The cable car to upper direction works only till 15.00. The price is quote high 20.00eur. After getting at the top of mountain, there were no more doubts about is it worth. I would say it is must do in Zakopane. Really impressed by the view and experience.

A must do if you visit Zakopane. If you buy your ticket online you can pick the time you want to go up in the cable car otherwise you could be standing in a queue especially if you go later in the day. We decided to head there first thing in the morning and go onto the cable car at 10:10am with only a few people in front of us in the queue. By the time we came back down approx 12pm there was over 100 people standing waiting to get onto the cable car. The cable car only hold a certain number of people so it’s important you either go early they way we did or book your place online.

Always buy tickets a day earlier to avoid wasting your vacation time on queues 😎 The ride was cool and the cart was not packed (not crowded inside)

Amazing experience! Must do it! The cafeteria on the top was really amazing. It's a bistro type and with great options. The staff was so helpful!!! This was our best dinner ever!!! We bought the tickets online beforehand. It was Thursday afternoon. The way back at 7pm was pretty crowded though. We were traveling with a 2 year old baby. The scooter we took with us was quite a burden, but there was a corner to leave it to take a nice mountain walk. It was quite cool that day, so we spent an hour outside and some time in the bistro.

Beautiful trip even on a foggy day! The air bus ride to the top was so scenic and spacious windows allowed total views of the mountains. The lines were well managed and the staff even accommodated me when I missed my wagon.

Simply a must when you visit Zakopane! The view up at the top is breathtaking, and being able to take the cable car to the top is super convenient. We read reviews and got tickets online ahead of our ride which saved us time cause it was crowded when we got there. FYI they fill the cable car to the brim with people so if you’re very covid-conscious, this might not be comfortable for you.

It's expensive but worth going at least once in your life. 130zł for a return ticket. The return ticket has a time limit, and I was worried we wouldn't make it back in time, because the return line was 30+ minutes of waiting; not sure what would have happened if we didn't make it in time, because return line was too long, and you need to scan the ticket barcode. If your return ticket is invalid, you may need to pay another 109zł for a ticket down. Overall a needlessly stressful experience with these arbitrary time limits they do not tell you about in advance. Bring a jacket because the peak is incredibly windy.

A lot of people but amazing views. We went up by funicular and down by legs. Down it took 5.5 hours instead promised 3 h))) So we were home a very late. We had a real adventure. Please buy in a very advance ticket! And online Tickets are expensive.

We came at 11 am after one of our tours got cancelled at the last minute and we wanted to find something else to do. We waited in line for about an hour before all the tickets for the lift were sold out. Definitely buy in advance or get there early.

Its a great mountain point. They haven't found a good tourist / nature mix, it feels like they should go one or the other. The restourant is ok, closes before the last gondola back. The hiking around and to the mountain is nice, the peak and stairs leading up to it are nice. Overall it's nice.

Fast way to get to the top of a mountain. Simple to buy ticket at the machine. Also lockets and online available. I missed an explanation on the top about the routes. Mainly the difficulty. So, a warning. If you are overweight, lazy and do little on your fitness, DON'T take a red route. It took us nearly 8 hours to get to the bottom. 🙂

It's worth visiting any time of the year. Better choose a day when the weather is calm and the sky is clear. You will have full visibility. The tickets are cheaper depending on the season and time of the day. You can purchase it online easily. There is a very nice little restaurant at the very top of Kasprowy. There are hiking paths of different difficulties.

Amazing place - my photos speak the complete story, need great stamina and planning to cover the amazing sites.. my advise is not to visit without proper trekking shoes and holding/balancing sticks..

Worth the trip. However, I did encounter some difficulties with the system in place. Specifically, I had trouble getting answers in English about what would happen if I didn’t return within 1 hour and 40 minutes. The system seemed pretty disorganized and chaotic, with people not staying in line. To make matters worse, if you stay in line and your ticket expires, you have to go back and pay extra before getting back in line. This was frustrating and inconvenient. Despite these issues, I still enjoyed my visit overall.

