This hotel is very well situated in the city and the hotel’s general areas and bedrooms were very well presented and really clean. The beds were super comfortable and the hotel was very quiet. But my main reason for leaving a review is to remark on the service and in particular the front desk staff member called Maria. Apart from very friendly reception, she also kindly kept our bags for us for the day after we had checked out. When walking in the city, we got caught in a torrential downpour and were completely soaked to the skin. All our clothes and shoes and bags were wet when we returned to the hotel to collect our bags that evening. Even though we had checked out that morning, Maria offered us facilities in which to dry off and change our clothes and wait it out until the rain finally stopped. We were really grateful, especially as we had our two children with us. As we weren’t leaving Plovdiv (on the train) until midnight, another staff member allowed us to leave our luggage at reception once again until we were leaving town. We were really impressed by the service of Maria and all the staff and we highly recommend this hotel.

Definitely Not a 4 star hotel - when entering, a strong smell of cigarettes welcomes you, the rooms also stink of cigarettes!!! We insisted to change our room because of this. FYI - Smoking is illegal in Bulgarian hotels. There is no shampoo, conditioner, slippers or safe in the rooms. We had a room with balcony, which was totally useless, because there was no table with chairs to sit and relax, but there was an ashtray with the hotel's logo. The corridors smell of dust and stale air, and the doors and walls are so thin, you can here a normal conversation from next room. There is no convenient place to stop in front of the hotel. The king size bed - it consists of two single beds. The only positive thing - the staff is nice and responsive. If you can - avoid it!

Stayed here for a night after missing my flight. This is a good value hotel, with a convenient location close to the train station. The rooms are clean and spacious. I arrived hungry at around 9pm; the restaurant was still open (it serves food until 10pm), and offered good reasonably priced food.

Strange hotel. You have to put the duvet cover on yourself. Bed is soft and you can feel the metal springs in the mattress. Water pressure is tricky. Bathroom setup is awkward in some rooms, you have to climb into your bathtub which is set up in a closet kind of. Room has desk but not a single chair. Has large sofas though and quite big. AC won't come on until you closes all your windows. Hotel staff are downright rude.

The room was poorer than the it seemed on online booking platforms. The room wasn't getting enough of air and sun light. Their cook was just unwilling to serve for people, it was ridicilous. Every penny we spent here is a waste in our eyes.

Priced great. Really friendly room service and staff. Easy access for handicap. If wheelchair bound you should request special room.

Very clean and cozy hotel. For 4 star hotel I would expect that there is shampoo, balsam, slippers ect., but there was only a shower gel and toilet paper in bathroom. When traveling for work, i fly only with hand baggage so I expect that toiletries will bee there.. But overall room was good, it was big and air conditioning was working, so good hotel for the price..

we only had one day in Plovdiv. We came with the night train from Istanbul and left at night to Sofia. We needed a place for our suitcases. Hotel Alliance was the first hotel we saw. The guy at the reception was super nice. He stored our luggage with helpful pleasure. We had a great day in Plovdiv. At night when we got our luggage we met another guy at the reception. He was also very friendly. They made our day. Best start in the day.

Everything was wonderful. Excellent reception service. Very good location, close to the center of Plovdiv. The shower in the bathroom was not working well, spraying water all over the place.
