I love Ten Thousand Waves, except their prices are somewhat excessive. I got a room for two nights and it cost me over $900. I understand this is top of the line, but $900 for two nights- EXCESSIVE. I received a massage, which was outstanding, however it was $229 for 80 minutes. Add the tip and it cost me over $3.15 per MINUTE-EXCESSIVE. Don't get me wrong it was a heavenly experience. Have a great time if you can justify $1200 for two nights. Oh well, you can take it with you.

Gorgeous establishment filled with Japanese influences! I had the hot stone deep tissue massage and it is HEAVEN! Facilities are super clean! Love the privacy of the baths. Must GO!!

Best spa in Santa Fe. The atmosphere is euphoric, in house wood work is beyond exceptional, customer service is ok but no complaints. 10/10 will come back again. Go to the restaurant and ask for recommended specials, chef Kiko is constantly using seasonal products from local farms and it shows! Ps. They have the largest, freshest best sake menu in the United States! I would know!

Disappointed that we did not even get to go in the main pool. We stayed two nights at the resort and they were having plumbing/maintenance issues. On June 6th the main pool and the waterfall pool were both closed. The pool downstairs in the spa was too crowded so we were left with the foot soaking area. Expected more responsiveness about the lack of access or at least some offer of reimbursement. Nada.

We stayed in bessou for the first two nights. Staying here, using the waterfall private spa/tubs, then eating at izanami is by far the most vacation-y vacation my wife and i have had in years. Staff is exceedingly friendly and helpful, and the onsite shuttle is nice when still adjusting to the elevation. This will definitely be a yearly vacation spot for us.

This location is stunning! The nature and the architecture. We only went for the private spas, and it was one of the most fun, interesting, and intimate experiences. I would ABSOLUTELY come back. The staff was fantastic and kind, very accommodating. The private spa itself was BEAUTIFUL. I recommend this place. Don't think just book!

This is definitely a must try resort! Although it’s really hard to book.. I came to Santa Fe just for it. I enjoyed all their details of Japanese style decoration and the selections of plant! Every scene was intoxicating. And the private spa was absolutely gorgeous and comfortable. The only thing I’d complain was the restaurant, the food wasn’t as quality as the resort. It could be better! However, I’ll try the other lodgings next time!

We didn't stay in the lodging but the private hot tubs are the best thing ever. I strongly recommend the kojiro private hot tub.

We stayed in the room called Bessou. Lodging has lots of different choices, there is even room that has a small courtyard and accepts small pets. Everything is very clean there are lots of new buildings and rooms built in the last year or two. One of the only challenges is this place fills up quickly and so getting lodging when you are hoping to travel can be a challenge.

Not the best experience. The location is nice coming down from the ski hill. I'm glad the room had a sauna because the water was not hot. We asked them to turn it up and they did, but it was only for a minute or two and then cold water again. Very disappointing for the money spent and I won't be recommending to out of town guests.

A completely wonderful Japanese spa in Santa Fe. Private tubs, incredible massages, facials, areas to relax. It is wonderful. Book a private tub and then a massage with time to relax in the sauna. Browse the unique and very cool gift area for all kinds of treats including the signature lotions!

I have been coming here since 2012 and have nothing but the greatest experience. Feels just like a ryokan in Japan. Excellent staff and service. They also provide complimentary healthy breakfast to tour room. Strongly suggest to try a private bathtub. 90 minutes go by real fast and a lot of other services you can try while you are there

Ten Thousand Waved was one of our favorite experiences on our trip to New Mexico-definitely a core memory. The spa is beautiful and clean, located at a higher altitude in the New Mexico mountains, and the small touches of Japanese influence and cuisine are really appreciated. Come here and you won’t be disappointed!

All in all a fantastic experience! The only negative thing I could think of is the bed isn't as comfortable for me but that's because I'm picky.

The quiet forest. Running water. Amazing massages, total relaxation. There is no other spa that I have been to that is as wonderful as this place is.
