I've been scuba diving at Vista Park for over 6 years. This large Patch Reef is home to a lot of marine life. But the best reef is beyond this one. I've seen huge schools of tarpon here, green sea turtles, sergeant majors, angelfish, various types of crab, large coral heads and more here. If you swim past the patch reef, there's a nice size ledge where I've seen octopus.

Super quiet, quaint, beautiful beach at the northern end of Fort Lauderdale Beach. You will find colorful Adirondack chairs, an area to picnic, about 12 or 14 parking spaces, including handicapped, a bike rack, shower and a great reef for snorkeling and diving! Park is open from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM. Locals love this area as it is less crowded. No lifeguards here, so as I have mentioned before, do check the online Fort Lauderdale Beach conditions. Report comes out daily around 8:00 AM and will indicate what flags are flying. Remember, purple flag means marine life, such as stinging jellyfish, may be present. Green flags indicate ideal conditions; yellow flags signify caution is needed due to waves and currents; and red flags indicate rough and possibly dangerous conditions. Use the parking app as it is much easier, and you’ll receive reminders, as I do, as I tend to overstay!!! This is a wonderful section of the beach if you want peace and quiet. It’s also a swimmer’s dream! Enjoy!

This is a smaller beach perfect for when you want to avoid the larger crowds at the city beaches. These smaller park beaches also have smaller parking lots but since they are mainly used by people in the neighborhood I can usually snag a spot. You pay at the kiosk or by phone app. This park has a large open green area before the beach. It also has a shower, picnic area, and relaxing Adirondack chairs set up against the sea rock wall. There is no lifeguard or restrooms. These little beach parks, of which there are several in the area, are where you will find the locals, not the tourists. I like to come when I'm looking for a quick dip in the ocean. I like exploring these more secluded beaches for relaxation. Tucked away, they are hidden but you can easily see them on Google Maps.

About 10 parking spaces hard to get and they enforce payment of parking 7days a week ! As I was heading out.. the man drove in to enforce parking. Says $40 ticket ! Parking Is $1 each 15 mins ! But beach was nice. No pets...

Love this place...not only because it's right in my neighborhood, mostly because it's one of the most serenity places to relax in the area. It's a must visit!

Beautiful beach, clear waters, warm ocean. No shade so bring an umbrella, also no restrooms or change rooms. You have to pay for parking. There's little fish in the water that'll nibble on your toes if you stand still for too long, if you sit near the shore with your feet in the water you get to see them :)

My favorite beach park ever!!! from the moment you park, you see 6 colorful Adirondack chairs overlooking the beach and the showers. Then you walk forward and it’s always empty/dog friendly. Good kiting spot too!!

This is a hidden gem public access beach with a few parking spots that are easy to get in and out of. The waves can be extra strong out here. But that is not going to stop the little ones from jumping into the ocean. No public access bathrooms at this beach access. There is a water hose to rinse off your sandy feet.

We stumbled across this little park on our way back to our airbnb. It was super quiet with a few folks sitting around reading and enjoying the day. Easy access to the beach and a water fountain (??) To wash off afterwards. There's only a few parking spaces which make this spot feel exclusive. If I'm ever back in the area, I'll definitely be back.

It is a little gem but it's the size of a garden more than a park. It's just a quite area to access the beach and not on the beaten paths. Just a spot. Very pretty!

Awesome beach with lots of parking. But sea weed can be a problem at times and it can also get crowded. Tons of cool restaurants close by
