    Absolutely criminal. We arrived at 12am to check into our hotel, we were exhausted. We got our room key and entered our room. The room was being renovated. No AC and the bedroom was dismantled. Went to the front desk, to get a room we could actually stay in. Guy behind the desk was really trying but he had no access to the computer, he relayed all he could do was hand out keys. He began frantically calling his manager and GM and apologizing to us in between calls. Another employee came up and was shocked that someone would get booked into our room BECAUSE IT WAS BEING RENOVATED! At this point is was 2am and we had to pack all our stuff back into our truck and go to another hotel because they couldn’t give us another room unless the manager approved the new room who never did answer their phone. The next day the manager decided to charge us for the night! This is criminal. DON’T COME TO THIS HOTEL!!!!

    Horrible experience. Hardly no parking due to the lot being flooded with water. We were told by house keeping the Hotel ran out of soap, lotion etc... Hallways smell like cigarette smoke. Only 1 fork and 1 spoon in the room smh

    My company put me in this so called hotel, for a month, I couldn’t wait to get out of if. Everything seemed dirty, carpet hasn’t been changed probably for 20yrs, like a lot of reviews says smells like smoke, the closet, the bathroom, probably comes from ventilation, also hallway. Everything in the room and hotel, is old, bed frame was disgusting, ancient times fridge which makes noises that wakes you up. Nobody ever came to clean room, never stayed in a “hotel” where there is no service, you had to go exchange your dirty towels down in reception, toilet paper wasn’t available for like 3days, not sure how you suppose to clean carpet or floor, if even the housekeeping lady said she doesn’t have towels when I met her in hallway, in one word AVOID. 1 star cause I could make some food and the reception people were nice, also to my surprise towels were pretty decent. Ou and the price is more than 100$ a night!!!

    We live in Alabama and we picked this hotel expecting it to be as advertised but it indeed WAS NOT. Horrible lighting in the parking lot, room and hotel overall. When we checked in and went to the room to use the restroom, the toilet stopped up, on the first flush. There was small trash bits on the floor as if it had not been swept. You can tell they dont mop the floor or vacuum, or just do a poor job. There was trash in the hallways. Just very displeasing to the eye after a 10 hour drive. It took two phone calls downstairs for someone to come look. We were able to be relocated thank God but would not recommend.

    8/21/23 This location is horrible. Upon entering the building it smells…BAD. The room itself had one working light. There was no remote to the tv. There was any tissue in the bathroom. No soap in the bathroom. There isn’t even a shower curtain! The towels were ripped and sitting n the counter with hair on them. The ac/heat doesn’t work. And to make matters worse the front desk is closed and can’t provide any assistance until 7am. I can’t even get assistance to change my room. Like seriously NO SOAP AND NO TISSUE.

    Website tells you the charge a 100 dollar deposit you'll get back at checkout. Not true. It's 150. And if you can find anyone at the desk at checkout time, you'll learn it can take up to 10 days to be refunded. If you're on a budget, you should know this.

    My stay at this location was very pleasant. From the staff to the cleanliness of the bathrooms in the lobby area. One staff member in particular Shanel Carter, was the go to person for any and everything! She is very professional and helpful. Oh and she don’t play! She takes much pride in the position she holds at the Sonesta. We need more people like her at businesses out here where customer service is held to an all time high standard.

    Well I guess for just sleeping in for one night before driving 3 hours home it worked just fine. But we were not provided toilet paper. There was shampoo and conditioner but no hand soaps. Dish soap only in the kitchen. After searching for 20 mins for a TV remote realized there was none and the only channel is what they provide of some romcom. The counters were torn up and dirty. Tables not clean, carpet torn out and door frames covered in brown filth. And the smell was horrible, like cigarettes and old mold. Front desk guy was super nice tho when we arrived at 10:30pm to check in after a concert. But by the time we went back out to ask for toilet paper the desk was closed and everyone was gone. Didn't know if breakfast was provided, woke up late anyways so we went to check at about 10 am before check out and the food room was closed with the carpet pulled up, maybe cleaning?? Like I said good for a quick sleep but definitely wouldn't stay more that that. Only thing clean in the whole place was the bed sheet THANKFULLY!

    Please beware they scammed me. The front desk was not readily available. My check out date was Monday, they charged my card on Sunday. They charged me an extra week after I checked out. Jane said I would not be charged. Oh well, that was not the truth. The internet is 0g. Slower than a turtle.

    Worst nasty dirty dusty and MOLD in the tub and no shower curtain. Walls dirty sofa looked like hell. Stained.. No blow dryer toilet lid super glued.. Floors not clean. Gave me dirty disgusting feet . Tear it down. Scary people at night hanging around in the back lot. Paide 235 dollars for Nothing . Door key wouldn't work Coffee is horrible. Never again.. Please don't respond with a "Sorry.." Respond by giving me 200 bucks it was on barely worth 35 dollars.