One of the best Cable car in Poland. In Summer they are usually crowded. They open from 8:00 to 15:30. If you dont have ticket already in Hand dont bother to arrive around 15:30. Usually tickets get booked very fast. One car can take upto 60 people. On top there is a restaurant which is too crowded because everyone try to drink or eat something. Off season ticket cost 99 pln for both way. On top they give u two hours, that include the trip which is around 15 mins each way. Unless you go for a hike 2 hours is mote than enough.

Tartra national park. Beautiful place to visit 👏 Went with my fiance, not hard to walk there, considering our clothing of choice wasnt really appropriate for hiking. But all in all, very nice place to visit for a lot of hours. 👏

Hello. Our second visit. Still hugely popular but much more expensive. Lengthy queues but got in after 1 hour. We took the cable car up and down as we had children with us. Incredible views and vistas. Take stout shoes. They've added a circular cable chair ride which is great. Try the restaurant here - very busy but good food, although choice limited especially for vegetarians. It does get busy so you will have to queue. Well worth a visit!

Wasn't alot of parking when we went alot of construction going on. Car park near hotel was 50zl cash only. Was then about 10 min walk to area . Toilets were available but charged 2zl to enter make sure you have some cash on you. Wasn't alot to go up you can either hike up and catch a ride down or get a return trip. Height of mountain to top is 2600+ meters. Was -4 at the top. Wear suitable clothing. Also snowy. Restaurant is available at the top you can have food and drink. Small little shop sells few t-shits and hoodys and jumpers hat gloves. The views are spectacular, especially if you catch a clear day. Absolutely breath taking I could of stayed up there for hours. Definitely worth seeing. We drove just short of 2 hours from krakow to see it. I'd say was worth it. Located in zakopane.

Buy tickets online, and avoid the very long queu. The cabelcar provides nearly a 1000 meters of elevation, and the view is great. But bear in mind that you only get 1 hour and 40 minutes on top if you buy a return ticket, so if you want to explore the area, buy a one way ticket, and make your own way down after having reached your chosen goals.

Nice place but ticket office is the worst! I can’t even buy the online tickets as it’s sold out for the day and the queue to buy the physical tickets was one hour, a waste of my time. Too many tourists and domestic visitors visiting in December. Advice is to buy your tickets online in advance. Wish there was parking right at the cable car station itself and not make visitors walk about 1km.

The view is amazing and worth visiting. You ab take cable car or trek (but it was all snow on top for us so we opted for cable car). The line is very long...so try to book tickets online or be there very early. There are tickets machines too to buy the tickets but they give you later scheduled tickets.

It was my fault not to check the weather forecasts to realize I wouldn't have seen anything at the top. It would have also been a sign of courtesy to inform the tourists about adverse weather conditions which would have compromised the experience. It wasn't like that, and the behaviour of the officer when I tried to ask for a refund showed me that they just don't care, or they are not prepared to accommodate to tourists or tourism, shame...

Can get there by walking the track or by cable,i recomend buy cable car ticket in adwance,it will save you 2-3 hrs of waiting,u can buy one side ticket(up or down)if u buy two ways ticket,u can stay for about 2 hrs,and i can say its not that much, becouse u have to rush a bit,to see everything from above.

The views are absolutely breathtaking! The carts are a little to full with some pushing/squeezing. We were also not informed that you have a certain time to come back down. It was a little to long for us that evening. Also quite a long walk from the parking. If you want to skip that, the horse carriage goes all the way. If you planning well, you can also walk down, seems beautiful.

Alright that’s a tricky one actually hard to find the way to the cable car base station which bring you up to the famous Kasprowy Wierch, they not make it the easiest and the biggest mistake currently there is no place to park your car up there. But after all worth the money and time to go up there do not miss it out!

The experience was amazing! Info for visitors: One can also choose the hiking route from Kuźnice, which I will definitely do it next time. From Zakopane to Kuźnice parking, the bus price is 4pln per person and it will roughly takes 10-15 mins to get there. But, from Zakopane to Morskie Oko parking, it costs 15pln and roughly takes 30-35 mins.
