We made our first encounters with the underwater world with the Dive Spirit Team and took an Open Water Diver Course! We felt very welcome during our time with the Dive Spirit Family. I had a lot of respect before the first dive but the professional way of Bruno, our instructor, advising us how to set up the equipment and perform during the dive helped me and I really loved all of the dives. Everything was professional and the equipment is in good condition. We would definitely come back anytime for other courses! Thanks to Bruno, Charlene, Thierry and everyone at Dive Spirit.

Great diving center with a great team! I have been here for the second year in a row and have already completed a certification here. A variety of diving spots with wrecks, lots of turtles, rays, rockfish, scorpionfish, boxfish, etc. are on offer here!

I can't speak highly enough about this gem of a dive shop! After 4 years out of the water, Charlene, Thierry and their whole crew made my return back into the deep a truly memorable one. You feel you're in safe, understanding, capable and FUN hands! We came for the wildlife under water and stayed for the lovely creatures above it! :)

Charlene, Daphnee and Bruno were absolutely amazing. Throughout the entire process Charlene was accommodating, friendly and informative about the entire process. Even with the constant change in plans from my side she always made a plan. Upon arrival at the dive centre, Daphnee was friendly and welcoming all the time. I was lucky enough to get a one on one session with Bruno due to a cancellation who helped me with all the scuba equipment, making sure that I was comfortable throughout the entire process. He always kept me in the loop by explaining exactly what he was doing and what the plan was. The experience was amazing and we were lucky to see 3 turtles. Would definitely recommend the team for an amazing first diving experience.

Went there for my PADI Advanced Open Water. Charlene was a patient and understanding teacher who guided well and made sure that the dive and course material was well understood before hitting the water. Everything was done extremely well with safety at the paramount of the experience. The dives themselves were amazing (as always in Mauritius!) and the highlights were the wreck dive on Stella Maru and Japanese Garden. There’s an abundance of sea life which both Charlene and Thierry will make sure to point out if you miss them. Loads to see down on the various dives from your run of the mill tropical fish to octopi and sea turtles. My son also did a “discover scuba” dive with them and enjoyed it immensely. When I’m back on my next trip here (maybe even next year - who knows) I will definitely be reaching out to Dive Spirit for a package of dives.

Had the pleasure of getting my Advanced Open Water Diving Certification with Dive Spirit Mauritius. I am a bit of an anxious/nervous diver, and they were able to ensure that I was very well informed, supported and didn't feel rushed. This made the whole experience fantastic. The dive centre is across the road from the Indian Ocean with plenty of dive sites just off the coast, so was able to get a lot of variety in crystal clear waters after a short boat trip. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for any of their certification or if you would like to do an enjoyable dive whilst you are in Mauritius. Thank you team!

I recently completed my open water diver certification with Dive Spirit Mauritius and I couldn’t be more happy with the whole experience. I was on a tight schedule and fell sick midway through the course but Charlene let me reschedule my dives and made sure I finished the course before leaving Mauritius. We got our Open Water certificate with Bruno from Dive Spirit Mauritius and we had such a wonderful experience that we came back for more classes during our stay in Mauritius and did one of the Specialty Courses too! Charlene is just excellent, so on top of everything. We exchanged so many emails before even arriving to Mauritius and her responses were always prompt and made us feel safe / in good hands. Bruno is such an excellent teacher, very patient, super knowledgeable, constructive and very friendly. The rest of the team made us feel so welcome the whole time, as if we were part of the family. The dock is just across the street from the diving center and there's 30+ diving sites within less than a 5min boat ride. Highly recommend to everyone and honestly cannot wait to be back!

Highly recommended Diving centre! Not only did they have the best diving deals but the Dive Spirit Team with Thierry, Bruno, Stephan and Noah are so friendly. They are highly trained and equipped for any dives. On top of that, they are very good instructors. Hats off to Thierry and the team! If you have never dived before but are really interested to learn and discover this wonderful new underwater world, then Dive Spirit Mauritius is your place!

Thank you for allowing us to end our stay in Mauritius in style! The Divemasters were professional and caring. Thanks to them we were able to get the most out of our diving, while respecting the two sites where they guided us 😉. We were lucky enough to be able to see 2 turtles and really enjoyed being able to do it respectfully thanks to the instructions and support from the staff. If, as was our case, you were disappointed by a dive in another center in Mauritius. Go to them with your eyes closed. Professional and super welcoming! Thierry runs his club with good humor and seriousness. The whole team takes great care of you and the equipment is impeccable. A good atmosphere, a boat that takes you right in front, without having to carry all the gear 😌 and your dive is finished, getting back on the boat is easy and again the team is there to help you. I recommend 💯% for your dives in Mauritius in the north of the island.

We learn to dive with Dive Spirit and we always come back for diving. The team is very friendly and attentive to customer requests. They'll do their best to find the best dive according your experience, the other dives you've done, the weather and you mood. Each time we met regulars who come back regularly. The boat is a minute walk from the dive center, and after a dive one can enjoy the comforting warmth of a hot drink (half flat white :D ) while drying in the sun ! And of course they know the dives site so you'll always have good dives !! We're ready to came back !!!

I took my Advanced Open Water, Deep diver and Enriched air diver courses here. The instructors are very professional. The dive sites are beautiful and the community around the dive center is wonderful. Thank you Charlene, Stephan, Pascal and Thierry for the beautiful dives!

One of the best dive centers on the island! If you want to learn to dive or advance your training Charlene and Thierry will help figure out the right classes. They go out early in the morning around 8am for multiple drop offs then come back to shore to do it again around 11am. I especially love the deep dives. A great place to go if you have different level of divers in your group and want to dive the same day. Extremely bespoke customer care.

