Attended for a meet the author event for Book Week Scotland. Very pleasant environment with lots of wood and glass. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The event was well organised with tea/coffee and cake available as well. There was accessible parking to the side of the venue with easy access to the main entrance for my friend's wheelchair and plenty of space inside for maneuverability. There appeared to be other groups using various meeting rooms around the building. A very positive experience.

Found that different departments ( main building and repairs? Have not shared information about what is required as far as repairs are concerned. No Senior Managers available to inspect need for repairs because working on upcoming election work which isnt until 8th May. Ridiculous situation. HAVE MAILED SUE WEBBER ( TORY MSP )) AND FORWARDED INFORMATION TO HASE BECAUSE OF FAULTY WATER/ HEATING SYSTEM WHICH CAN CAUSE MAJOR BURNS. PASSED INFORMATION AGAIN TO SUN NEWSPAPER AND HOPE THEY PRINT PICTURES AND STORY. THE LADY I TALKED TO WAS VERY PLEASANT BUT COULD ONLY DO SO MUCH. THE LACK OF A MANAGER TO LISTEN TO ME AND ARRANGE A VISIT TO DO A REPORT ON WORK NEEDING TO BE DONE SHOWS I THINK THE LACK OF IMPORTANCE THAT THE COUNCIL PUTS IN LOOKING AFTER THEIR HOUSING STOCK. ALWAYS BRINGING UP COVID AS AN EXCUSE IS RUBBISH.

Well done to the two men who helped the woman who fell on the ice today and the man from the partnership centre even went as far to shovel and grit the full path at the police station! Well done :)
