(Translated by Google) 2021.08.21. Another place worth visiting in Żyrardów. Weaving machines, fabric patterns, old photos, etc. They stimulate the imagination. There are also presentations of the work of individual machines, but I was on Saturday. Then there is no presentation. You can rent an audio device to listen to information about the exhibits. Very helpful. The museum also houses a statue of the AL soldier, which was removed from the square in front of the railway station in 2018. Only an empty square on the sidewalk remained. Pity. I recommend visiting this museum. It's really worth it (Original) 2021.08.21. Kolejne miejsce warte odwiedzenia w Żyrardowie. Maszyny tkackie, wzory tkanin, stare zdjęcia itp. Szkoda. Polecam odwiedzić to muzeum. Naprawdę warto👍👍👍

Great piece of local history. Free of charge or at least for me no one checked the tickets. There are some wild animals there as well.

Definitely recommend a visit. It's very interesting place, with a lot of stories to show, very interactive for kids that can touch and see the machines to work, with a plus of the animals outside, what they are really cool

Very interesting place to visit. There you can see workshops with equipment for the production of linen products. Also you can discover the history of the factory and people have been working before

Top director and organisator of local event. Hats off for these events. Zyrardow needs people like the director of this museum

We really enjoyed this museum, atmospheric, well presented and free. 3 big bonuses were that you could touch things, there was a person who would and could answer questions and there was a demo of one of the big machines. Visit and you'll happily donate.

(Translated by Google) Museum in the historic halls of the linen factory. Machines from different eras and different countries of production. Information on production is provided in various forms. In the last room, the staff turns on one of the machines; already one makes a lot of noise - in the golden years of the plant the noise must have been monstrous. Free entrance; it is worth to throw "whatever you love" into the piggy bank at the reception in gratitude for the work of the people who maintain these devices and the memory of the history of linen in Żyrardów. In the shop you can buy bags made of raw linen - a nice souvenir (PLN 25; payment only in cash). Clean toilet. There is a mini zoo next to it, but we did not visit it. (Original) Muzeum w zabytkowych halach zakładów lniarskich. Maszyny z różnych epok i różnych krajów produkcji.

(Translated by Google) The Linen Museum in Żyrardów - does anyone think of visiting it? And it's worth it! You will see linen here - from seedlings through the entire production process line to the production of clothes, oil or even ... paper. You will see huge hanging screen prints and colorful thread weaving machines, which until recently were working at full speed. (Original) Muzeum Lniarstwa Żyrardów – czy komuś przychodzi do głowy, żeby tu zajrzeć ? A warto ! Zobaczycie tu len – od sadzonki poprzez cały produkcyjny ciąg technologiczny aż to produkcji ubrania, oleju czy nawet …papieru. Zobaczycie ogromne wiszące sitodruki i maszyny tkackie z kolorowymi nićmi, które jeszcze całkiem niedawno pracowały pełną parą.

(Translated by Google) An interesting place that nurtures the linen traditions of the city of Żyrardów and shows the linen industry in Poland. It is located in authentic factory halls that were part of a 19th century factory. It looks like the workers have just left, even the smell is still there and the tablecloth weaving machines are working. The museum is very friendly and helpful, admission free. I highly recommend visiting.

Staging. In this small town, 16,000 machines were used to weave cloth bales at 1880. 139th anniversary of the textile workers' strike.

Wonderful place! Please leave here some tips because it’s for free and I don’t imagine how they maintain that.

Nice place. We've been there on a Christmas market. The atmosphere was warm and joyful, nice decorations and local handicrafts. Didn't have a chance to properly go through the whole exhibition, but feels like it's an interesting museum made with passion.
