I would recommend this monument and the views to any of Plovdiv’s visitors.

Fantastic 360° views of the city and Rhodopi Mountains. The climb to the top is also enjoyable, past mini cacti, wildlife and plenty of birds including swallows and eagles! Make sure you wear good footwear though, and probably not suitable for those who are a bit unsteady on their feet.
