Absolutely amazing hotel in a great location for exploring Plovdiv! We had a wonderful time there. The location is fantastic, very central with all the sights within walking distance. The staff was so nice, attentive and helpful. Our room was very spacious, clean, comfortable and very well designed. Breakfast provided everything we needed and was very tasty. The best place to stay in Plovdiv! And one of the best hotels I've ever been to. Highly recommend and will definitely be back.

Beautiful guest house, just on the edge of the old town. Greeted by Salve, the most cheerful, helpful man we encountered on our entire stay in Bulgaria. The location is fantastic, old building, with gorgeous interior decor. Easy walking distance to old town, park, shops and restaurants/bars. Our room, with large balcony overlooking the old Street at the rear. The only one with balcony on that side. The entire place was so clean, pretty, beautifully maintained, daily maintenance of the outside areas and the room. Could not fault, One of the best places I think I've ever stayed in.

Possibly the best accommodation and customer service in Plovdiv. It tastefully integrates traditional Bulgarian architecture with sleek modern amenities. The rooms are clean, stylish, and comfortable and the breakfast is a delicious combination of traditional Bulgarian and Continental food. My personal favorite are the pancakes. Staff and management made us feel at home every time we stayed there.

We stayed in Hill House back in October 2021, apologies for my belated review. We choose to stay in Hill House Plovdiv whenever we can because it is quite simply superb! The quality of everything (rooms, furnishings, cleanliness, friendly staff, breakfast etc. etc.) is literally wonderful!!! The owner, and everyone in his team, is super friendly and helpful! The Wi-FI is extremely fast! The rooms are spotless! This place is faultless! Oh, the location is perfect too!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

I would write 2 reviews if it was possible to give Hill House 10 stars out of 5! Staff is very hospitable and very family oriented. Spacious rooms with beautiful view of Kapana neighborhood and the mountains at the distance! Location is prefect, between the center and foothill of the old town. Comfy beds and delicious breakfast.

Superb place to stay in an ideal location near everything worth visiting. The staff is top: sympathetic, helpful and kind, bravo! The room (with terrace) was clean, bright, very comfy and well decorated. Suggestions by the staff for restaurants was on-spot.

A lovely family hotel! The rooms are spacious and bright, nicely furnished and stylish, comfortable and very clean! The service is excellent and the hotel owner is very kind and friendly, and always willing to help. The breakfast is delicious. The location is also perfect - right in the Centre of the city, close to the historical sights in the Old Town and also next to the Kapana district with all the restaurants, cafes and bars. We highly recommend it and we will come back to HillHouse anytime when we are visiting Plovdiv.

Absolutely stunning building and amazing location to plovdiv and the old town. Had the room with balcony and defiantly worth it. Everything immaculate and even mini bar was reasonable prices. Good breakfast options too. Lovely guesthouse , will definatly stay here again next time we visit.

We spent wonderful time at HillHouse. The hotel is perfectly situated in the city center. The room was spacious, extremely clean and very nicely decorated. Everything went smoothly - from the reservation until the assistance with finding a parking spot. The staff was very professional and kind. The breakfast was also very good. In general we enjoyed our stay a lot.

Amazing hotel, in a great location. Everything is among 5 minutes walk. The rooms are extremely clean. The mattresses very comfortable, the breakfast is fresh and the breakfast room is wonderful. The people at the reception are friendly, always willing to help, speak good english and can help you with restaurant reservations etc. We loved our stay!

Wow!!! This is the most well-ran boutique hotel that we have been to in Bulgaria so far (we have been to Varna, Veliko Tarnovo, Sofia, and Burgas). The experience started with the owner’s assistance in getting us a parking spot. To our surprise, the owner (Salava) met us at the pedestrian street entrance, led us to his car, and gave us his parking spot. This saved us the time and energy of looking for a spot when we had only 15 mins buffer to make it to the walking tour. Now on to the room itself. It was so well designed and very functional. The soundproofing was excellent, and we had a very restful stay. The breakfast buffet was nutritious with tons of selection. The staff was excellent in refilling the buffet. Everything about the hotel was very well thought out. The hotel lobby was beautiful, the hotel manager Maria was helpful, and the location was perfect! There is nothing not to like about this hotel. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable stay in Plovdiv.

Perfect place for vacation in Plovdiv. It is exactly in old town, among museum and expositions and 5/10 minutes walking to Kapana. The rooms are perfect and clean, breakfast is included. Reception very nice and available for informations and help.

An exceptional place to stay in Plovdiv. Great staff, location and facility! We liked literally everything! Starting with the welcome, the personal touch and friendliness (special thanks to Slavi and the rest of the staff). The wonderful apartment and the location, right in the city center. Close to almost all sights of the city and in the area with all types of restaurants and establishments. I have been to the city before, but this time I will definitely remember it and I even already have a starting point for the next times we will visit Plovdiv.

This is a beautiful hotel in a prime location in Plovdiv. From HillHouse, it’s very convenient to visit all the touristic sights on foot. We had a spacious, clean, and comfortable room. The shower was fantastic. The room was nicely decorated and created a relaxing atmosphere. The breakfast buffet is extensive with lots of options to choose from. The staff at the hotel is very helpful and welcoming. We also met the owner, a fantastic person with a big heart and a great smile. HillHouse is 2min walking from the Kapana neighborhood with its many funky restaurants and bars. If HillHouse Plovdiv is available, do not look further. This boutique hotel is a gem. I look forward to staying there again on my next trip to Plovdiv.

Great location of the boutique hotel, clean and beautifully decorated and tastefully renovated old Plovdiv house. Rooms are clean, modern , bathrooms are impeccable. Breakfast is very well set with everything you need to get your juices flowing in the morning. Staff is amazing and really caring for what they do. Will definitely go back. Greg
