My phone reminded me of my trip to Puy du Fou one year ago. I had such a blast; I only have great memories there!!! We were so lucky that the park just reopened after Covid, so it wasn’t that busy during July. I would recommend the cinescenie (x1000 times yes 🙌), and also the combo of Thursday + Friday (with cinescenie Friday night). I could see a big difference that Friday it’s more crowdy 😅 Anyway, if anyone asks me what’s the best park attraction I’ve been to in my life, for sure, Puy Du Fou would be top of mind! I would love to be back with my kids one day :)

We've been going to this park for years, each time we visit France. Its absolutely spectacular shows are amazing. However, this year it was ultra packed..as if they'd let too many people inside. Queues were immense and we were turned away from shows. Such a shame as all the other times it's been fab!

An excellent experience. A great alternative to the roller coaster and rides of the traditional theme park. Definitely two days needed to get the most out of your visit. Not cheap but worth it.

Excellent theme pak. No thrill rides just a number of excellently entertaining shows. Roman ampitheatre and the Viking shows are the best. Full day required.

Such an awesome experience for my first time in France! The shows were beyond belief and wish I had more time to see them all! A must go if you are even close to this area of France. Definitely worth the trip.

Puy-du-Fou is the best and unique medieval amusement park in the world. You'll fully discover French medieval stories on different platforms through this large park. Buy the premium ticket to skip the monster line because vacationers and tourists from all over the world come here in the summer. The car park is very large. You'll not regret your day in Puy-du-Fou 👌‼️

It is a great theme park well worth the 53 euro entrance fee. If you want to experience French culture, this is a better place than Disneyland Paris. Shows of less than 30 minutes are of high quality. The carefully well prepared show is even touching. Even if you don't know French, you won't have any problems enjoying it. Both children and parents can enjoy it together. Perfect!

Great value for money. The shows were so fabulous and involved, great theatricality and the sets were amazing. The performers were acrobats, swords men and horsemen which made the performances. French language performances (I cannot speak French) did not detract from the story or the performance. Food and drinks seemed reasonably priced for a captive audience too. Well done to everyone!

Much more impressive than I was expecting. Quite the best theme park I have ever visited. There are no rides , but the shows are jaw-dropping .It’s beautifully set out with lots of tree lined paths and shady picnic areas .

Absolutely loved it, there’s nothing like it. The shows are spectacular, very well done! Be prepared for lots of walking and some long queues and pack lots of water. I would recommend booking 2 days so you can see all the shows but one day is still very satisfactory.

We love coming back here, although everytime it is a lot of people, prepare for a long walk and lane but all the show is worthit, you need atleast 2-3 days to finish all the show and enjoy the parc, you can check our YT channel for full video about our visit here and more tips , if you have kids and hate smoke, also prepare your self forany people who are smoking in the area, aside from that this place is perfect and worth visiting. Better to have a snack bag and water with you also.

An extraordinary experience of variety of shows outstanding from any other there parks. The use of modern technology enhances each show where classical theatrical media of communication is enriched by unusual props and animals. Each show is absolutely outstanding. If you wonder what you can be surprised by in a theatre stage, you will never guess it before you can actually see it. The cons might be quite long waiting queues for each show. You are not physically able to do all the shows in one day. Major language spoke is French. Most shows translated into English while using the park's app. You also need your own transport to get in. No local buses operating. Taxi sign outside the park- none of taxis ever arrived. Must see place for definite ;)

A fantastic day out! If you do speak French, note that they do not do translation guides anymore, you need to download the app beforehand. Best to plan your visit to try and fit in the big shows as it's impossible to get round them all in one day. Just brilliant!

Nothing like you’d ever believe, and definitely not a theme park! One of the best experiences in France, and would 100% recommend. Suitable for people willing to brave the heat and long walk, as the park is quite large.

The best experience I have ever had in a themed park! Almost every spectacle is really amazing and beautiful. Some are really touching! Must go place in France, I think! We all wonder how the park could be make profit with so many investment for the scenery, actors and stuffs… Five stars are not enough, I give 10 if possible!

The highlight of our family holiday. We spent two days in the park and it was incredible. The shows are amazing, the park clean, the staff and actors just great. I wish they would improve the web site booking system. It doesn’t work on many devices and is difficult to navigate and understand in English. I ended up having multiple emails and phone calls to confirm the booking. But it was all worth it to experience the park. (As others have noted the history is wrangled for a particular nationalist/catholic purpose. Take it with a pinch of salt!)

Trip of a lifetime. Just wow. So very professional. Superb in every way. Highly recommend. Definitely book the fast track tickets, it is so well attended. We went midweek and it was hammered. Well done to all involved 👏

Seriously awesome. One of the best theme parks you'll ever go to, and certainly the best one without any "rides". All the shows and attractions are very well done, the sets are spectacular, the actors are all great, and all of the site staff are friendly and helpful. The food and drinks are reasonably priced. Our son had the best day!

I do not have words to describe this experience. For sure, it is worth visiting this parc. The queue is long for each show , so I suggest you to be there at least half an hour before the show. It is not possible to participate in all the shows in one day but sure you need to visit the Vikings and the Arena.

