The efect of the balcony at about 1500m, hundreds of meters above the forest and the nearby towns is probably what a real eagle would see, so it is a well named place. You can go walking or by jeep, and then you don't want to go back!

Great spot, easy to walk, don't take jeep, like 1 hour from hotel Mursal, in village Qgodina 😀

Nice hike but quite steep. You will probably need 2-3 hours for a return trip, depending on how fast you go and how much time you spend at the top. There is no shadow so wouldn't recommend hiking up the mountain on a hot summer day. The trail starts behind the Mursal Hotel, it's impossible to miss it.

Outstanding place with a breathtaking view. Eagle's Eye could be reached by taking the path starting from Mursal hotel. An alternative way is to take off-road which is longer but smoother. It takes approximately 1 hour to reach the top. The feeling on this projecting platform is amazing as it overlooks the whole valley.

Absolutely loved this place!! Perfect way to end a day filled with adventure. I was on my way to Yagodina cave, when the guys with the Jeeps pulled me over to ask if I want a lift to go up. First time I heard of the place but I declined the offer as I had other plans. I later found out there is an actual trail from Yagodina village that leads all the way up. I am super active and love to hike, so this was the better option for me. It took me about 40 mins to go up (I walk fast) and the views were absolutely stunning! Whether you decide to Jeep it up or hike to the top, you will not be disappointed! Reminds me a bit of Angel’s Landing at Zion National Park

Perfect view over a vast area worth the climb up by car or hiking is even better

Wonderful view from the top. You can hire a jeep to bring you there as you cannot go with a normal car. The way is 6km, the weather was good but a bit rainy so it took us like hour and a half to go and return. Then managed to visit the Yagodina cave with the last entrance wich is at 16:15. The jeep prices are 50-80lv depending on the company you choose and for up to 6 people. We took this time a Land rover guy for 80lv and it was much more pleasant then the last time when we took another car which had hard seats..

It's one of the best off-road mountain rides I had and ending with a magnetic view from the Rodopi mountain.

Getting to the place is required using the locals' off-road vehicles. A little jumpy but worth the effort. Breathtaking view

Amazing off-road experience with a buggy car while climbing to the hill.Locals are friendly offer decent services if you decide to save roughly 2 hours of climbing (tour by feet).

Breathtaking panorama from about 1500m high. A platform allows to be right up in the sky over the precipice. Can be accessed by foot by fit people from Hotel Mursal in about 40-70 minutes. Or with a jeep from Yagodina village, directly at the village or along the road and the caves. The jeep experience wasn’t a tourist trap at all. It’s a 1 hour journey through steep rugged landscape and infinite wow views, best experienced standing up at the back. Normal price is 70-80 leva, sometime negotiable, well worth it!

40 minute climb from the outskirts of Yagodina. Leave the car at the Mursal hotel and take the path up the hill. A somewhat strenuous hike but worth it. Great view of the mountains.

Nice view but the fact motor vehicles are allowed up there makes the hike stressful

Orlovo Oko (Eagle's Eye) This magnificent sightseeing spot reveals stunning views of the gorge and the nearby villages, as well as the Bulgarian and Greek mountains and peaks all around.

Lovely views from top. Walked up and down the trail which starts behind hotel Mursal. It is a bit intense going up. Took about 2 hours of average walking speed for both ways. There is a bench on top to sit and enjoy the stunning views. Walking out on the little bridge thing made my feet shake but it was an amazing feeling. Definitely recommend doing the trail by foot entirely. It is a great workout and a great alternative to the jeeps option.
