For my personal taste I find the bred too thick and it does not taste good. French fries were very good but kind of over priced for Bulgaria with 6.90lv - not the best burger place but ok.

Very very good. The food is so delicious and the waiting time for food to come is short. Better go during the weekdays there is an happy hour there. Infront of it ,there is a great street art about food and beers, so you just say, lest do that.

First of all, the place is really cool. They have done an amazing job on the interior - it feels homey, very authentic for Plovdiv and reminds me of a pastry shop my grandmother used to take me nearby when I was a kid. The staff is very friendly and trying hard. They made some mistakes, but I think it's because the place is new and all in all, they were really nice to us. The burgers are below average for me though. The patty does not smell or taste like beef, two times I tried to get it medium-rare, two times I got well. The bacon was not good and the bun was sticky. The fries were not great either. Other than that - good selection of craft beers and I love the teasers they've got - old school chewing gum with the bill, tetris consoles on the tables. I have to admit I will probably visit again hoping they will step up their burger game or just because there is no alternative in town.

All the burgers looked amazing, therefore we had troubles choosing what to order, but we were very happy with our picks. I don't think you could make a wrong choice, since everything is delicious. We had a very nice meal and you could pick between 3 sizes for the burgers

Great burgers with vegetarian options available. The service was very quick and the food came out nice and hot. You can get cheese sauce poured all over your burger too!

If you like burgers, look no further! Skapto Plovdiv are the best! You can actually forget the rest. For all you veggies the Captain Plan(e)t is delicious, as it's the Obi Wan Quinoabi! The fries are great and for all my wheat/ gluten-free fellows, the athletic style burgers are the way to go here! I can't tell you how good these burgers are, you'll just have to try it! The staff are friendly and speak English as well. Xx

If you have been to another place from the chain - it's the same but in a different town. The grub will get you good, the cheddar sauce is nice. It falls in the 'fancy burger' category while maintaining good ratio with the PPF - price-pretentiousness-food.

I really enjoyed the place. The food is amazing especially "Back to basics". If I have the opportunity to come back I will!

I tried this place once in Sofia and now once in Plovdiv and have been really disappointed both times. This review is for the Plovdiv location. Ordered a Skapto burger and small fries. The fries are quite greasy (I don't think they are using quality oil either to cook them). The mayonnaise is not real but some fake version (looks pure white, tastes strange). The burger looks good when they bring it to you, but the taste is another matter. They need to switch their hamburger buns to maybe a potato roll, because these brioche buns completely disintegrate while you're trying to eat it. The bacon was not cooked enough which was gross and the sauce they used on the "burger" - seemed strange (didn't go well with the burger). The actual meat they also use is very hard and seems to to break off in chunks looks weird like a reddish color - I have never seen beef look like this quite frankly, so I don't know what to think or what it really is -but it does not taste good. On the menu they specify their burgers are made with "limousine beef" maybe because a limo ran over the cow = roadkill (tastes more like that). After 2 attempts at this place I am throwing in the towel for good. Also the the person who took the order was not very friendly. I do not think it's worth the money and I did not like the food nor can I recommend it.

Maybe I had high expectations because of the good reviews but the hamburgers were not that good and far from the best I have had. The lemonade also tasted off as if made with syrup.

Honestly the driest and most tasteless vegetarian burger I’ve ever eaten. What is served is nothing like as in the menu photos. I would not complain if not for the fact it is actually very expensive, therefore expecting something that is at least tasty and filling, and you do not even get fries with the burger. You would be more satisfied with a €2 burger at a cheap takeaway. Skip the disappointment and eat somewhere else.

Good burger. I got the namesake burger, good spice level, great flavor. Only complaint would be the bun structure, it disintegrated on me before I could finish. Option to eat with a fork maybe. Chili fries with what tasted like canned cheese with another spice were good too, I would recommend. House beer is solid, a bit to bitter for a pale ale, but I wouldn't turn it away in this day and age of milkshake IPAs and lactose bombs. Cool place in a trendy and hip area.

Went two days in a row. Tried, Skipton Burger, Cheeses, Pollo Loco and Takisho(may be spelled wrong). Had fries with tartar sauce. Ah-maz-ing! So delicious! May go again before we leave the area. Servers were kind, service was fast!

I will not comment on the food as it's always good. However, there was no soap in the toilet (and keep in mind you eat a burger with your hands since they don't offer gloves). When we told the waitress about the soap she said it was right before NY (29 December) and nobody did deliveries and she could do nothing about the soap - mind you, a simple soap can be bought from a regular shop for less than 1 euro (Billa or DM close by).

4th that i came to this place. its my first spot in Bulgaria always when i am here. i really love the burgers. Thank u Balkan bites for the recommendation and thanks Skapto for the marvelous fries n burgers.

Such a great restaurant! The burgers are to die for!! And don’t get me started on the fries.. so fresh and crispy! Definitely worth a visit, trust me!

If your looking for some juicy delicious burgers. This is your spot. Maybe even a beer or a cold drink well then your definitely at the place. Skapto has more of a selection of beers that most the beer houses I have been to. Back to the food I ordered this beast of a burger fully loaded even with some mozzarella as you can see. I actually went twice as my first visit was so good. The ‘Back to Basics’ was seriously one of the best burgers I’ve had in a long time. Perfectly cooked, incredible flavour. Had the ‘El Apollo Loco’ which was ok but clearly made with what seemed like a heavily processed chicken mince which I didn’t enjoy. Other than that, great chill atmosphere. English speaking staff was helpful as a tourist, and prices are quite good. Oh and the fries are up there with any other great burger place too.

It's a must-see and - eat if you are a true burger fan. Wide range of food with good beer, the staff is very friendly and the overall vibe is urban & chill. Cheers from Zagreb

Very fine establishment, good food, great service, cool air conditioning. This is THE Burger place

We were looking forward to the visit - since it had so many good reviews. But on the honest side the service was none existing (the waitress only had 2 customers me and my girlfriend and another 4 man table). We had to go find her, and when we wanted to have some more to drink same same. For the burger it is okay, the cook and tastes are there. But the use a lot of cummin or some Balkan Spice that made it taste a bit weird, it was quite hard to eat (i.e., another presentation) and the Worst was they had not Toasted the bun so the buns were suuuuper soggy.

We got vegetarian burger and fries from this place last night, ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS. Everything perfect. Totally deserved its reputation as the best burger joint in town.
