No water in the room for over an hour after our arrival while “the engine” was being turned on. Still barely any water pressure after. What kind of hotel doesn’t have decent water for a shower?

Really bad experience Must be avoided The breakfast is a nightmare, I thought It was meant for dogs. There’s a park with animals in bad condition, without water and food. Everything is falling in pieces. They say they are a 5 star hotel but it is max a 2 star hotel.

Amazing, family& dog friendly place with great location! Situated walking distance to all free viewpoints that overlook Plitvice lakes and entrance 3 to the park (you can get your ticket at reception)! The staff is all very friendly, so helpful, they helped dig out our cars under the snow. Breakfast needs a little bit of work, but you have all the basics. Rooms are clean, wellness is nice!

One of the best places we stayed in all of Croatia. It’s right inside the National park, has a fabulous on-site restaurant, boasts a petting zoo and lots of other fun activities, and the rooms were beautiful and cozy lux cabins—in addition to some of the best staff service we found in the country. We’ll definitely be back!

Lovely hotel village with almost all amenities. Room with jacuzzi, in-house activities like snooker, archery, mini-golf, football, dartboard room etc etc. gym needs to refresh as most of machines not working but honestly not required. Morning walk around national forest provides tremendous experience and view. restaurant is also nice including local food. important: it’s just next to entrance to national park (5 min walk) Our family loved the place.

Very nice location, awesome amenities. And real nice people and staff. Overpriced restaurant and really loud if there are more than one group per cabin.

Upfront: it's a very rural place and not easy to reach. Taxi is a way, but your own (or maybe rental) car is the best option. Always plan ahea Other than that, we had an absolutely lovely stay. The staff was probably the most helpful, welcoming and competent out of every accommodation I have ever been to. The restaurant is very good and also offers Vegetarier dishes (3 choices) and a few veggie starters. The house we lived on was generously furnished, had 2 yakuzi. Huge kids playground, mini golf, table tennis, petting zoo,... All right on the area. Just a 10 minutes walk away, you will be reaching Plitvice Lakes, which of course are absolutely beautiful. Regardless of for what entrance you bought your ticket, you will be able to enter on the shortest route and find yourself right in the middle of it all :)

Not given the rooms we booked, kitchenette water not working in one room, our restaurant “Peka” reservation made 24 hrs prior was cancelled by the hotel because “they didn’t have meat” LOL 😂 you’ve got to be joking ?!

The place was nice, but unfortunately there were spots covered with dust... which is a no go by their prices. We went there for dinner and the ambient was very nice but the choice was poor. However, we choose the stake and Cesar salad...both were a disappointment. The next morning we went with low expectations to the breakfast and we were surprised. The bread was a completely different story then the evening before. Whatever we choose we were satisfied and we didn’t get to choose half of the food. So lots of bonus points here. We felt a bit sorry for the animals, specially for the ponies since there were separate, standing in mud with no food, no hay. That was sad. The facility is a dream place for children though. And there is a special not official entrance to Plitvicke which makes it easy if you buy the tickets online (for any entrance) and you can walk from your room to the entrance- which is a huge plus in the session when it is crowded with hard times to find a parking and driving in lines... so it has its ups and downs. There is a lot of potential if they will higher all the standards to their prices.

Spent there two nights on this resort me and my girlfriend as we were going to visit the National park that’s really close to it . Everything was exceptional from the kind receptionists to the waiters in the dining area . The apartment we were staying at was very cozy and always warm . Boiling hot water in the shower always and the glass doors are an extra not to get the things wet around and slippery. Breakfast with so many options to choose from from cold meat to anything you can imagine as homemade juices ! PS: Lucky we as we woke up with snow outside the day we were leaving. Snow suits perfect the scenery !

We had a great stay, with only one disappointment. We expected a hot tub on our patio, as advertised. It turned out to be a jacuzzi bathtub, and the water never got hot enough to fill it. Once we got over this everything else was great; there was even a communal hot tub so we just used that instead, and had it to ourselves. Excellent breakfast, lots of activities including badminton and archery, and the petting zoo was fun. Room was spotlessly clean. Location was great and staff were very helpful. As long as you understand that you don't have a private hot tub you'll have a great time.

Very nice place. I would like to give then 5 stars but I have a few small problems. - it would be a nice place to relax. It is super quiet location but they have noisy fans running everywhere. And one very annoying noise close to the parking lot, maybe some pump or whatever - smell from canalisation on some places - they told me that electric car charging is possible here si I have arrived with very low reserve. Unfortunately they do not have any charger or 3 phase plug here. They have offered me 1 phase extension cord and my tesla charger did not work with it.. I don't know where can I charge now so I could go to the nearest public charger.. Please solve these problems and you will be perfect!

Lovely hotel right near the secret 3rd entrance to Plitvice! They had a very cute restaurant servicing excellent local cuisine. Even gave us complementary shots! And the staff were so kind and welcoming!!

Overall not bad, the service is friendly and willing but my first concern was when I came to my room and found out that my card reader is broken and anyone could open the door even without a keycard. That was fixed fairly quickly but for a 5 star hotel with not the lowest prices i expect to have a fully functioning room and in this case my safety system. If i wouldn’t check everything myself then my room would be fully accessible for everyone the whole night. However this wasn’t the reason for such a low rating. The reason of my one star rating was when I came to the restaurant. In my opinion a 5-star hotel should have a up to date menu with everything on it accessible to customers. I chose a burger from the menu and the waiter informed me that they dont have that anymore. This for me is not acceptable for a “5-star hotel”. Next issue was in another room my family took. In this room the bathroom had a layer of mold in the shower. Again, unacceptable for a “5-star hotel”. Next i would like to warn visitors that the rooms look nothing like on the pictures. A lot of photoshop and special lighting went into the making of those beautiful pictures. This is how i would summarize my experience…

Fantastic location in the national park. All a bit quirky and interesting, but maybe the zoo is a bit unnecessary. Freedom for the goats and big dog!

