Wow! This was an evening we will never forget. This was one of many experiences we had on our month long vacation in the area and it was absolutely the best one! Totally worth every penny! The host was excellent, the class was very fun and the opera was wonderful! Who knew a group of strangers could have so much fun together and leave as friends! The whole experience was 5 stars. I highly recommend this to everyone! It’s been almost 3 weeks and we are still taking about it! Thank you!

My husband and I did this while on our 2-week honeymoon in Italy. This was definitely one of the highlights of our trip! Lucrezia was so friendly and helpful, the property was beautiful, the food we cooked was delicious, the wine was plentiful, and the opera singer was just phenomenal. What a way to spend our time in Tuscany. Highly recommend!

Opera in the Kitchen This was a wonderful event at so many levels. It gives the international traveler a way to connecting with fellow travelers from around the world in a comfortable, fun setting. Conversation flows easy as you prepare evening meal together under the guidance of an experienced chef, drink wine and eat together. Our group was interacting with one another as if they were old friends. This event made that possible in a unique way. The cooking class was top-notch, everyone on the team was polite and professional. After dinner we enjoyed wonderful opera selections accompanied by classical harpist. This event exceeded my expectations. It was very moving. I would highly recommend this anyone traveling in the area. Hats off to Lucrezia and her team.

We had an excellent experience. Very nice place. The host lucrezia and the chef Matteo was great. We don't like to cook, but the lessons was fantastic. They both gave us a family fill. We are recommending a lot. The garden very nice. You eat your dinner at the sunset. And after that you have the opera show at the patio

This is the most delightful, delicious experience! I’ve had the pleasure of cooking and dining with Lucrezia and Francesca and friends twice and I’m already looking forward to the next time! It’s fun, it’s authentic and it’s a must!!

Despicable behaviour. Date booked months in advance. Several days before we receive a message saying the primary man can’t perform the event so he will ‘get my cousin to do it for you’. We agreed. 2 days before: ‘we can’t do original date anymore’, ‘can you do tomorrow?’. We said sure, we will just quickly do our 9 hour drive south a bit more rushed than we had hoped. This morning, on day of event, we receive a message saying we can no longer do it as it’s overbooked. I mean what on earth? Avoid at all costs. Shocking shocking shocking. Unprofessional to the extreme. Ruined what was supposed to be the highlight of our trip.

This was our first time in Italy traveling from the US. One of us booked this experience through Airbnb and was working with the organizer of the experience. Unfortunately, my friend did not read all of the instructions and missed the detail of us being picked up for the experience, instead of us having to travel out there on our own. We ended up paying 80+ euros for a taxi there. When we arrived, the organizer was already at the front of the property and seemed very angry. She began yelling at us in front of other guests because we made the mistake (which we acknowledged) of booking transportation. We attempted to try to de-escalate things but there was no reasoning with the organizer. We understood the impact of our mistake, seeing that they had organized travel for us and other guests were waiting for us though we had booked our own travel. We were deeply sorry and even apologized to the other guests. What we really didn't enjoy was her tone and demeanor of the organizer, even after being apologetic. We did not feel welcome at the beginning of the event and even considered returning to Florence. I did not like how she spoke to all of us seeing that we are tourists. We don't know the area, and can make mistakes at time especially being in another country where we don't live. Nonetheless, the organizer did lighten up a little and we ultimately made and enjoyed delicious lunch. Part of me would recommend this experience to others visiting, but a part of me wouldn't because of how we were spoken to. Things to keep in mind with this experience: Make sure you keep at least 80-100 euros with you for travelling in and 80-100 euros out of the experience if you are in Florence.

I would highly recommend. Learned some new tips and had a great lunch. Pacing of the class made it fun and social.
