We planned to stay one night and we thought it was quite good (aside from the strange red LED strips around the ceiling that you could only dim and not switch off) and checked out the following morning. Unplanned, we had to stay another night, we returned and were given the same room. Jokingly, we wondered if they had changed the sheets, and checked whether a small blood stain from shaving would still be there. Unfortunately, it was. It made us wonder how many other people had used the same sheets. Maybe ask for fresh sheets if you still want to stay there!!

Very good location and price. The room is very big and clean, with TV and a nice balcony.

Dirt, dust and cracked walls. They dont throw away the rubbish bin and claim that have free parking and blowdryers- they didnt have . The staff is polite but they dont take actions when other guests disturb your peace. I do not recommend

The location is perfect, only a 5 minute walking distance to the start of the old town. The street also provides free public parking. The room was amazing and looked and felt beyond what we expected. We met the the staff only once, since we didn't stay long, but they were helpful, altough not that great with English and smiling. Overall, great value for the money.

Just in reply to the Hotel’s response to my partner’s review above, we did not plan to stay a second night, had checked out and left the city, but due to a change of circumstances returned to Plovdiv and stayed at Venus Hotel because we had done the night before. There is NO way that they knew we were returning, as even we didn’t. (Original review commented that sheets weren’t changed between guests)

Dear Mr, this is a respond from Venis House Plovdiv. We want to inform you that you had planned to spend two nights here, and the sheets are supposed to be changed on the second night in every hotel (even on the third one in some hotels). And also about the fact that you were thirsty at night, there is a 24 hour shop next to the hotel also some reastaurants nearby. The hotel is not obliged to serve you a mini-bar.

Very clean and cosy apartment, comfortable bed and friendly personal. No elevator and no breakfast but 3min walk and you find very delicious bakery shop!

The staff was very polite. It wasn't very clean, there wasn't any utensils.

The room had everything what you need for a stay. Unfortunately the WiFi signal was very week on the second floor and was a bit useless.Good for short stay.

Okay service, good location as it is close to city center. Room was even bigger than it seems on picture (put better pictures). A bit of an odd smell sometimes and in the bathroom water stays in the middle of bathroom after taking shower so you have to step around it all the time. At least put rug or something so people can remove that water after showering.

Friendly staff and excellant location. It's about 2 blocks from the main pedestrian area of the city. WiFi works well, some cable TV channels in English. Room is clean, price is amazing!
