    A must visit for anyone staying in or even passing through the area. A beautiful hotel hidden within the old town of Plovdiv in an Old Bulgarian Renaissance building, sporting a quiet and romantic restaurant with live music and delicious food. The staff is friendly and professional and the chef made us the most delicious pork breasts that I cannot recommend enough. Came here for a date on a recommendation from a friend and it's safe to say I will be a returning customer any time I'm in the area.

    Having stayed at Hebros many times, it felt like home to return. But each time I notice more acutely what makes it feel like home—except more exquisite. Even before arrival, the receptionist, was extremely helpful via email in reserving the nicest room and my favorite one, at the best price. Upon arrival I was met by the friendly receptionist on duty. The team is always helpful in selecting the right room and organize my stay in utmost details as I have asked kindly by email. making sure that everything is good. I highly recommend this hotel! The food and service at the restaurant is at its best! The deserts were great!

    Lovely location, the rooms are authentic and the cedarwood aroma was all around. The receptionist woman was very pleasant and polite. The server in the restaurant ( at dinner and lunch) was lovely and very attentive. Breakfast buffet is rather simple, but does the job.:)

    Tourist trap vibes. The rooms are nothing special for the price.

    This review is only about the “modern double room” which is not actually located inside the historic property of the hotel, it’s right around the corner closer to the highway in a separate building. Pros: Location in Old Town, quaint garden, nice towels, decent bed. Cons: The apartment above us was rented out to young men, who were drunk, disorderly, smoking, and incredibly loud until 3am. At one point in the morning, we went back to the room after breakfast to grab something and we had the door open a crack because we were going right back out, and one of the guys opened it and tried to look around in our room. Worst of all, the door to room was half fogged glass, which did not feel safe, especially with what felt like drunk hooligans above us. The bathroom: It’s small, which is not a problem, but there’s no real shower curtain or wall to keep the water from going everywhere, so when you’re done with your shower you’re staying in pools of water because the floor isn’t built correctly to allow for drainage. I’m sure maybe the rooms in the main hotel are fine, but this was a terrible experience, and wouldn’t take the chance and stay here again. For the price it just wasn’t worth it, especially with other boutique hotels in the area which are much better.

    If you are searching for a unique time in the Old Town of Plovdiv, then you should visit and stay in Hotel Hebros. For me, the experience and atmosphere were unforgettable and amazing! Also, the beautiful architecture and design of the hotel were extraordinary!

    The hotel is in an authentic old house with extraordinary furniture typical for Bulgarian Reneissance period. The staff is friendly and kind. The towels are so soft and fluffy, it was a pleasure. The breakfast is OK.

    Really nice hotel with lovely old furniture in the centre of Plovdiv. It's like a timetravel.Because of the old and narrow streets it's not easy to get there. Parking is kind of tricky, because the street is steep. But once you get there, I'm sure you will enjoy your stay.

    Luxury boutique hotel in the heart of the Old Town Pros: perfect location, in the heart of the Plovdiv Old Town; very kind & helpful staff; nice accomodation with two separate bedrooms (room no. 4, main building); staying here means experiencing a National Revival mansion first hand; quality and plentiful toiletries; very nice shared balcony at the 1st floor; very good breakfast; very good pricey restaurant (salmon dish, huge wine list); free public parking; Cons: very poor free wi-fi (upload was a disaster); heat was not working in the master bedroom, and in the other one was very noisy; shower cord and curtain need replacement; ugly light bulbs - they should be replaced with LED candle shaped ones, to fit in the ancient athmosphere;

    Loving care. Seriously, I accidentally left my wallet and they washed all my cash and credit cards. They scolded me for being "not so secure" but took care of me and every dollar was returned. The restaurant is intimate and warmed by a central fireplace. My favorite hotel ever in all of Europe- and the $99/night cost didn't hurt either.

    Fine dinning restaurant with few daily entries in menu but very well prepared. Very tasty food and very professional staff! Historical place.

    It used to be great. Now is just bad. Really sorry for the venue. Update: A year later it just got worse!

    Very good food, courteous service, stylish interior with mainstream-type jazz in the background.

    Great location right in the old town, staying in the hotel allows you to drive in through the pedestrian barrier and park out side the hotel but don't follow Google maps for this- it doesn't understand. The hotel email a set of instructions that allow you to get there which is very useful. The rooms are big and spacious and the hotel is very old and the decor in keeping with the style and history of the old town. The rooms were very warm which meant we slept with the windows open but this resulted in mosquitoes coming in in the night. The hotel staff were fine- didn't really see much of them. I recommend this hotel if you are looking for a authentic old town experience but due to the age and style of the hotel you will have to be prepared for it not being quite as luxurious as other newer hotels.
