Staff were lovely, and very helpful. Food was incredible, i had the pork belly, mash potatoe, braised red cabbage and tender stem broccoli off the Christmas menu and it was all cooked to perfection, and a chocolate brownie the finish. Thourolly enjoyed myself!

Great little find after being out all day. Dog friendly, which is a bonus. Lots to choose from the menu and really reasonably priced. Service was good and food tasted great. If you're in the area, check this place out.

Great place for breakfast/brunch, good vibes and really tasty food. Ordered two breakfasts, eggs and drinks via the app which seemed easy to use and food came quickly. Took the dog in as well.

Couldn't of left any happier. Was greeted at the entrance with a smile and was told to sit wherever we liked. Ordered through our phones which makes things easier in my opinion. Quick service, well presented food and perfect temperatures. Will definitely be going again. Highly recommended the katsu chicken burger!

Found this gem of a place in Barnstaple. Fabulous atmosphere and decor, feels like your in a place in Italy. Great food, wonderful cocktails, friendly staff. Ideal for all ages to meet up with friends and family. Also got a great tan as I was sat outside bonus lol

Nice clean bar and restaurant, friendly staff at the door,very helpful. The food was good value for money. A busy place and you have to wait for tables sometimes. A nice place to stop if you are shopping.

Went here on Sunday 18/12/22 for a treat. Sadly disappointed. It looks really good from the outside. Nice and atmospheric. Same initially when we sat down inside. I was looking forward to an excellent lunch. The menu sounded really good and there were multiple things on the menu which would be tempting to most people. However, when we started to order, many of the things weren't available. And when the actual food arrived… It wasn't actually bad but "okay" is about the most positive thing I can say. I had a Christmas chicken burger which was reasonable, except for the pig in blanket, which was possibly the most pathetic thing I have seen on a plate for a while. My partner had the smashed avocado on toast, but despite the chilly being mentioned almost as an afterthought in the menu, it was too spicy for her to manage, so she effectively just ended up with a single slice of overcooked toast, costing over £10. Subsequent customers were getting turned away, so I wonder whether the restaurant had simply run out of food. Who knows…

The lounge series of resteraunts always seem to deliver good food and good service. I had philly cheeses steak ciabata and my wife had the bluberry pancakes. Had a nice pint of stout as well.

Came in for food and it was so tasty! Popped in today for a coffee and got some free shortbreads for waiting more than 10 mins for drink. Lil pooch got a treat too! Brilliant service and would highly recommend:-)

First time we have ever been and the photo says it all! Nothing left! Will definitely be going again. My Son had a kids pizza, Dad had Buger ,Mrs had a chicken sandwich thing😁 and had the tapes board! All lovely. And friendly staff too.

Eclectic decor and seating in a bar/cafe in the middle of the shopping area. Food and drinks are well prepared with fresh ingredients. Good place for coffee or lunch.

Have been to the Tarka often. Service slow this time despite not overly busy. Won't put us off going again. Wine was excellent and the food good, although flatbread presentation boring.

Love this place. Not sure how they do it but a huge choice of food cooked to such a high standard. Really nice atmosphere, helpful, polite staff, great choice of drinks including cocktails and homemade soft drinks. Even managed to get an extra sausage for the dog. Well worth the drive from where we were staying on holiday in Woolacombe. Oh and I forget to say great value. Can’t fault it.

So I was in Barnstaple for a long weekend and came in here Monday morning before heading off to Manchester. I have eaten at a few of the lounges and been impressed how ever this was the first to fail expections . Food was okay , few of the breakfast items was bad the bacon was far to crispy , eggs was crispy, other than that generally ok . My biggest problem was unattentive and quiet distant staff , we wasn't greeted when we came in and shown to a table which the sign at the door ask you to wait to be seated , then there was four staff stood around on the bar not doing very much but chatting and laughing rather loudly , when I asked for English mustard they Brought american over and I had to shoute to one of the to ask for the right mustard , we received no check back to see if our food was okay or to see if we need any more drinks etc. Was underwhelming and the staff wasn't up to the standard I have experienced in other lounges .

Came accrosd this place after a trip to the cinema. Town centre was dead so lovely to see this place stand out like a beacon. Freindly atmosphere and very casual as you find your own seat. Great bohemian decor and eclectic menu. Ordered food and drink at the table online and drinks and food arrived in a timely manor. We'll presented and tasty. One of the burgers had a pesto ingredient which was delivered to excess. We love pesto but not when it is smeared on like a thick jam. Barthst all excellent. Chip portions very small and a bit pricy but would come again.
