One of the central squares of Klaipeda, which featured a carousel and a Christmas tree in late December. At night the area was well trafficked and felt quite safe.

It is the central place of the city or otherwise the heart of Klaipeda. Very spacious and historic but on weekdays it’s hard to hear the heartbeat of this place.

Klaipeda is normaal a heen is toen with ferries to Zweden abd germany. During the festival the city is very lively with big crowds if people and a lit of stalls that sell food and almost other kinds of stuff

Nice central market square. Feels a bit small yet cozy. Many restaurants around it. Recommend. Very close to theater, Ferry.

It’s main square of the city. Nice, beautiful and quiet. Square is big and there a a lot of restaurants around.

It's a bustling and a vibrant area. Loads of fantastic cafés, restaurants and places to visit, including an amazing Amber museum with a wide selection of designs and creativity! Most designs are for sale, also they have a section for books of photography about Lithuania. Amber which is for sale are certified and high quality. Me self bought a dainty pendant with a nice black cord to to go with.

We watched the Jazz concert there for a couple of hours and it amazing!

Was a Sunday. Most of the city was closed down but there was a ring of local merchants here pedaling tourist fare. Make sure to barter. Initial prices were pretty steep.

Beautiful old buildings. Lovely cobblestone streets. Great restaurants, very affordable.

One of the main spots of Klaipeda, heart of the old town, quite a nice open place, however there is usually not much happening there. Some souvenir stands for tourists most of the time. Some concerts, Sea Festival and Christmas time brings action here.

In the square centre there is a monument of Anke Van Tharaw. She is the hero of a poem written by poet Simon Dach. The poem was written on the occasion of her marriage with Simon's friend in 1636 and had been set to music as a song by 1642. It is popular till nowadays among tradition cultivating Klaipedans.

Main square of the town. Definetly worth visiting for all. A couple of great coffee shops and restoraunts located there. Nice place to visit on winters too, when there is a Christmas tree.
