Very beautiful house from outside and inside. You can feel the history written all over it. All historical houses in Koprivshtica are nice, but this one was my favorite.

This is one of the most breathtaking and beautiful houses I have ever seen. Its iconic front facade is extraordinary and fascinating and the fact that this house is build in 1854 is mind blowing. The garden in front is well maintained and creates calm and relaxing atmosphere. I loved the interior of the building because of its specific wall paintings. An intriguing history surrounds the family that owned the house. Also a good feature is that its part of a museum tour which contains several other iconic houses of other famous Bulgarian revolutionaries. It is a must see and I strong recommend visiting it!!! Date of experience: April 2022

Beautiful house and fittings. Particularly liked the woollen exhibits, rugs and blankets etc. Colours of the paintwork inside are original, apparently.

This is my husbands family home. We visited in 2000. He had not been to Bulgaria since he escaped in 1982 with his parents via Libyan oil company in Tripoli followed by stays in Rome & Mannheim.