    The room was fine, hallways and appearance below average. My major issue is the deposit. I was charged $150 deposit which I was told I’d get back upon checkout. Went to checkout and was told 7-10 business days. Called on the seventh day the desk clerk says it’s 10 days. Today is the tenth day no weekends or holidays included a total of 16 days they’ve had my money. Now I call and tell them my money still hasn’t returned to my cashapp and she says oh cashapp can take 30 days. What the entire he!! No one said that. I want and NEED my money. I will never stay there again. The lack of communication is horrible. And to think I basically cleaned the room when we left to make it easier on housekeeping. And we didn’t even make a mess!!! I’m so mad at the audacity from a 1 star hotel

    Night staff was good. Found empty soda can in room. Food crumbs on the floor and a wet spill on table next to bed. Makes you wonder what I did not see. If we stay again, we will check in earlier to verify cleanliness of the room before staying.

    Booked this hotel because it had a decent rating and I’m not from the area. It was very dirty inside. Stains and food on the floor of the elevator. Everywhere smelled like burnt food and marijuana. Hair all over the bathroom in our room. It was dirty enough that we even checked for bed bugs. We stayed for 5 minutes before walking out and they refused to refund me because I didn’t cancel my reservation according to their policy. If you want to run a place as filthy as that maybe you should charge by the hour instead of trying to act like a professional facility.

    PLEASE READ. Listen I'm 45 years old, I've done my fair share of traveling from state to state. When I tell you this is THE WORST hotel I've EVER seen in MY LIFE. Started off by "randoms" in the parking lot then the congregation of "randoms" by the front desk, then walking past the laundry room and more "randoms". Get on the elevator and the carpet looked like it had not been vacuumed in 5 years. Walk into our room and it smelled like an old retirement home. Then my wife goes in the bathroom and there is a used wash cloth hanging from the shower rod. The tub was FILTHY, The smoke detector had a bag over it, 1 fork. The tub wouldn't drain and was clogged. WHAT A MESS. I told my wife to pick up your bags and we are leaving. We immediately got in our car and drove to another hotel at 9:00pm. THE WORST HOTEL IVE EVER SEEN. Needs to be shut down. If I could give this a -5 out of 10 I would but that's not an option. I'll also add anyone who gave this hotel a 5/5 rating I'm pretty sure is a fake account or generated by some person in ownership or staff there is absolutely positively no way in the world anyone would rate this hotel above a 1. Not safe, not clean, not anything. Please beleive every negative comment you see on this hotel and ignore the positive ones there's NO WAY they are real. I'm definitely calling to report this place to the BBB and or corporate. They should be ashamed. This place makes Motel 8 look like the Ritz.

    Hotel was clean and they have fixed a great deal of the issues from my last trip. But my A/C didn't work, the cooktop timer didn't have a knob and the refrigerator didn't make ice and wouldn't keep my soda or Gatorade cold. But they are working on it as the improvement was vast compared to my last stay

    Well to begin with I have lived here for almost 3 months, the place isn’t something that you expect to be as good as 5 star but definitely manageable… I personally wanna thank the asst. manager Chanel for always being a nice person and doing everything as and when requested… overall this place is okay compared to other few places I was in during my visit to the US

    I love this hotel. The rooms have full kitchen. It’s truly my place to go to feel at home. The staff is outstanding. They are very knowledgeable about area restaurants and things to do in the area. The manager Chanel is usually on site and will accommodate our needs. Front desk Chris and Atreish are very friendly and try to make your stay very enjoyable. I have seen negative reviews for this hotel. I’m truly puzzled this hotel is fantastic and their prices are very reasonable and competitive. Thanks again

    DO NOT STAY HERE!!! We stayed last weekend for 3 nights the rooms were DISGUSTING. We didn’t receive towels for 2 out of the 3 nights. Because of how dirty it was ended up showering and sleeping at a family members for 2 out of the 3 nights. We complained to management several times for them to say they would have it cleaned but NO ONE CAME. I’ve spoken to 2 managers only to find out no one wrote any notes about our complaints while there. (Big Surprise) management stated they placed us in a Switch our room but weren’t sure how long guests stayed and don’t think anyone came in to clean up. There was hair and dirt everywhere pillowcases were filthy, some one else stains were in the toilet and shower! There was flooding on our floor and they placed out dans the smell was intolerable! I wouldn’t recommend this location to anyone!

    If I could give 0 stars I would. I got a Yelp account, despite not being a big review person, just to leave this review. My husband stayed here on a business trip. They double-charged him. While he was there, he spent literal hours talking with staff and trying to track down management who repeatedly said they would call to resolve the issue and never did. He's home from his trip and this is still unresolved. I guess we'll have to call to dispute the charge with the credit card company. But, that's just the tip of the iceberg. After his coworker extended his stay for a day, the manager cleaned out his room. Took his clothes, threw out his food and stole 2 work laptops and a cell phone. When he talked to them about it, they denied the electronics were in the room. He had to threaten to file a police report for them to return his stolen, no wait sorry "misplaced," items! While they were trying to address those issues someone tried to check in with a reservation only to be told there was no room for them (dodged a bullet in my opinion). And, another man checked in only to be placed in a dirty room that had no linens. This was by far the worst hotel either my husband or his coworker, that routinely travel for work, have experienced.

