Fantastic and unique museum that takes you through the history of clocks 🕰️ ⏰ Starting from ancient clocks that utilised the elements like solar (sun for sun dials), water, fire and sand. I was amazed to discover that Egyptians were the first to create the sun dial and water clocks. You’ll see mechanical clocks, stopwatches, table clocks, pocket watches and even beautifully decorated Baroque and Art Nouveau clocks. Highly recommend it to learn more about the history of clocks, it’s fascinating 👍🏽👍🏽 The staff are also very friendly and will always help u find the clocks in the tablet audio guide 👍🏽👍🏽

An amazing museum) What a wonderful trip to a world history of clocks! The museum features exhibits of clock and watches from the past to the present times. Here you can see the device with the help of which people around the world tried to measure the time. You start with the examples of clocks in the Ancient East tradition and head for the next exhibition where strange examples of clocks are shown. Some of these clock and watches look like a real masterpiece! The collection of clocks from European countries are really fantastic! Moreover, there are a nice space to spend time with your children in the inner courtyard. You should take a picture there. The best time for visiting the museum is May because of the magnificent views in the courtyard. Don't overlook this incredible museum!

Really enjoyed this quirky, fabulous museum. Even the stained glass had references to time! Such a variety of clocks, from all over the world, telling the time in a myriad of ways. They are all well signed and displayed in such a beautiful building. Well worth a visit.

How can you not give this place 5 star. Could spend hours here and you'd notice every second thanks to all the clocks, although despite feeling like you've spent hours there, only a few minutes has past, A rare location where time stands still. Highly recommend

This was an excellent idea of visiting the Museum of Clocks. There is so much history behind the fact of telling the time. There is a lot to think about that the invention of clocks changed humanity in so many ways. I recommend giving it a try! 🤗

Nice and compact exposition to look at, first floor oriented to the history and evolution of watches or clocks in general, while upper floor is more colorful and shows off variety of styles, distinctive lighting touch added for this part of exposition. Overall lacks a more interactive approach and there could be better guidance or models to try out for younger visitors...

An absolute jewel in the crown of Klaipėda. Anyone visiting should definitely make time to come here. The minutes fly by, and your hands will be ticking back and forth with excitement! This museum caters to any any clock aficionado; whether your passion is Egyptian clocks, Grandfather clocks, or even just clocks that go on the wall! The Museum of clocks has it all.

Fantastic museum, interesting exposition and audio guide. But the guide could involve more items + some could be explained better. Overall a fantastic experience and great with kids! 🕰️

The museum itself plus minus OK. But... Dear Klaipeda municipality, building renovation is a must.

Amazing old-school museum, with squeky floor, wooden showcase panels, rich collection of various clocks with explanations. Very friendly staff members. We were offered audio guide, but we've decided not to use it. Highly recommended :)

It's a very beautiful museum. I've never seen another place in my life where there are so many watches. Here you can both see the watches, get information about the time, and spend time beautifully. I think the entrance price of the museum is cheap. This is a museum that absolutely everyone should come to.

The history of clocks is showcased quite well. The exhibition contains many different types of clocks and explanations on how they work. It's quite nostalgic for some visitors to find a room with late Soviet-time clocks which were given to the museum by those who live in the city.

Interior need renovation. Beautiful vitrage windows, nice inner courtyard, interesting exhibits. Some of exhibits borrowed from other museums and that's nice.

👍👍 One of the central squares of Klaipeda, which featured a carousel and a Christmas tree in late December. At night the area was well trafficked and felt quite safe.
