Had a great stay at Family Hotel At Renaissance Square. Nice and clean room and perfect location with walking distance to the old city and to the pedestrian zone. The host is super nice, helpful and made a great breakfast for us. He even helped us get to the train in time. Recommended with all my heart!

This boutique hotel was the perfect stay in Plovdiv. Manager was brilliant and very welcoming. The antiques and hand painted wall/ceiling ornaments added personality to each room! Breakfast each morning was home made and the coffee was delicious. Parking was convenient and every old city destination was within walking distance.

The hotel was much more than we expected! Dimitar (The Hotel owner) made our vacation much more enjoyable. Made us feel at home and took care of every aspect of her vacation, from transportation to and from the airport to taking care of us for a trip to Plovdiv with a great tour guide in his own right. Without a doubt, this is a place we will return to and of course we will recommend it to anyone who is considering a visit to Plovdiv. Absolutely awesome family-hotel! The building of the hotel is pretty old but properly maintained - the result is a fantastic rooms, decorated as palace apartments (see pictures attached). Staff is nice and helpful. 5 min walk from central street of restaurants and shops.

Fantastic host, Dimitar, thank you for your hospitality and the lovely homemade banitza at breakfast. A unique experience to sleep in a historic place on a comfortable bed!

My wife and I have stayed in this hotel on three separate occasions during trips to Plovdiv, each time for several nights. We have always found it to be a very comfortable stay and a very welcoming staff. I can't imagine a good reason to stay elsewhere in Plovdiv. In addition to being impeccably clean and well-maintained, the location could not be better. The Kapana, center for nightlife and daytime cafes, is just a 10-minute walk away. It is easy to walk to several nearby historic sites, as well. The rate includes a prepared breakfast each morning, always delicious. And there is a small attached cafe for coffee and beverages open daily. All this, and the price is amazing. This is a near-perfect stay in a beautiful city. I highly recommend your staying here when visiting Plovdiv.

[stayed here twice in July 2021] Great location at the base of the hill that most of Plovdiv’s Old Town is situated on. Comfortable parking right in front with round the clock supervision. Beautiful, spacious rooms. Clean. Tasty breakfast featuring something local. Last but not least, Dimitri - great host, very knowledgeable and willing to share relevant info - sights, eateries, events, local politics or even the adventures of building a hotel in a historical place. Highly recommended!

Great location!! Small boutique hotel nestled in on the edge of the Old Town, tastefully done in traditional "old town "style and very clean. Delicious home made breakfast served every morning. The owner Mitko is the best host you can have, always in a good mood ,very friendly and extremely helpful !

Beautifully restored old Plovdiv house, the owner, Mitko, is very hospitable and helpful. Breakfast is so-so, look for fresh banitsa and good espresso elsewhere...

To tell you the truth the best manager I have ever seen in a hotel for a very long time. His name is Dimitar. He was very helpful to us. He was our guide for Plovdiv. He knows all the good restaurants and also all the places to visit. The room that we stayed was very quite and big. The room and the bathroom were very clean. Hot water in the shower was excellent. There is free and reserved parking spaces for the guests. There is traditional Bulgarian breakfast in the morning from 8 to 10 AM included to the price of the room. Very good location. You do not need a car or a taxi in order to go to the fair area (10 minutes walking) or the best restaurants ( 5 to 10 minutes by walking). The hotel is located in the corner of old town Plovdiv. But for the ladies do not wear high heels while walking in the old town as the roads are Roman stones. It is very difficult to walk :)). Best choice in Plovdiv. Thanks a lot. We will visit again whenever we will go to Plovdiv again. Thank you Dimitar it was pleasure to meet with you and stay in this hotel.
