Quick pit-stop for souvlakia on our way to Ouranoupolis. The village is apparently well known for its souvlakia and there are many restaurants along the road. We randomly stopped at this one. Souvlakia were ok I’ve had better… 1.30€ for each.

The whole village is full of souvlaki restaurants. This time our choice was Maria’s restaurant. Very friendly stuff , really doing their best to make your meal time great. We had souvlaki, burger and pork shoulder steaks, a Greek salad, chips and soft cheese salad. They offered us bread toasted with olive oil and oregano and at the end an amazing revani ( a sweet cake with sirup) topped with ice cream. All that for 3 people ( we could easily feed 4) was about 32e All good . We will come back.

I ve been going to Maria since I was a little kid. They are lovely, kind and they have such good food.

Great place to stop and eat. They are well known for their souvlaki which were cooked to perfection. The lamb ribs, salads and sides were also delicious. You must try if you run by.

The souvlaki were tasty and juicy. The potatoes are fresh and cut by hand. The tzatziki was excellent. Baked bread with oregano and dessert with alternative options make the difference. Highly recommend the place.

Excellent Greek restaurant with authentic food options which all taste great. It is half way between Thessaloniki and Halkidiki. Perfect stop on your way back to the city for a Greek meal. Enjoy!

The best souvlaki. Everything was so well cooked and tasted amazing and fresh. Very reasonable prices.

We stopped here for lunch on our way back home from our vacation. It was the place with the best souvlaki we had in Greece. Food was so good, I didn't even took a foto 😄 Service was excellent and very friendly. Too bad it was not closer to where we usually stay during vacation.

In so many places we eat during holidays, Marias was the best one! Proper greek food, delicious, fair price, friendly staff. And the dessert is just amazing! Maria was actually there, what an amazing lady!