Awesome dive centre! An honest 5+ star rating ahead :) I did my Open Water with Dive Spirit and Charlene (one of the instructors) was kind and professional from the start. When I contacted her months ago, none of the other dive centers on the island explained the course days like Charlene did. That reassuring feeling of a thorough briefing turned to excitement and it did not disappoint, we had a great time with Dive Spirit, seeing a variety of dive sites with turtles, big fish, wrecks and beautiful coral reefs, I was even able to dive with my fiancé (a PADI Advanced Diver) on my last ocean dive. Charlene has a fun vibe and a rock solid understanding of dive theory. I'm glad she was my instructor as I don't think I would have learned as much with anyone else. After completing my Open Water I continued with the Enriched Air Diving course with an additional 2 dives, if we had stayed longer I would have even added the Advanced Open Water course haha! I found Dive Spirit Mauritius a good choice for a nervous novice for which diving was way out of the comfort zone, having been given it as a gift. Clear explanations and responses to questions, it was reassuring to practise in the pool before going out on the boat. When I panicked during the first part of the dive and wanted to go to the surface and had persuaded myself that I couldn't do it, our instructor Lindsay calmly encouraged me to try one more time. With his gentle support, I managed to face my fears and experience an underwater world which I otherwise couldn't have done. Thank you Lindsay!

Dive Spirits Mauritius is perfect in any area. A very organized family lead diving center that is personal, friendly and funny. One can do all kind of certifications and they are very helpful to find the right diving path for you whether it's going for the advanced, doing a technical diver, starting diving (again) or just have some cool fun dives. They have equipment in all sizes and thikness, all in high quality. On top of all that they have the best price-performance-ratio.

We came here for our first ever diving experience. Thierry took the time to explain how the equipment worked and how to use the equipment for our discover scuba experience. Once on the water my partner had some difficulty as she was nervous but Charlene & Thierry tried their best to help her stay calm. The level of patience from Thierry was exceptional. We were both thrilled with our experience and are thankful to have had our first dive here. The equipment was all very well maintained & we were very well looked after. Thank you!!!

Two of us did our discover dives here and I must say we are impressed with Dive Spirit. Everything was handled very professionally by Thierry - including informing us when the sea was bad for dive to rescheduling it to another day when weather improved. The team is wonderful - we reported a bit before 9 am and were fitted with gear as soon as we signed the paperwork. Our instructor was Stephane and we couldn’t have asked for a better one. He was so patient with me in the pool and in the sea. Ideally two of us could have accompanied him at the same time in the sea but my claustrophobia got the better of me. So after my first failed attempt in sea, he took me one more time inside the sea after my partner was done with his dive. And as luck would have it I managed to see turtles along with the other tropical fish. I doubt I would have attempted a second time if it was it not for Stephane. I would highly recommend Dive Spirit. There were many folks doing their open water course and advanced course with other instructors.

Best diving school we could have hoped for! Stop looking around for any of the other many schools there and just go with them. Highly professional yet so much fun! We did the “Padi Open Water Diver” and some more dives and felt directly comfortable and wonderfully taken care of. Best team, feels like a family and A HUGE THANKS to the best instructor ever Charlene!

Fabulous diving with the team at Dive Spirit!! Charlene, Sarah and Thierry looked after me really well. Diving is super easy to access by boat and the journeys are short so you can pack a lot into one day or several days. All kinds of dives available, reef, wreck, deep, etc. Loads of turtles on the reefs and Eagle Rays popping up regularly, some sharks also. Safety stop on the deep dives gives an opportunity to hang in the blue and wait for the unexpected ........ we had a Great Hammerhead come visit us as we counted down the minutes :-) Awesome!!

Well run , very professional. Dive shop across the street from Ocean. You can also go snorkeling as well for a reasonable price. Swimming pool on site as well for beginners.

Great experience. My twelve-year-old daughter wanted to learn to dive. I had one million questions in advance, all of which were answered in great detail and patiently. So we felt very safe when we arrived. My daughter got a great diving education and I did some nice dives during that time. Many thanks to the whole team, really recommend.

Great dive center, dives close to shore. So we did a dive in the morning, then got back at 10:30 for some tourism. The gear was well maintained, the divemasters professional and friendly, and the dive sites excellent. Spotted quite a few turtles. Would definitely come again

Our Host recommended us Ken as our instructor for our open water diving license. And I am so incredibly thankful for that. I was a bit worried, we wouldn’t have the time, but Ken took great care to match the dives perfectly to our schedule. The staff overall was very friendly and welcoming! We had 5 dives (one pool session) and not once I felt like beeping rushed or in danger. On the contrary! Ken has an amazing way to teach, calm, repeating everything important more than 10x and a lot of practical training. We prepared our equipment ourself, so that we would understand how it works and what we should pay attention to in other diving Centers. Also to mention is that the equipment we got was always in good condition. We loved the dives with Ken so much, we actually booked another two dives after we were finished. We sure are gonna miss diving with him and already planned on coming back one day to do it again.

We can really only recommend the diving center! From the first contact to the last dive everything went wonderfully! We booked 10 dives over a two-week stay. Before the first dive we chose the equipment, which we kept for the whole week. Before each dive we received a briefing (depth, possible duration, route…). The whole team is super professional, very friendly and always helpful. Even under water, we always felt that we were well looked after, whether it was assistance or information about special fish, you never had the feeling of being on your own.
