Lauta park is one of the largest parks in Plovdiv. It has developed and paved walkways as well as dirt paths. Plenty of space for a long stroll or a family picnic at one of the several BBQ grills. Lots of benches to rest on, food trucks serving good food and beverages. It is early spring and the landscaping crews are out planting new trees and grass and clearing old dead wood. Easy parking can be found around the park but especially to the SW. Or…it is a short walk from the Mall, Metro, or Technopolis, which are across the street. Spend a couple of hours in this lovely park!

The park has been improving significantly for the past few years. The infrastructure was renovated and some nice kids playgrounds were built. Runnig tracks are quite good.I would also love to see the grass regularly mown so it looks better in general and I hope it's gonna happen someday.

This is a nice local park. You need to understand the Bulgarian mentality, about this park. First I thought it wasn't very well kept when someone explained it to me that Bulgarians like nature to be nature not some altered and man made park. Great playground for kids also !

Chill small park which is definitely quite cooler that the rest of the city in the summer. For the kids you have cable tree park. Good playgrounds. BBQ area, good booths for snacks and gelato. For recreation - free table tennis, two callisthenics areas one conventional and the other more boxing oriented. Smooth asphalt alleys which lets the children ride skateboards, longboards, snakes, etc…

Good place for biking and running! It could be clearer and enriched with lighting, fountain and children's attractions!

The park is a definitely overrated. It does have some BBQ spots here and there and also some walking/running alleys but that's all. A big part of the park is entirely neglected and not maintained at all. Going there at night can be a fairly scary experience, considering that there's public lighting only beside the alleys - the rest of the park is more like a jungle and you have to carry an electric torch with you at all times. Overall, it's an okay place if you ignore those 3/4 of the park that look like a wilderness.
