    Brought my grandson(12) for emergency glasses. The staff there are great. Those two girls had us laughing so much. But they were so professional about their jobs. The glasses we bought were buy one get one free. A great deal if you have kids. 2 year unlimited warranty on the frames and the lenses. And put some kind of protection on the lens for using the computer at no cost because he was under 13. All around a great place. Love those girls, so nice. And left the store with the much needed glasses.

    I was given a lower prescription than I'd had previously and my vision was blurry with this new prescription. I was told my eyes would adjust to it. Having worn contacts for 2 decades, I'd never been given contacts that made my vision blurry and told I'd get used to it. Perfectly nice staff and store, but I don't think the whole virtual optometrist thing works well.

    I made an appointment for same day to see the eye doctor, which was nice and convenient. But was not told it was virtual. This information is important! So the patient/customer has a chance to make a decision of whether or not they want to continue the process. If this is going to be a standard for STANTON they might want to add that bit of information for customers, other wise it seems deceptive. I have not received my glasses yet! I'm praying they are accurate.

My sister also goes here and she was getting new contacts after an appointment but when she came to pick them up they said she couldn't because she "was a no show for her eye appointment" When she clearly did show up because she has new contacts? It became a whole problem. Some employees there are just weird. You can hear them watching videos on their phones and one lady made me sign just a blank spot on a piece of paper? Like there was no purpose and I asked her if she was mistaken but she said no, I had to sign the blank spot? Then she said the paper was mine to keep? They have video appointments instead of an in person doctor and every doctor I've gotten was rude and rushed the appointment so I had to answer quickly, and God forbid I ask a question they get so mad. They also gave me "scratch free" glasses that scratched within a couple months (but Idk if that falls on them or the company the glasses are from) Overall, I hate going here but unfortunately it's the only place around that accepts my insurance. Can't wait to leave.

    Would not recommend. First of all the staff although somewhat friendly, not very helpful and were easily irritated! I joined the contact club and was told it was free but ended up being $20. Then i was told that if i purchased it i would instantly get and additional 20% off, well that didn't happen! I went in with no intention on buying glasses but I looked around and found some I liked. I asked the worker on her opinion because the glasses felt small but she assured me they were right. When I got the glasses back they were definitely too small and they put in progressive lenses which I've never asked for. I'm not sure what to do because i don't want to go back to that specific store. During college I used to work for an optical store and we always measured people for glasses and made sure that they were the right fit. Here it's just a guessing game and they don't help at all!

    I was given an eye exam the same day I visited the store. Everyone works as a team there to get the best value and look on eyewear there for you. I've been getting my prescription glasses from this Kenosha location for several years. Keep up the good work!

    Heather and Chris were absolutely amazing! They fit us in in a pinch, gave honest but kind opinions when trying on glasses, made sure we were very well taken care of, and were speedy when getting our glasses ready as we were in a hurry. We lost our glasses in a lake so we needed them asap. They made personal connections and make you feel like you are in great hands (because you are)! They were able to ship to Denver since we were visiting from out of town, which was great. Overall 10/10 experience! Definitely would recommend this place.

    They replaced my hard, uncomfortable nose pads with more comfortable ones even though I didn’t buy this pair of glasses from them. The place I purchased the glasses said they couldn’t replace them. Thanks Stanton for great customer service!

    Martha was amazing and helping me get my glasses and my lenses the same day I had a appointment I had to leave I came back to pay for my glasses and picked my glasses up the next day everything and everyone was exceptionally wonderful and my experience with getting my new glasses.

    Received both glasses and contacts from here. I love my glasses. My son's glasses came with lenses too big which ended up breaking the frame. I got help quickly to fix this issue.

    First off they told me they don't take my vision insurance . Everyone takes my insurance. So I had to pay out of pocket for my glasses . Then they told me my glasses would be done it 2 weeks . 2 weeks go by and I get a text saying my glasses are delayed but no explanation or how long they'll be delayed . It took two calls to find out they messed up making the lenses and have to start from the beginning and I'm back at the end of the waiting line . 3 more weeks to get glasses I desperately need . I'll never come back and I'll tell everyone I know not to come to Stanton . I'm going to try to get my money back tomorrow and go somewhere else

    My prescription for my glasses was incorrect. Jade and the new manager at the Kenosha Wisconsin store was so helpful and understanding. They didn't charge me anything to remake the new prescription. I am so happy! I highly recommend this company, which was located in front of a Costco! Thanks again. Dr H

    I wish I could pick no stars... cause I would. This place is VERY unprofessional and dirty. To start, I asked for my glasses to be cleaned and she used kleenex and smugged them even further... Then she puffed air before it even focused on my eye, and then again, and was like "whoops, can't work this machine".... that's terrifying. THEN, she messed up the pictures and made me really dizzy. This same lady who helped me was so rude... she kept asking me things about the machines as if I worked there. During the exam which isn't in person, the lens that you use for testing was completely smugged, I asked nicely twice and I was told if they can't fix it or get my vision to 20/20 basically it's my fault and I'd have to wait for their doctor... so more money. They then told me..my prescription changed dramatically... which makes no sense cause their machine was causing my blurriness...I also know it wasn't just me, a lady in front of me also had the same issue in the same exam room. I would never trust this place again, and unless you want a wrong prescription, I would stay as far away as humanly possible. I can't believe that experience!

