Visited today 23/5. I started surfing the West Coast in 1969, and CBR has always a regular 'must stop' for beach-goers heading home on Sunday and truckies who know good value food. Unfortunate that the Geelong Bypass has reduced passing traffic, but I will still make the detour and bring one back for 'wifey'. THE CBR BURGER (with the lot) IS SUPERIOR TO ANYTHING AROUND (including Melbourne) AND THEQUALITY IS RELIABLE. Real bun, great beef burger, egg, bacon, onion and all freshly made. Clean and comfy for dine-in and cheerful and prompt service even when busy.

Newly renovated, looks fantastic! Always friendly staff and service welcoming. The best food in Corio by far and includes a drive through for ultimate convenience. Their old school jaffles, steak sandwich, chicken burgers and parma’s are 5 star and great price. Coffee to go is great as well. Friendly service and our go to on the way to Geelong from Melbourne.

I thought I’d go through drive-through this morning grab myself a cup of coffee hoping that it would be better than most other things along the way. Noted there was a drive-through window at the back proceed to drive-through window. Was eventually greeted by someone who obviously I was taking up far too much of her time rudely asked what do you want. Gave her my order with terrible attitude confirms what size I want and literally slams the window. I doubt I’ll ever go back there again

The recent remodel has given the Roadhouse a new freshness that sits firmly beside the freshness and quality of its food. Comfortable seating areas both inside and out. The staff are welcoming and friendly and nothing is too much trouble. A great place to stop for a snack or an afternoon catch-up.

Making a great coffee in there these days. The barista is on the money. Bacon n egg roll for breakfast or the chicken burger for any other time. Gold.

Love the Parma chips and salad here. Always a nice place to stop for food, Friendly staff. And a clean place to enjoy lunch.

I remember this was a 1 man band shop with a bit of crushed rock around it. Food is fresh jaffles Big Juicy Burgers sandwiches coffee drinks bacon egg's cooked to perfection friendly staff the place to stop relax eat in or take away you won't be disappointed and at a reasonable prices.

Wide range of breakfast and lunch items, cooked to order. We enjoyed the big breakfast, but plenty of other fried food, burgers, rolls, desserts, drinks and coffee to try. Not open for dinner - breakfast and lunch. Perhaps just as well for my waistline we live far away, otherwise would be a regular!

Can't go past the Corio Bay Roadhouse. I know they've changed management a few times over the years but I'll always know it as that classic roadside diner with bloody great food and friendly staff.

What a place!! Establishments this good just don't exist any more. Food and service are fantastic! If I'm within 50 kms I'll detour just to go there.

I have been eating there for the last 4 weeks mid you drove past there for years saying I must try it Now I’m addicted for an easy quick meal the hamburger with the lot or the chicken roll so yum And the staff are so nice

The staff are always friendly, no matter when you drop in. The serving sizes are out of this world. The coffee is very good. My favourite spot for a break. Well done team. 😀

Corio Bay Roadhouse is the best eating spot in Geelong. The food is so fresh and tasty. My partner and I ordered two chicken snitzel burgers, chicken tenders and coffee. The caramel slice is to die for! Tastes absolutely amazing. The staff are a lovely bunch of people and so friendly. We’d definitely dine in this cafe again…

Had bacon and eggs on toast. Yum! It was early on morning so I think the girl was still tired. Had to mention several times I wanted the eggs fried. The bill come to $55 and I said that's a bit expensive and she had included a bag of coffee beans onto the bill which I never asked for. We just laughed.

Food cooked just way I loved, sit down plate of baked beans, scramble eggs on toast, tomato, an mug of the best made coffee I've had in a long time. One of them secret one stop places, lots of other delicious food readily available, lot of stop, pick up n go customs. That's a great sign of happy serviced customers. Very glad we stopped there.

Had two visits here…they made a steak sandwiche to order…damn it was good, see image, fresh ingredients, and service was no problem, happy to make it for me, and 5he y are efficient. Also had their burger a few days later. Very good as well. This place is great for a stop, and beats a lot of other places.

The new menu was really tasty, the service was great. The lady taking my order was extremely helpful and so friendly and polite. And was pleasantly surprised when they were able to make my steak sandwich gluten free

Good, fresh made burgers. Cold drinks. Eat in or takeaway. Clean toilet. Plenty of parking. Absolutely the best place for a feed when leaving Geelong.

So I have been craving a chicken snitchel burger and well today found the most perfect burger, I even ended up having to share with my teenager who loved it also. So safe to say we will be going back.

As far as a roadhouse is concerned this offers exactly what a roadhouse should fresh or food ready to go sit in or takeaway drive through as well.

Good place for a quick break, cup of coffee and a quick bite. Staff are friendly and welcoming and the place has character.

This place is awesome we have had take out and dine in and the food is always fresh and delicious . They have a large selection of hot and cold food. The dine in area has a tv and room for larger groups of ppl. The staff are so friendly polite and efficient. I could recommend this place highly enough

Burger with the lot doesn't contain beetroot or pineapple 🍍. So it's an egg bacon and cheese burger, when I asked they were rude. And gave me a burger pre-cooked from bay-marie. My burger sat on cold bench, waiting for my chips. Not a burger with the lot. Lot means everything. Cold burger hot chips , will not go here again

We have been regulars here for years and the food is always great. The new building renovations are fantastic, same friendly staff as always. Will still be coming regularly.
