So many questions for management: I noticed in other reviews that the pool has been closed as far back as five months ago! I do not understand why the description for this hotel lists an indoor pool. I had many other properties to choose from, and would not have chosen this if I had known. Shouldn’t the rooms be discounted when an amenity as important as the pool is closed? It is evidenced in other reviews that many are surprised when they get there to find this out. Kind of rude to wait to reveal this at check in time. Also perplexing- My room rate was over $150 per night (and was not allowed to be cancelled…🙄). After I booked this in the app- so that all my info would transfer over, I noticed rates as low as $99 elsewhere. Are honors members honored by paying the highest rates? It feels wrong to complain about food. I am not starving, gratefully. But as I sat in the dining area, on one of the many heavily stained chairs, which are all structurally deteriorating, I pondered the logistics of putting out free breakfast for guests. I suppose it’s understandable that the hot food is brought in from some other place and the expectations are not too high there. But why do the bagels have to be SO stale? Many thanks to Pam at the front desk. She is doing a good job in spite of all the issues at this hotel. A few weeks ago, I debated whether to go with the Hilton group or the Marriott group for a long series of business trips. This hotel is making me wonder if my choice was wrong.

Poor management, poor service & not organized at all. As a Hilton honors member I stay here almost every week for work 5+ nights a week and they don’t fix up your room, don’t replace/refill soap and towels even if you ask them too. Multiple times I have even requested for something early in the morning (soap, towels, etc) just to come back to my room at night and they forgot to do it.

The beds are incredibly comfortable! Kenida met us with a smile and was pleasant and professional. BUT...With all of the competitors in the area you would think the place would be a 10. The pool /hot tub were out of service, big disappointment especially since nothing was listed when I booked. After driving for 10 plus hours, I was so looking for a nice hottub message. The bathroom and tub areas need a good bleaching. Get rid of the carpeting, its nasty. Add a few sauce packets to spruce up the bland eggs. The entrance feels tight, its very crammed. The hotel is easy to get to, just look for all the others.

A very nice hampton. I've stayed here a few times, always a good experience. I stayed here most recently after my high school reunion. I checked in after 5am and they let me get a late checkout at 12pm.

I have never given a Hampton Inn a 3 star rating, they have always been 4 or mostly a 5. The main reason we selected this one was because they had a pool only to find out that the pool has been closed for 3 years, yet somehow it still shows up on the search results. Kids were very disappointed in that. Rooms were clean, but the fitted sheets were too small and kept coming off the bed all night. Then, I hate to complain about a free breakfast, but Hampton Inn is normally on top of everything. This one was out of a lot of food, the milk was warm and the biscuits were hard to bite into to. We were down there fairly early and not running in at the last moment. I still love the Hilton name and will choose a Hampton over most, but I will avoid this one if I'm in the area again.

A sad site when you enter the room. This was a beautiful facility…….. 25 years ago but is desperately in need of a redo. Cheap now discolored granite in the bathroom, a barely working faucet, finish peeling off the mirror, etc. We stay at Hampton Inn regularly for all our road trips and this one is as “tired” as it gets. Oh, and for us, the bed was very uncomfortable! We also didn’t even bother with breakfast after a quick look. Thankfully Starbucks was around the corner..

Very nice! Room was clean and smelled nice. Hot breakfast was very good. Had a huge selection of food to choose from. Bacon, eggs, potatoes, waffles, oatmeal. Cereals, fruit, yogurt, and different pastries. 10 out of 10!

Room was super clean, staff was really nice, there's a lot to do in the area but we really just wanted someplace close to crash after new years and avoid driving. Honestly, I definitely got my money's worth and felt good about where I was sleeping. Definitely coming back to this location if I need to stay someplace in the area again.

The staff at this location openly displays through action that guest comfort and accommodation are the least of their concern. Coffee was not available in the lobby at 9am. Hot prepared breakfast food was not available during the timeframe posted. Unattended children were allowed to roam freely thus creating havoc in the breakfast area.

Breakfast isnt at 6 am as stated. Its whenever they feel like it. Im sitting here now waiting for the eggs at 7:03 am. They should not tell people 6 and put up signs saying breakfast is at 6. Thr room i statyed in had no microwave.

The rooms could use an update. Carpets seemed old along with the window treatment. The fitted sheet kept coming off the matress and the room just didn't smell fresh. Staff was pleasant.

Clean, cool, dark and quiet. I actually don't think I've ever slept so well in a hotel. It's not fancy but you can SLEEP.

Staff is very kind and helpful. Manager gave my wife and I a complimentary snack at checkout, I travel occasionally to Youngstown for work, and I started choosing this Hampton Inn for location and the breakfast. Rooms are clean and staff makes you feel comfortable. I will be back. Thanks.

Overall a fair experience, wasn’t as clean as I’d hopped but not bad. Bed was clean so that’s great. Breakfast was decent, a few iffy things but mostly good. A fair experience but not as comfortable as many other hotels.