    Pretty disappointed with my experience. I am very busy and time is a hard thing to find these days. I personally have never been to Stanton before, new customer, and I had set up an exam appointment online as I am in dire need of new glasses. The time that worked best for me, that was an available slot online, was 5:45pm. Shortly after booking this, I received a call from Stanton asking me to reschedule as they close at 6pm. I called back and spoke with a manager, I asked her how long an appointment usually takes and she told me 15m. This doesn’t really make much sense as I would be finished by closing time, and I told her that this is the best time that works for me. She said that I would need more time to shop for glasses afterwards. I told her that I was not purchasing glasses today, I just needed the eye exam, and then she stated that they only have one associate on the floor, and for security reasons, can’t have an appointment at that time. Unless I am receiving my eye exam by a store associate, whom I would imagine is not an eye doctor, then I would understand. She continued on with other excuses as to why I can’t come in at 5:45. It appears to me that they just want to get off of work as fast as possible, which I get, we’ve all been there, but we also all have a job to do. If 5:45pm is truly not an option, it shouldn’t be listed on your site. I will stick with meijer optical, never an issue there.

    Pros: *Got my glasses the same day as my appointment. *In store staff friendly Cons: *Eye Appts are done with telehealth doctor.-telehealth doctor had an attitude *The doctor is only on-site certain days it doesn’t mention this on the website. -needed doctor for diabetec eye exam but he reviewed assistants exam and i got the results a couple weeks later.Eyeglass selection for $79 are limited. *Lenses scratched easily within 3 days.

    So disappointed that they advertise same day glasses but then tell you 10-14 days. My son broke his glasses and needed new ones ASAP. Went here despite not taking his insurance simply because he thought he could get them quickly. False advertising at its finest.

    Great experience! I came in for a promotional free eye exam which I’ve never been offered from any other business. I appreciated the convenience as it is just down the road from my job and was able to get my exam done on my break. Highly recommend coming here for all eye services!

    I recently purchased two pairs of glasses from Stanton Optical. Heather waited on me, she went out of her way to help me pick out glasses and was so friendly. I get compliments on my glasses all the time. I will be back to Staton for my next pair.

    Decided to try Stanton after going to another optical for years; however, I’ve had the most horrible experience. They stated via email and phone my glasses were done however when I showed up twice they told me they lost them, then an hour later they called to tell me they broke them. How can I trust a place they says something is done, then lost and broke? I’m supposed to trust this place with my vision. Extremely unprofessional and can’t even contact me prior to wasting my time to arrival twice with high gas prices and then break something. These are doctors we are trusting with our health and vision but they commit malpractice.

    Stanton Optical is incredible in customer service and prices. I came to get colored contacts and I am a first-time contact user. Chris helped me pick out the appropriate color and educated me on how to take care of my eyes, especially the importance of changing them every 30 days so they do not scratch my eye. Jade is also great, always happy, and ready to assist. I love this team! Thanks guys

    Stanton Optical in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin is the one of the best optical stores in town. Jade is the manager who took care of me and saved me a lot of money like switching to Gieco. I appreciate her kindness and help assisting me with my needs for my vision care. Her team was also there to support in all my questions and concern. If anyone needs eye care, this is the one place to come. Thanks to Jade and her staff at Stanton Optical!!!😊❤️💯💯💯

    I don't write reviews very often but I felt I needed to write one for the service I received at the Pleasant Praire/Kenosha store. I just ordered my second pair of glasses today. I always have the best experience at this store. The first time I ordered glasses Heather, Jade and even Chris the branch manager were helping me pick out glasses. It was the best experience. Today Heather and Jade helped me order a pair of sunglasses. They also have a wide variety of glasses to choose from. I highly recommend Stanton Optical

    I am so happy that my boyfriend and I both went here Faith was amazing!!! She made the experience worth it My other eye doctors told me I needed reading glasses only and all along I needed proscription glasses I will never go back to my old doctor I went to before I will always come here and they worked with my state insurance even though they don’t accept it they gave me a deal I couldn’t pass up I recommend you come here It’s well worth it and I received my glasses the same day.     I stopped in at the Kenosha / Pleasant Prairie store with a copy of my prescription from my eye doctor hoping to get a spare pair of glasses very soon at a reasonable price, prior to going on an upcoming trip. Faith and Barb were at the store, and they were super helpful and friendly. They answered all of my questions and helped me to pick out some frames. Soon thereafter, I had an order in for two pairs of glasses, frames and lenses, for only $79 for both (I got a second pair as prescription readers). Two days later, I had both pairs of new glasses. Thanks Faith and Barb and Stanton Optical for your excellent, professional service and great prices and fast turnaround.

    We had the BEST experience at the Pleasant Prairie/Kenosha location. My 4 year old needed new big girl glasses and everyone at this store was super friendly and helpful. Special thanks to Faith for helping my daughter pick the perfect glasses and for treating her with such kindness! She LOVES her new fancy pink glasses that change color in the sun! Thank you for outstanding customer service, affordable prices and quality glasses! 5 stars for sure!!!
