Saw John Williams and it was magnificent. I am temporarily disabled and access to the lower level for wait call tixs via elevator was great. But arrive early to beat the crowd. There is a restaurant in the venue. Bathrooms are available on each floor.

Kimmel Cultural Campus #LetsGuide Verizon Hall A Soulful Christmas Philadelphia was brimming with excitement and joy. From the entrance to box office to concessions and seating the staff were attentive and helpful. The seats were comfortable and aisle kept clear. The Christmas decorations were beautiful and production magnificent!

The sound in Verizon hall... I have seen a good variety of performances here from Orchestra up to the top balcony and the back of the space. The hall is shaped like the inside of a cello. Opened in 2001 and updated in 2010, the sound is impressive. Go see a show, large or small. Wow...

Beautiful venue! It's not ideal being in the middle of the overcrowded city where it costs a fortune to park, but everything else about it was super.

What amazing sound! It doesn't have the grandeur of some of Philly's older more lavish opera houses and theaters but the sound is impeccable and the design is clean and unobtrusive. I had the unforgettable pleasure of seeing the first ever Philadelphia Orchestra Pride Concert with Yannick Nézet-Séguin, Martha Graham Cracker and the Philadelphia Gay Men's Chorus. It was phenomenal and moving. I have seen the orchestra there before and Tori Amos twice I believe. It was a packed out and a free concert. So interesting to see how different the crowd is at a free orchestra concert. I loved it. It felt like seeing a Shakespeare play at the Globe theater.

We loved our performance here! The building is beautiful, and the orchestra was amazing!! The Muppet Christmas Carol performance is what brought us all the way from IL the week before Christmas. They did a fantastic job and it was such a special performance!

This was a spectacular experience. The whole building is beautiful and the Music Hall itself is incredible because it's like a building within a building. They built the Music Hall as a self-contained building within the larger building. The Acoustics were fantastic and the visuals were pretty good that the seats were a little uncomfortable after about an hour I was ready to stand up

One of the best concert halls in my experience - excellent sight lines, and as far as acoustics there's not a bad seat in the house. Wonderful place to see any performance, and exceptional place to see the Philadelphia Orchestra. The pipe organ is extraordinary, as well

I am a big fan of Kimmel Center! Had many great experiences seeing Broadway musicals but never had a chance to go to Philadelphia Orchestra. So this was my first time attending orchestra and it was amazing. My advise for those who think you don’t like classical music you should give it a try, it’s spectacular music! The venue itself looks great very beautiful and modern building inside and out, very clean. Definitely will be back for another performances.

Ive seen 3 performances so far, all of which have been spectacular. Tom (I'm unsure of his position) was extremely helpful and generous to our party of 7 this last performance and we are eternally grateful to him.

This was June 9, 2023 Girls High School graduation held in this magnificent room. My first time there. I'm on the 2nd tier, a proud alumna.

Fantastic, absolutely fantastic! The hall is comfortable with great views, and the Philadelphia Orchestra was top-notch. Their Glorious Sound of Christmas concert is a must when in Philly for the holidays!

Great music hall with great performances. Very modern look inside, while perfectly fitting in the historical neighborhood on the outside. Staff is friendly and helpful.

The Christmas show is not too be missed. Acoustics are next to perfect, and the selection of original and modern versions of Nutcracker If never heard before. The animated conductor was hilarious, and Santa playing the clackers to end the show was a special treat!

It was such a wonderful afternoon! I am so happy that the #ArtsAreBack !!! I visited the #ArtsLaunch2021 and got to see the Philadelphia Orchestra in person!!! They sounded better than ever. Great job to the Kimmel Center staff for checking ID, Vax, and mask requirements to keep us all safe!

We love the Verizon Hall. Our fabulous orchestra is there for the season. Every concert is a wonderful experience. The Speakers series offers important, smart people talking on important topics. There are many more programs throughout the year offering a variety of artistic programs.

We took our daughter to see the Philadelphia Orchestra play in Verizon Hall in April 2022. We parked at 1500 Locust and walked only a few blocks to the Kimmel Center. I preferred parking on Locust to avoid getting on Broad St. for the venue garage. They are still checking for ID and vaccination cards when you enter and require masks in the venue (as of this writing), but all went quickly and smoothly to get us in and seated. Verizon Hall is beautiful (as is all of the Kimmel Center). The ushers are at every level and help you find your seat easily. For listening to the orchestra play, there really isn't a bad seat, even way up in the back. We were on the third tier center section near the front, and had a good view of everything. The seats were a lot cheaper than others, and yet the music still sounded great!

Beautiful hall for Philadelphia to be proud of. Traveled down from NYC to hear Trifonov and the Phil Orch. Wonderful clear warm sound at reasonable price. Easy ride from 30th St Station. Nice way to spend a very cold Sunday afternoon in January.

Amazing venue! Great sound! Tier3 is good, but if you have vision issues at all you will want to be Tier2 or lower if you really want to see well. Philly Pops Christmas concert is an experience that needs to be seen to be believed. I had chills all night.

The sound is always great, no matter your seat location! We saw the orchestra perform classical music from Bugs Bunny, which was fantastic, and brought back find memories while creating new ones

Excellent music venue designed to mimic the shape of a violin. Multiple balcony levels offer a variety of viewing experiences but the building is all about the world renowned accoustics. Home of the Philadelphia Orchestra, you can enjoy many different varieties of music ranging from classical to experimental. I've yet to hear the magnificent and dominantly present pipe organ but look forward to it.

While I tend to love more old school elaborate architecture in theaters, I was still appreciated Verizon Hall's sleek look, and the beautiful organ! (Unfortunately hard to see in the picture) Our seats were up top and pretty far back, but the sound was excellent, and still a good view. What I really liked was the room between rows - unlike the old theaters, there was a good amount of space between rows (you didn't even have to stand up to let people by). I hope I get a chance to go back soon!

Carnival of the Animals was wonderful. It was my daughter's first orchestra experience and she loved it.