The most horrible experience i ever had on a holiday: 1. The air conditioning didn’t work properly and the outside temperature was 32 degrees celsius- the room temperature was 29 and nobody did nothing to repair this 2. I paid extra for a larger room and i received a standard room - they told me premium rooms were stock out by the time I arrived 3. The internet never worked 4. The pillows and duvet covers were dirty and bad smelling 5. Spiderwebs all over the room If you really want to ruin your entire holiday, please visit them!✅

We spend two days there and we’re really happy about that choice. The place is really good to discover the nature around. The big water fall is about 1 km to walk and there is a separat entrance for the National park where you don’t have to queue. The service is great, all the guys are worried and take care about your wishes. There are different facilities to do like archery, billiard and mini golf. The restaurant offers really good dishes - it is not cheap, but really delicious. The rooms are in little cottages and really woody.

Why on earth is this labeled as a 5 star hotel? It’s awful. When I arrived to my room there were swarming black flies and dead flies all over the ground, the bed, the window sills, and the side tables. We were placed on the third floor and there are no bellmen available to help carry your bags. The small nice woman at the front desk had to carry our suitcases up three flights of stairs when we said we could not. Then we saw the flies and had ti change rooms, and she had to carry them down again. Breakfast was very mediocre (powdered coffee machine, etc.) and restaurant for dinner was even worse. Our “mixed grill” dinner was literally plain hamburger pattys and breakfast sausages with a plain chicken breast on top of a bed of fries and raw white onion on top. The whole experience was just gross and upsetting.

A very nice hotel in Plitvica Lakes. Not a luxury one, but very comfortable and clean. The breakfast was great. Walking distance to the park. The hotel staff was friendly and nice. Enough parking spot for cars. Definitely an excellent hotel to stay when visiting the Plitvica National Park.

In walking distance of Plitvice entrance 3; you need to have bought your tickets beforehand (we had ours for entrance 2, worked perfectly). Very nice and helpful hotel staff. We booked via booking where it's advertised as 'Lakeside Hotel Plitvice' which caused some confusion on googlemaps, luckily we put in the adress of the place and not its name, else we would have ended up at the wrong location.

Let's start with the positive, room are clean location is perfect restaurant are nice stuff was friendly and always smiling. Back to negatives, after half hour from check in water was cute from the room check with the Reception they told me it major Damage. Checked with other guest and the restaurant both said there's no problem with the water I confronted the receptionist with what the guast say and what I saw in the restaurant. Laying is big red flag and A sign of disrespect for the guests. They solve the problem by give us another room in different Cottage.

Beautiful facilities next to the less crowded entrance of Plitvitce Lakes NP. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was gorgeous and bed was very large and comfortable. I especially loved the breakfast. There was such a variety: eggs, bacon, sausage, quiche, crepes, fruit, cereals, sweet breads, pudding...etc. Can't wait to come back!

We were here for dinner. A little bit expensive, but this is 5-star hotel. Food was very tasty, especially trout. Best option for Plitvice Selo.

Nice hotel village close to the tallest waterfall in the park. It’s about a 20 min drive to the parking lot of Plitvice Lakes Park. The staff were friendly but something little things could be improved. The electric privacy shades didn’t work for our room and some of the lights were burned out. The archery set provided only had two arrows (both broken). We were told breakfast ended at 10:30 at check in and when we showed up at 0950 the staff yelled at us that breakfast was over and we shouldn’t eat??? We ate anyways since why waste food that’s already out? We had to grab coffee cups, salt and pepper and silver wear from other tables for both meals we had there. The dinner was okay. My soup wasn’t hot when it came out. You can tell the restaurant staff is stressed, we wanted some drinks from the bar and were told forcefully we needed a reservation, once we explained we just wanted drinks it was fine. The empty drink glasses pilled up outside so we ended up moving them all to another table. The petting zoo was cute but I hope they let the animals roam around in larger enclosures that all year round. Outdoor jacuzzis take forever to fill up and our neighbors jets didn’t work in the tub. It was nice but the overall experience could be improved if wants to brand itself as a “luxury resort”.

Restaurant: I give two stars. Unfriendly staff (at least to English speaking customers), the food was alright but too expensive. My dish was cold when served to me so I asked them if it’s supposed to be like that, the waiter said no and and after a while he brought the same plate back warmed. I reckon you’d be better off at some of the neighbour restaurants. Hotel: I give four stars. The staff were friendly and helpful, nice cozy room, the whole “village kinda hotel with many buldings” thing is very cool. They even have a little zoo. You get a private jacuzzi with your room. Also it’s very close to the entrance 3 of Plitvice lakes. Unfortunately the restaurant wasn’t very good. Three stars.

Wondefull location very closed to one of the Plitvice Lake Reservation secondary entrance (easy access to P3 boat terminal). Rustic aspect of the buildings create a pleasant atmosphere. We had an apartment with two rooms, interior stair and jacuzzi. The restaurant is OK for the breakfast but is very expensive in relation to what it offers for dinner.

Very cozy and peaceful place for my stay. All staff were very friendly. Room was comfortable with medieval vibe and cozy decor! I love all the decor in the room and also the restaurant :) Breakfast here is really nice. Eating here with a view full of greens is the perfect way to start the day! You can also do archery and golf here. I would recommend staying here before or after visiting the plitvice lake.

👍👍 We had an amazing stay here! The property is so nice and secluded. It’s a bit of a windy drive to get here but totally worth it. It’s close to the upper viewpoint of the main falls, so it’s a great way to start your day. Everyone at the property is so nice and accommodating (special shout-out to D...