I had to ask for new towels because one of the towels had a smell. They were very apologetic and gave me additional towels and a refresh of my room. Other than that, my stay was good.

Location did not have my reservation regardless of having confirmation number on hand at check out . Was then charged again . Have over 700 dollars in a 1 night stay at what I would consider a low tear hotel. Very surprised to see a 3 star rating . The rooms do not reflect that . I stayed on June 20th 2023 and ownership changed hands on July 1 2023 leaving me with the double charge . I'm into October and the hotel has not made it right . Find another hotel in youngstown boardman .

Very clean. We travel with a dog and are grateful for the dog potty area and bags that are supplied. The pet fee is a bit steep, though.

Great hotel to stop at while traveling! Hot continental breakfast, comfy beds, free coffee and water which was awesome before getting back on the road. This place is also super pet friendly! And it’s tucked away in a great area to walk your dog with lots of grass and also quiet. My beagle gives it 5/5 stars. My only complaint is that the guests next to us and had their tv on all night long which made it difficult to sleep through the night. Obviously this isn’t the hotel or management’s fault. We tried turning the room cooler so the AC would muffle any of their noise.

Hampton inn Youngstown staff and management alike are despicable. My wife had accidently made reservations at this location. Within minutes she realized her mistake and reached out to the hotel. She was met with the answer that they would not refund her money ($150) for the stay because it wasn't their fault she made a mistake. When she asked for a solution they offered that she could cancel the reservation, still be charged the $150 and that they could and would transfer her to the location nearest us to set up a reservation which in total would be a other $150+. This location was over an hour in the wrong direction of where we were traveling so it didn't make sense to go that far out of our way. We own that a mistake was made on our end but the lack of professionalism on their end was just unnecessary.

Very nicely updated rooms that are clean and convenient. The staff were all very responsive. Free breakfast was quite good, too.

We like this hotel, super convenient and the staff are soooo nice and accommodating. The reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is that it could be cleaner. Some of the shelves and stuff were dusty. With that fixed it would be perfect.

I've stayed at many hotels. I've stayed at many with lots of youth staying there while on a trip with church. This place has been the kindest and most helpful of any place I have ever stayed. Teenagers can be rough and noisy, but every single employee that I encountered while staying here has been phenomenal! Thank you so much for making our stay fantastic! I appreciate each and every one of you!

This hotel is horrible. The staff is rarely at the front desk so if you need to talk to someone it will be at least 5 to 10 minutes before you get them to appear. They claim that you will get a breakfast in the morning but when I went down to the area where the food was all I saw was an apple, 2 bananas and 4 tiny boxes of cereal. They didn't even have any milk for the cereal! I tried to get some coffee but the coffee machine wasn't even plugged in. I tried to ask the 2 women who are supposed to be working in the front desk about the breakfast situation but they were too busy outside smoking. Needless to say I will NEVER be coming back here again.

The staff were very welcome and friendly. This location, however, is in need of a bit of an upgrade. Furnishings and decor were older and worn. Also, did not live up to my experience with Hampton Inns as far as cleanliness goes. We had a disappointing breakfast...also not up to usual Hampton Inn standards.

Hampton Inns are usually reliably clean, reasonably priced, and conveniently located. This one is no exception! Special shout out to the overnight front desk manager for holding my reservation for an extremely late check in 👍

Great location. Anything you need from food to shopping close by. Outstanding customer service. However, I have stayed here on several occasions since 2015 when visiting family and I have seen things go down.

Excellent Service! Excellent Rooms! First, it was Heather setting me up with a last minute stay - including a late checkout! I really needed that for work. Then, a couple of weeks later, it was Caroline booking me in for ANOTHER last minute stay. I could even check in early! This time, really needed that for the wedding I was attending. It literally saved the weekend. The rooms are fantastic - and very comfortable. This is my "go to" hotel for Youngstown/Boardman.

I visited for business and have never had such a positive experience with the staff as I did here. My company has been having travel issues and I was so stressed but Caroline got me right to my room and reassured me everything was okay. The staff checked in with me daily to make sure everything was going well with my visit and were very friendly. The a/c in my room was a little loud and the property could use some tlc upgrades but the price can't be beaten. Breakfast was pretty good with a nice variety.

The hotel was comfortable and the breakfast was well done. The best part was the front desk staff. Missy was awesome. She responded cheerfully and quickly to every request, even finding a playground for my toddler granddaughter to burn off steam before the drive home. I highly recommend this hotel.

Wish I could give 5 stars. But there were 2 things that didn’t sit well with me. One being the breakfast, as there were no breakfast meat available the first day we were there and the second day we waited 45 min for fresh breakfast to come out. Most importantly the complementary water bottles that were given were sourced out of Michigan 🥴🥴🥴🥴. Although I’m not sure if it’s from FLINT, MICHIGAN but the taste of it was very weird and distinctive for it to be SPRING WATER. Don’t believe me have a look for yourself… (pics included). Overall the hotel was very clean, sheets looked and smelled fresh, the staff was very friendly and very helpful. 3/5 in my opinion.
