Surely I can't be the only one visiting this place and wondering why it's rated so high. The food is bland at best or over seasoned which could just be a chef their day off but nothing tastes fresh. The fish, octopus and even the veal steak tastes like its been defrosted. Which would explain why food took over 1 hour to arrive. Given we just sat there for that long, there was no recompense for a drink while they butchered the meal. The only saving grace is the rosemary bread which was freshly baked. Amazing what can be done if care was taken with the dish. Between the long wait, bland food, the only hope is nice looking dishes. So enjoy the feast on the eyes and don't turn up hungry.

The shakshuka was just tomatoes with eggs.. with added pepperoni, while it is stated that it has chorizo.. Pork ribs were mediocre and there was more potatoes than ribs on the plate. It looked good though in terms of presentation. The risotto with asparagus and chicken tastes like rise pudding with green beans. We were left with a hefty bill and utterly disappointed from the food quality. Perhaps Hemingway was once a great place, but that is no more the truth!

We had a wonderful selection of food the other night when we where here. We had the fried eggplant, potatoes and a green salad which they made for us on request and brought out with some seeds. We also had the house wine which was good, however, I would recommend trying a bolder wine of the wine menu. We seated next to the lobster which was unfortunate and we only realised halfway through our dinner. We named him Harold and luckily he was not sacrificed during our dinner.