    Front desk person was pleasant when we arrived, then we had a few issues. The key for room #1 didn't work, room #2 wasn't completely cleaned. We ended up back at room #1( we were let in with a master key and maintenence arrived in the morning to completely replace the lock and give us room keys. The front desk closes down at 11pm, which was an inconvenience to us and other guests. However, all of our issues were addressed when the morning manager arrived. This place is quiet and conveniently located right off of 2 major expressways, so I will probably return again.

    A zero star! I have never had an experience like this at a hotel. Bedding disgusting, floor not vacuumed, closet not cleaned, and the shower had hair in it still. We walked away... Absolutely disgusting

    Rooms are decent. Definitely clean and having a separate bedroom is a plus and not something you can get just anywhere. Only issue is sometimes staff and the way they talk to customers. I get it, it's a stressful and tiring job , but some people could be easily offended if they didn't know how sraff is.

    I have been staying here for work for the last 3 weeks and had no problem until now. Saturday night a pipe busted on the first floor. Causing the entire building to be without hot water. I am a patient person. I figured they had problems contacting a plumber to fix the issue (being the weekend) they told me last night the problem should be fixed by this morning. I STILL HAVE NO HOT WATER, I know this isn't the staffs fault. This company should not only refund the money of the guest but also provide other accommodations for guests that have paid for the week or month. That is why I have given such a low score.

    The front desk was very welcoming and informative. Chanel was the absolute best she was able to help me with some issues that I had with my check in since I booked through a third party reservation. Everything was clean and smelled really good when you walk through the door I definitely give this stay a 10/10.

    Nice stay the manager atreisha was extremely accommodating and extremely nice. I was helped and they made sure I would come back!. Also thanks to Shawn who did an amazing job cleaning and lance for helping me early check in and gave me an amazing rate thanks you guys!!

    Peaceful bed is comfy only thing the stopper in the tub didn’t work you can bbq on the premises you can use your personal one or they gas grill guest services was awesome and they do come to your room when there is a issue Jeffery was very nice and helpful. And they are pet friendly that’s a plus I’ll be back.

    I stay here often especially for stays within this area because you can’t beat the price for a clean place this close to major freeways and shopping centers, and not to mention it is nestled in a very calm and protected suburban city. The amenities you’re afforded without the extra charge are a plus! The gym stays clean, there’s free wifi, a full kitchen in your room, and free coffee every morning. The manager at this location is super personable and has always fixed any concern I’ve had with haste. To date, I’ve yet to have a really bad experience.

    The hotel hallway was dirty. The first room was dirty with towels and sheets on the floor. The second room I had to mop the bathroom floor and the sheets and blanket were paper thin. The shower did not drain properly so I was taking a shower with the tub was filling up with water. The smell in the room was horrible Lysol nor febreeze could get rid of the smell. We stayed one night and checked out the next day. The hotel management refused to give us a refund for the other 2 nights. I’ve called the hotel, Sonesta HQ, the travel company that I booked the room through and my bank. All of those businesses reached out to hotel mgmt but they refuse to refund my money. The only reason I booked that hotel was because it was close to the hospital where my mother was admitted. I flew in late and checked in after midnight. If I knew this hotel was so nasty musty dirty and management is so horrible I would have slept in my car at the hospital. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!!!

    So this hotel was so bad that the one I switched to is getting a review of 5 stars just as a comparison. This place was the dirtiest place I think I've ever stayed the first room we switched out because of an unbearable smell. The second room to make up for it had a smell of urine so bad it stung my fiance nostrils. After hours of fighting instead of leaving we found another hotel that is much cleaner nicer and cost less per night. Worst experience ever

    This experience was awful from the start. As soon as we walked in the smell of smoke was everywhere. This was okay because we expected the rooms to not have smell, but it was awful. When we reported this to the front desk, they gave a bottle of febreez. Also, a pool was advertised but that was no where. Also, this was not worth over 100 bucks, no amenities or anything. If you like smoke smell, stay here! This was probably the worst hotel I’ve stayed it. Don’t stay here, it’s just jot good at all.

    Listen. This place facilitates a program for drifters. They charged $100 a night for a hotel full of people who is living out of there through government funding. Very weird feeling when you see the same people in the hallways when you are a visitor or going in and out the building to take in the city..I also told the man I had my service animal which are supposed to stay for free and the man still charge my card for the Pet fee with the price of the room and the $100 deposit.. some rooms are renovated but a majority are not..
