If
I
could
give
2.5
stars
I
would
because
that’s
exactly
what
this
place
is
-
completely
average.
I’ll
do
my
best
to
cover
as
much
as
I
can
here
but
quite
frankly
I
have
a
lot
to
say
and
sadly
it’s
far
from
entirely
positive.
Location
The
location
of
the
park
itself
is
both
good
and
bad.
In
terms
of
driving
in,
as
Cornish
roads
go,
the
ones
leading
to
the
park
are
above
and
beyond
some
of
the
riskiest
I’ve
been
down
with
some
real
hairy
blind
corners.
I
appreciate
this
is
somewhat
not
a
mark
against
the
park
but
visitors
be
warned
you’ll
need
a
confident
driver
at
the
wheel.
For
those
looking
to
use
the
park
as
a
jumping
off
point
for
the
beach,
I’d
say
it’s
so-so.
If
you’re
able
bodied
and
without
youngsters
or
prams,
you
won’t
get
better
than
this
as
you’re
only
15
minutes
from
Crantock
beach
which
is
an
absolute
blessing
to
this
place
however
there
is
a
relatively
steep
climb
back
home.
For
those
less
fortunate
there
is
a
car
park
right
on
top
of
the
beach
but
it
does
mean
visits
will
cost
you.
Staff
An
interesting
one.
Didn’t
really
encounter
much
of
anyone
bar
the
occasional
person
walking
around,
but
those
we
did
were
exceptional.
The
two
fellas
running
the
on-site
shop
were
above
and
beyond
the
nicest
blokes
going
providing
some
brilliant
chit
chat
and
local
recommendations.
Not
much
else
to
say
-
bit
of
a
ghost
town.
Facilities
Ironically
I’ve
got
a
lot
to
say
about
this
considering
there
isn’t
much
to
write
about.
To
put
it
bluntly,
there’s
nothing
going
for
this
site.
The
arcade
is
roughly
6
machines,
half
of
which
were
out
of
service
when
we
ventured
in.
The
clubhouse
is
a
sorry
sight
-
the
bar
had
no
beer
on
tap
and
no
post
mix
due
to
an
undiagnosed
problem
with
the
system,
the
food
situation
seemed
to
change
on
a
daily
basis
as
to
whether
it
existed
or
not,
the
entertainment
was
only
seen
once
and
the
listings
on
the
walls
only
displayed
up
to
August
which
is
little
use
to
those
like
us
visiting
in
September
and
the
only
pool
table
is
nestled
cozily
into
the
end
of
the
room
with
one
of
the
pool
cues
frayed
at
the
end
so
badly
it
looks
like
an
exploded
Looney
Tunes
cigar.
The
chippy
was
overpriced
but
food
did
the
job
although
nothing
to
write
home
about,
would
use
it
as
a
last
resort
which
is
exactly
what
we
did.
The
on-site
shop
is
pretty
much
all
it
needs
to
be,
with
a
decent
selection
of
standard
items
that
is
a
tad
marked
up
in
price
but
to
be
expected
for
a
holiday
park
so
no
complaints.
Allegedly
there
is
a
mini
golf
in
the
park
but
it
must
be
exceptionally
tiny
because
we
couldn’t
see
it
anywhere
which
can
also
be
said
for
the
Costa
coffee
which
is
apparently
on
the
premises.
As
harsh
as
it
feels
to
say,
we’ve
left
here
feeling
as
though
the
site
was
falsely
advertised
and
wildly
over
exaggerated
what
it
had
to
offer.
Accommodation
On
a
positive
note,
the
caravan
itself
was
lovely.
It
was
just
the
two
of
us
plus
dog
so
plenty
of
space
which
is
handy
because
of
an
evening
it’s
where
we
often
found
ourselves,
twiddling
thumbs
and
puffing
our
cheeks
wondering
what
to
do.
All
in
all
a
very
comfortable
stay,
very
clean
and
tidy
on
arrival
and
absolutely
no
complaints
about
it.
I
could
go
on
and
on
but
I
think
I’ve
said
enough.
I
hope
the
managers
of
the
site
take
note
of
this
review
and
the
others
like
it,
of
which
I’ve
seen
plenty
of,
and
start
putting
the
money
back
into
improving
basic
things
people
have
come
to
expect
from
Park
Dean.
They’d
be
wise
to
acknowledge
there
is
far
better
for
far
cheaper
available
in
the
area.
