricey, but the ambiance is definitely worth it. It has an amazing outdoor seating area tucked away in a little alley. Would recommend.

The prices we paid I expect some quality beverages instead I received burnt espresso that tasted like 711 coffee. Cool new spot with some awesome art but lacking in service/cleanliness/flavor, y’all used to have great buttery espresso beans hopefully they return in the future.

I can only share the coffee experiences; never had the wine or beer. But my goodness, what an amazing cappuccino! It helps they use Oberweis milk. They clearly know their stuff, and make a great product.
