Just great! Fantastic food and value. Great service. We enjoyed how chill the garden was. This is the place for a solid Bulgarian meal. Fantastic starters.

Reasonably priced establishment in Old Plovdiv. They had English menus. Stopped by to get a Three of Clubs and a veal knuckle dish. Portions were ample and this appetizer and main was enough for two. Pretty tasty. Attentive staff.

I like to eat there when visiting Plovdiv. Always the result is better that expectations. Not very expensive, fast service, good food.

Excellent service. The woman who served us spoke Spanish all the time! She was really nice. The place is cool and the food was delicious and so good. We ordered the stews and then the mixed skewers. The bread was warm and delicious. The courgette fried were a must have. I highly recommend this place!

Average food, okay but nothing special. We ordered the chicken dish but the chicken was hard to find, and the pieces we found were overcooked, hard and dry. Red wine was stored in the fridge, would've been better around room temperature. The lady who served us was friendly and spoke English, but was alone and had to wait the entire restaurant. The loud 'club' music drove us away as soon as we finished our meal. Prices were reasonable. Dinner and desert for two person, a whine and a water for little over 20 euros.

Not recommended. I had lunch here in October, 2022, with five friends. We had a reservation, and the place was not busy when we arrived, about 2 pm. I ordered the caprese salad and a dish of chicken on a bed of orzo, in what was supposed to be cream sauce. The tomatoes were hard and had no flavor. The supposed basil sauce was green, but had no flavor at all. The orzo was overcooked to the point that it was nearly mush, and the supposed "cream" sauce tased more like a mix of oil and flour. The chicken bits were leathery and difficult to chew. The service was slow and erratic. Everyone's dishes arrived at different times. One couple in our group received their main dish after everyone had eaten. For dessert, I ordered a scoop of chocolate ice cream, which was fine. The others decided to share a special dish of some kind of thin pancakes, recommended for several people. The server told us it would take 20 minutes. We had a train to catch, but we still had time, so they ordered the dessert, and asked that the bill be brought right away. After 30 minutes, someone in the group asked again, and the server appeared startled, and said something like, "oh, yes," and went inside. After 40 minutes we finally got the bill, but not the dessert, and saw that we had been charged for the dessert (which had never arrived.) We stood up to leave, as we now had just enough time to return to our hotel for our bags and get to the train station. We said that the dessert should be removed from the bill. As we were on our feet, the dessert finally appeared. I don't know if it was any good, and I don't plan to return and find out.

Really nice atmosphere and great food! My partner and I had a wonderful time here. We had the Caesar salad, Rose tomatoes with buffalo cheese salad and the Roasted potatoes with cheddar cheese and everything was wonderful. If you are wandering around the Old town it's a great spot for a nice dinner!

The food was tasty and we had a great time there.

The person serving was friendly and the salad was good otherwise not a good lunch. Fries with cheese were overcooked so too crispy to be enjoyable, like crisps. The calamari was inedible, rubbery and had a strong smell, very disappointing overall.

The place seems nice, but the food and service is very poor. They took around an hour to serve us 3 plates and the place was almost empty. About the food, the meat was good but the potatoes were cold. Besides they forget one of the 3 plates we ordered. Highly not recommendable.

It's okay restaurant with traditional Bulgarian dishes done not so well. The ambience is also okay. There are many in the old town too to. Price is slightly higher compared to similar restaurants in that area. Service was good they understand English too.

We struggled to find good, affordable traditional Bulgarian food in the heart of Plovdiv - the area has gentrified recently, and most establishments offer up more fine dining style meals. However, on our final night we discovered Citizen's Club, which is a hidden gem of a Bulgarian restaurant. All the food we tried was delicious local fare, including a wonderful Shopska salad and amazing tender grilled lamb and vegetables. They have a great selection of Rakia as well! Highly recommend if you're searching for genuine Bulgarian food in Plovdiv's Old City.

Portions are large, and prices are good. Food is from Bułgarian cousine. It's tasty, and good looking. Workers are not always fluent English speakers, but they're communicative and there are no issues with placing orders.

We stumbled upon this restaurant while near the Ancient Theatre. They have signs nearby but easily missed as it's an art centre too. We came primarily for salad (Premier and Greek) but also indulged in the potato dish patatnik. I'm glad we did. The salads were so fresh and tasty all the cheeses were delicious.

If you are in Plovdiv, I highly recommend this place! Great foodand, the staff are friendly. I also recommend the traditional dishes.

Wonderful space with a good ambient, good quality food, not specially high prices (for the location) and a quick and nice waitress. Definitely one of the best places I know in Plovdiv, in a privileged spot in the old town, just next to an art gallery. A charming bar/restaurant to go back, totally recommend!