Personally I am not a fan of amusement parks. This concept is more interesting compared to Disney. However, it is way too crowded. We went to the Viking show three times, only got in the last time because we were there an hour ahead of the starting time. Plan on the app ahead of time. Buy the fast pass if you can get one. It will allow you to get into any show at last minute, which allows you to watch more shows. I bought my ticket last minute, there were no fast pass available anymore. But it might be worth it if you are visiting this place only for one day. They stamp you if you have to leave and can re enter one more time on the same day.

I've been trying to buy tickets for weeks and it always gives me an error. I have called by phone several times and no one answers. I have sent an email and have not received a response either... I would love to go because of the good reviews it has but they don't make the visit easier.

Love the place, shows for everyone. Lots of walking to do and can be hard to get access to the restaurants (long waits). Bit pricy but overall worth it Best to book tickets waay in advance

Amazing shows. It is just the perfect parc for kids and grown-up. 2 days is recommended to see everything and a fast pass on your day 1 to skip lines for biggest event. (To be ordered on line the day before as it is often sold out). Night shows are to be booked few month before your stay and are a must see.

A Puy Du Fou visit is one you will remember for a long time! I visited here once when I was 4 years old and remember it so well. I was able to visit again in June 2023 (19 years later) and it was just as good as I remember. The shows are fantastic and the immersive shows are really well put together. Using the app and the “Live Translation” feature worked really well in the outdoor shows; vikings, colosseum etc. but I couldn’t get it to work in the immersive shows unfortunately ☹️ that being said they were still really good!! So, if you’re English remember a good pair of earphones! Using the app the day before and planning what shows you want to visit will help! Visited on Monday 12th June and it was relatively “quiet”, we were able to see all the shows we planned on with little queuing before hand.

If you want to take an amazing trip in time, then you have to visit. Actually, it is a must see. Many amazing shows (i will not describe so that i do not spoil) but definitely worth every minute. The last show ended at 11, so you might need to reserve an hotel if your trip is far. Also bring some snacks and hats as several shows are in the open air, and wear comforting clothes 😁 You might need to wait a bit before some shows, well it is part of the experience 😉

This was one of the most memorable experiences we have ever had. I can't recall how I came to find this place, but it did not disappoint. We stayed overnight at the Roman hotel. It was quite reasonable in pricing. The room was spotless. The bed was cozy. We stayed two days in the park. In hindsight, three would have been better. They have an English translation you can run on your phone for the shows. We could not connect to the wifi consistently the first day well enough to use it. Even without any translation, the shows were magical. The second day, we got the wifi and the translations to work. The translations were monotone and lacked the flair of drama that was being acted out. They could use improving. This and the food being a little expensive was the only place that we could slightly even think could be improved. We visited on a holiday weekend. Friday wasn't as busy as Saturday. Saturday was very crowded. We were thankful to have purchased the Emotion pass. We thought it brought a lot of value for the price to our experience. The quality and wow factor of the shows being performed is something that I just do not even have the proper words for. There hasn't been an experience in my lifetime that has ever topped what this destination offers. At this point in time, I have traveled to over thirty countries. France has its own magic. Puy Du Fou has figured out how to transform the magic of France and history into a living art that has to be experienced for yourself. The Fantomes show with the birds was something we went to see on both days we were there. Pictures and videos can not come close to placing you in the moment. The experience is something you have to see in person to experience the impact of what is happening around you. Even seeing the show twice wasn't enough to absorb the epic experience into your soul. I would go back in a heartbeat. I wish we lived closer. The park is immaculate. There is not a piece of trash in sight. Even when it was very, very crowded, the crowd control and lines were not a negative experience. We believe the Emotion pass helped provide a better experience on the crowded day. If you have the chance to visit you should go. Splurge for the emotion pass, especially if you will be going on the weekend. Young or old, this experience has something for everyone. If you are coming from far away, three days isn't too much.

Experience Rome, see Joan d'Arc, Arthur, WW1 trenches, and Viking invasions. Add water spectacles, and you have a full day at Puy du Fou. Fun for kids but still fun for adults. Plan to wait in line, but great stuff!

Amazing theme park. All the shows are spectacular from stunts to special effects. The hotel "La citadelle" was a nice and pleasant hotel to stay in thanks to the helpful staff, wonderful decoration and breakfast included. The restaurant "La table des ambassadeurs" was mind-blowing. The decoration and atmosphere send you back to the 17th century. The food and the all-you-can-eat buffet were amazing (local French products). The park is worth being visited for at least 2 days if you want to see the best out of it. It also includes animal pens. The atmosphere (villages, stalls, music, decoration, characters, shows) keeps you amazed.

Am amazing day out for two adults in their late forties with our kids in early teens and a pre teenager. Too much to do one day, although we felt we'd rather come back another time to do the rest than do all in one two day hit. That's just us. Kids favourites: Vikings, the Roman Circus, secret lance, La Pérouse.

To start with I truly don't like themed parks and this sort of family entertainment. I avoid Legoland, Disney, Harry Potter etc. This one is however different as the mix of environment, performance and good taste make it all great experience. Shows are on different level and to describe it I would have to waste Sunday afternoon. Staff is really polite, willing to help and speak English if you are shy to try your French. To all the sceptics... put your beer aside for the afternoon and go visit 'Puy du Fou'. For me it is 10/10p
