Terrific viewpoint towards the city, a must for all who are visiting the Old Plovdiv. Restaurant is just nearby.

Superb location, extraordinary décor, a history remaining in well-maintained time. You can reach if you follow indicators. It is worth to visit quietly in symbiosis with the city's architecture. Interesting, amazing all the history of this location. Bravo to the authorities and those who take care of this location.

Nebet Tepe means watch tower in Turkish and these architectural remains are indeed located on a hill that overlooks the city and offers great views. The archeological findings can be seen in the Archeological Museum. Human life can be traced here to the fourth millennium BC but most of the place consists of Roman ruins rather poorly preserved. It's great for taking pictures at sundown

Fantastic place to explore or to climb and watch the sunsetting over the mountains. There is a great view of the Old Town of Plovdiv.

We enjoyed coming here for the historical significance and views of the areas, though there was a lot of construction happening at the moment.

It was really windy up there, but on one side you can see the city centre, on the other socialist neighbourhoods, and in the distance a snowy mountain range. Contrast at its finest. The hike is rather easy.

A good spot high up in the old town from which to view the city, with a few scattered ruins. If they better preserve their historical heritage, it would be ideal.

Wonderful and hard to find part of the history of Plovdiv. Access is complex and the paths and stairs are ‘rustic’ and a bit overgrown, but accessible for someone who is fit. You can approach from the old town area on a more gentle gradient over cobbled streets. The site is very old and I could not find any interpretation of maps on site. Vies are spectacular and in the early morning it’s a great place for contemplation.

Authentic, relaxing, unique, well maintained. It is a must when you visit Bulgaria and Plovdiv. Here you can see the old Bulgarian style, you can buy authentic hand made scarfs, jewelry, clothes, paintings and many more. The view on top of the tepe is very nice, you can see the ancient Roman theater and the great houses around the Old town.

1 of the original 7 hills where Plovdiv city was found 6,000 years ago. Nebet tepe is a must see place when in Plovdiv. Many exotic restaurants and pubs on the way. 5 min walk from ancient theatre and stadium. Scenic and hub for photo taking people. Good view of city from the top of hill. Can be accessed quite easily

Scenic panoramic view of Plovdiv from this ancient site. It is insane that historic ruins pepper this city, just hanging out casually on sidewalks. I feel like it is so weird stepping on rocks that were first placed there from way back when.

(Translated by Google) Apart from the fact that there are incredible views of the city and the Maritsa River, but in clear weather you can see the Rhodopes and the Balkan Mountains ..... But unfortunately the place is not very well maintained (not very clean), and the signs signs are old and worn or missing ... And from here began the history of the oldest and most important settlement in Europe (another 4-3 thousand BC from the time of the Stone - Copper Age. Then inhabited by the Thracian Bessi tribe, city of Philip of Macedon) .... I think that efforts should be made to maintain the place better.
