A large and beautiful cemetery, especially in spring. Lots of tombstones of important people in the past. Including the grave of Dmowski and family.

A huge cemetery. In terms of the number of necropolises, it is the largest in Europe and the 2nd largest in the world. Many famous, interesting and intriguing people rest here... The entire elite of right-bank Warsaw. Everyday it's empty and quiet, much more atmospheric than at Powązki where it is already an official tourist attraction...

A cemetery, not an avenue for driving cars. It's good that you can't enter the cemetery on holidays, Saturdays and Sundays. Older people can get help from their families during the week, and even then, cars drive right up to the graves and you can't go through them. Loud conversations, shouting, smoking cigarettes and throwing pets under other graves. Lack of culture and lack of respect for the dead. From October 27 to November 4, 2018, cars are prohibited from entering the cemetery and all stonework is prohibited.

(Translated by Google) Beautiful wooden church. The cemetery has a specific atmosphere. The burial sites are well marked. You can buy both live and artificial flowers. (Original) Piękny drewniany kościółek. Cmentarz posiada swoisty klimat. Miejsca pochówku dobrze oznaczone. Można kupić kwiaty zarówno żywe wiązanki jak i sztuczne.

Are you having a funeral? Better go to Wólka. There are nicer priests there, a nicer director, there is no such visible mass. This terrible day of the funeral will not be such a trauma. Here you and your deceased are just a source of fees. I love this cemetery, but the staff barking at every turn scares me away

One of the largest cemeteries in Europe. A beautiful place full of plants in the alleys shows a piece of Warsaw's history.

One of the largest necropolises in Poland. Next to it is a Jewish cemetery. And when entering from Św. Street It marks an important point on the historical map of Poland, a monument in honor of independence soldiers who were first brutally tortured and then, among others, in this cemetery, secretly buried in nameless graves. I recommend this place.

Cemeteries are an important part of life (and death, obviously) in Poland. This is one of the biggest and worth exploring with the required attitude of respect. On 1st of November, its full magic unfolds.

(Translated by Google) A beautiful old cemetery with an atmosphere. Lots of trees, squirrels and birds. Good access, November 1 only via cemetery lines. We often visit not only grandparents' graves. Our favorite tomb of the traveler Toni Halik, made of a beautiful red stone by the famous sculptor Kazimierz Zemła. Others are also original and worth pondering! (Original) Piękny, stary cmentarz z klimatem. Dużo drzew, wiewiórek i ptaków. Dobry dojazd, 1 listopada tylko liniami cmentarnymi. Odwiedzamy często nie tylko groby dziadków. Nasz ulubiony grób podróżnika Toniego Halika z pięknego czerwonego kamienia znanego rzeźbiarza Kazimierza Zemły. Inne również oryginalne i warte zadumy!

A beautiful cemetery, many historic graves from the 18th century. A good place for a nostalgic walk. There is also the tomb of Roman Dmowski and many other Polish patriots and heroes to whom you can pay tribute ❤️

Very poor marking of the entrances, and when you find a grave of a loved one you have never been to, it is difficult to find it. I had very little service

Dogodny dojazd. Można kupić wiązanki, kwiaty, znicze przy bramach. Na cmentarzu jest porządek. Położenie grobów jest dobrze oznakowane.

(Translated by Google) A large, wooded, 19th-century cemetery. It can be a place for nostalgic walks, because it looks a bit like a park (e.g. a lot of squirrels live there). On weekdays, you can visit the cemetery until 15:00, enter by car - for a small fee (you must leave until 16:00). (Original) Duży, zadrzewiony, XIX-wieczny cmentarz. Może stanowić miejsce pełnych nostalgii spacerów, bowiem nieco przypomina park (np. żyje w nim sporo wiewiórek). W dni powszednie można na cmentarz do godz. 15:00, wjechać samochodem - za drobną opłatą (wyjechać trzeba do 16:00).
