View : 5/5 Value for money : 5/5 Avg. Duration to spend : 2-3 hours You will get a tram from here to visit gubalowka Hill Top. The view from the top was simply breathtaking. For a moment, I felt like I was in a completely different place. There were many restaurants on top with some fairytale decorations. Perfect place to click some memorable photos. It cost us 35 zl per person to go on hill top and back, which I think is reasonable. The trams run every 5-10 minutes. Without a doubt, it's a recommended place to visit in Zakopane.👍

Modern funicular takes you from Zakopane city center to the top of the hill overlooking the city. So new is the village they still finishing it. I recommend getting tickets in advance at one of the kiosks in the city center a day beforehand to avoid lines. Dogs allowed but need a muzzle.

Nice line from Zakopane to gubalowka, on the top of hill. 216 seconds of travel, so very fast, About 20euro for 3 go and back

The views are magnificent if the weather is right. Fortunately on the day we visited was beautiful.

The views from the top of the mountain are lovely. The funicular ride was extremely crowded, as was the area at the top, which is nothing more than a tourist trap with trinket kiosks and bars. Unless you are planning to take a nice long hike in the area, I would not recommend this experience.

It was a very nice and beautiful trip. If you choose a good spot, you will have a chance to see the whole view. I chose to wait the next ride to be able to sit in the back while going up. This is a must visit place.

A lovely little trip (5 minutes) up the hillside where you get stunning views on a good day. See the 'sleeping giant' in the distance. Visit the restaurants/cafes at the top or buy an ice-cream (the stalls at the back are the cheapest and friendlier). There are places to just sit and relax and some fun fair type activities if you fancy.

The way up was quick and comfortable. The view was good. Overall good place to visit when having a rest from hikes and just chill with a good view and a glass of beer. Not much to do up there, but it's worth going up there for a few good pictures and view over Zakopane and over the mountains. Gives an idea where the hiking trails and other locations are located related to the town.

It’s an amazing place . There are many outdoor activities that adults and children can do . Also , there are many restaurants and coffees . Many shops are there too. You should prepare yourself to spend not less than 5 hours. Don’t forget to bring a heavy clothes because it’s very cold .

The best views from Zakopane!!!! the transportation services are open from 9 till 20:00, can buy the tickets online, ticket machines or at the front desk from 29 pln up and down. On top there are many shops (souvenirs, clothing, handicrafts, food and drinks). Also there are activities like snowmobiles renting, slopes for ski and snowboard, snowslide for children or just chill having an amazing view of the city and the mountains. Good advice take some cash with you 'cuz some places only accept cash.

I went here for a tour and spent 2hours. I loved it so much. It has a lot of huge pool (both indoor and outdoor) and several saunas with varying temperatures (from 40 to 60). I'd say it's worth it!

Amazing place. I would recommend to take the hiking route. Not the cable bus. Then you can enjoy the view as you climb up. There are nice restaurants up. We also ate typical polish food. Had a great experience. Tips: 1. Better to go on a clear day to have a better view of the whole city. 2. Use Crampons. EXTREMELY Important. We saw many people were sliding because of slippery ice.

An amazing place with stunning beautiful views of the Tatra mountains. Went up twice to Gubalowka, in the morning & in the evening. Highly recommended!

It was a beautiful experience up through the snow clad slopes using the funicular to reach Gubalowka. It's 35 zloty/person to and fro, which is reasonable. The views were great of the Tatras and it is easily a 3 hour excursion, great with family. The only reason I am not giving it a 5 is lack of more activities to engage people.

An amazing place the views were stunning. Would recomend the chicken kebab 🍢 and sausage. They also charge 90p for the toilet so bare that in mind.

Beautiful winter location. It is always very windy up there. You can purchase tickets on arrival. There is a self counter right outside as well as normal ticket counters. You can pay with card or cash.

Great views of the Tatras mountains if you manage to secure a place by the glass windows or doors. During peak times gets extremely crowded.
