Always a beautiful place to go and spend an afternoon... its wonderful the energy they take to maintain and keep everything looking good. We like to go in the spring to see the trees bloom, and then again in the summer. There is always something new to see, and the gallery is beautiful as well. They offer it as a fantastic wedding venue as long as you are not doing a large list of invitees. .

Fellows Riverside Gardens consists of 20 acres of beautiful trees, shrubs, ground covers, flowers, and herbs. Buildings include a visitors center, pavilion, and gazebo. The visitors center, which offers tours, a gift shop, and a cafe, is open from around 10 AM to 5 PM on most days of the week, but the gardens themselves are open from dawn to dusk daily. Admission is free. I walked around the entire garden in roughly 30 minutes, although I could have stayed longer. The plants were maintained well, and the buildings were in excellent condition.

As a photographer, it is a pleasure to work at Fellows Riverside Gardens! This is a gem of a location and provides so many beautiful backdrops. There are gorgeous flowers, gazebos, forests, and views in every direction and we could have spent an entire day exploring it all. Highly recommend! Images by Jennifer Elizabeth Photography.

Absolutely beautiful place. The only downside is most plants are not in bloom and it is definitely not stroller friendly or even wheel chair friendly. The inside is nice and beautiful. The staff for the most part are kind to you. Got to see some great views.

These gardens were surprisingly serene and beautiful being that close to civilization and free. There were multiple paths meandering in and out of different areas. Each area had a slew of plants all tagged providing ideas for your own home. The grounds were pristine proving why there were four weddings onsite.

I went to this exceptionally lovely place for brunch. Kravitz deli, which has a small kitchen there, has a gorgeous sun-filled spot for a very tasty breakfast and lunch. The interior spaces are so special, with massive walls of windows, alcoves, places to read, gallery artwork to peruse... classrooms, a large event room, and incredible views of the lake and park. There's a library, a gift shop, and other cool attractions. You could get married here, or have an art show, have a small conference, a weekly meet up with your friends...so many cool things can happen here!

There are several trails & gardens to walk through. The area is clean easy to navigate. There's seating throughout the park & there's a lot of shade to enjoy on hot days. There's a really nice cafe which has good sandwiches, drinks & pastries. I highly recommend a visit to Fellows Riverside Gardens!

Great place for nature lovers! The landscape, plants, trees, flowers & overall nature is breathtaking. I loved how the names of each plant/flower is stated in front of it. Plenty of shaded areas with benches to relax & enjoy the nature while reading. We went a little late (4:35 pm) which gave us 25 mins only as the garden closes at 5 pm. I will ho again soon to enjoy a longer time & enjoy the nature breeze

Very nicely done gardens. A nice spot for unique gifts. A cafe. Share garden. Rise garden. So much to see. Beautifully done. A nice place to visit but we were short on time. Seems like a nice gem. When the tulips bloom next week I bet it will be spectacular!

Beautiful public gardens! The selections of plants in the planting pots, boxes and beds are always a delightful combination of color, texture and plant varieties. This is the first time we've visited in the fall and we enjoyed seeing the seasonal decorations as well.

This is one of my favorite spots to go! It's beautiful with different types of flowers and plants. A wonderful place for photos! They even have Christmas events throughout December. It's a beautiful place that I would visit every weekend if I could.

I'm blessed to be able to visit this beautiful place as it's only on the other side of town. Spring is my favorite time although I come year-round. Expect to see many beautiful flowers, a large variety of trees, plants and other greenery. Plan to spend some time as they have trails that lead to various areas of the park, even off the beaten path. A large rose garden precedes a beautiful overlook that highlights the beautiful lake. This place is worth a stop and a revisit.

Great place to visit, relax, and recharge. Nice little trails to walk through and the area is well-maintained. Any events I’ve ever experienced at the venue have always been professional as well.

During a resent visit to Youngstown, Ohio I went to Fellows Riverside Gardens in Mill Creek Park and the small gardens were beautiful and the rose garden had many roses just starting to bloom. The Gardens are a must see along with Mill Creek Park.

These gardens are an amazing place to spend time, very beautiful and peaceful. If you love plants you will want to come back many times over. The landscaping is incredible and there is a great variety of plants. Wonderful to be able to visit a garden this large for free.

The gardens were so beautiful I cannot wait to continue to visit to see new blooms throughout the year.

What a lovely, sprawling botanical garden. Surprises abound at every turn. On a pretty June day, it might as well have been a little bit of heaven. I can't wait to go back.
