I really enjoyed my stay here! Everyone was very nice and friendly! The hotel is really beautiful and it’s wonderful that it’s right on the beach. Some of the people who work here that stood out to us are: Luis, James, Taylor, Elyssa, Franky, and Glen. Those are just the names I was able to make note of, but everyone was really kind with us! I love that they have live music so often by the beach and in the lounge. Loved getting breakfast in the morning at the little cafe! It’s a beautiful place that feels elegant but also laid back!

I love this place! Easy valet and help getting stuff to my room. Very quiet room! Loved my beach view and balcony. Beach was an easy walk downstairs and out the door. The beach restaurant was delicious and fast. The downstairs Cafe was very accommodating, I loved the breakfast burrito and the coffee. Great location! Will definitely return!

This place was amazing! The staff was so very friendly, nice & pleasant…always smiling! Even with the number of people, they could remember names & home states. Beach was well cared for & had someone setting up chairs & umbrellas. Even had beach food/drink delivery! Gorgeous view! Room was clean and very comfortable. A/C unit was a little noisy but tolerable.

Do yourself a favor and do not book a room here. We booked a room with “ocean views” just to have it blocked by a giant palm tree. After we went to bed we were woken up by what sounded like a Chuck E. Cheese party next door- mind you it’s midnight. These walls are paper thin so unless you want to pull an all nighter like you’re 20 years old be a guest and stay at the beachcomber “RESORT” We called the front desk and we were moved to another room, without the issue being addressed. This room was not a ocean front room with a king bed however it was going to be a room for some peace and quiet and good night sleep. WRONG. We walked into this musty humid room and quickly turned on the AC just to find it blowing out hot air… just when we thought it couldn’t get any worse, it did. We had two options sing along with the kids at 1 am or sleep in a room in the middle of summer with no working AC in south Florida. I am so disappointed. This place was highly recommended by our family who live in Pompano Beach and come here to have a nice weekend getaway. The only renovations is the front of the building and the lobby. The rooms are stuck in the 80s and clearly the air conditioning units are as well. This is not a resort nor is it a 3 or 4 star hotel. This is an over priced one star no sleep, wake up in sweat kind of motel.

This is one of my favorite resorts on the beach, private loungers hammocks and an amazing restaurant and cool little bar. The beach front is beautiful. Absolutely a must try.

We recently had a family reunion at the Beachcomber. The weather was rainy and very windy. We were scheduled to eat dinner at the beachfront restaurant but it was just to windy for us to be able to enjoy our meal. Mark, the manager, arranged for us to have our dinner in another area with pull down walls which was perfect! We had a wonderful time. Thank you Beachcomber! The rooms have been recently painted and are lovely. Can't wait to go back!

I left two items behind, and they've disappeared. No help from management nor if a struggle than customer service. The oceanfront rooms are good as long as you're on a high floor. Not all have a mini fridge for the price. Try not to get a room that has a door to another room because there's no insulation, and it sounds like the neighbor's are in your room when they are loudly communicating until after dark when your trying to chill. Pompano Beach is a great place to visit. I've been going to this resort since the 90s as I used to own a restaurant in Pompano Beach. Customer service is down, but the resort stepped up.

We really loved our stay here. Everyone was very nice and helpful. The hotel is really beautiful and it’s wonderful that it’s right on the beach. There were a few people who stood out to us like Chastity and all the Valets, but everyone was really great. There were two nice and clean pools and great ocean views. We also enjoyed the restaurant and bar by the ocean, and eating and drinking while listening to live music. They also had an area with some games like ping pong and bean bag toss. In addition, I loved getting breakfast in the morning and just lounging around. This resort feels premium and elegant and yet still very relaxed. It is a perfect fit for many life styles and was definitely an unexpected pleasure that received continuous praise from my family. I would highly recommend this hotel without a doubt.

Beds seem small. The espresso in the room is pointless and undrinkable. The pools and amenities are great. Location is awesome. The drink prices are great, excellent lattes and Pina colada. Claudia, who runs the poolside service, was amazing. She was running around and was providing excellent service. Would recommended

Stayed here this past weekend. The view was great and so was the room. The pool bartender Claudia was amazing, do not go to anyone else. The tall African American man who fixes the chairs in the morning is also wonderful, I did not get his name. Both of these workers went out of their way to make sure our days were as best as possible, I loved being around both of them so much. The service at the pool was fast, you were always asked what you needed and the place was very very clean. Also, hit the coffee station in the morning. Drinks are good and so are the workers. The only thing I would make note of when coming here is you will not be able to check in earlier or later than they say. My boyfriend had surgery a few weeks before and I asked if they could check us in earlier and they could not. I know our situation was out of the ordinary but it is something that people should know if they have a similar situation. They also tell me you can pay to extend your stay the day you leave, but the day of told me I could not. If you have any sort of personable accommodations you need from a hotel, I would not bank on this hotel. Overall, I would stay here again. You do not have to leave for meals or drinks and there is a story across the street that has little snacks and drinks if needed.

Love the Beachcomber! We have been going for 6 years every Feb. I prefer the old style but the new is nice. Some of the front desk staff terrific some need to be let go. Shannon is the absolute best, she really solves any problems and is So friendly and professional. We will always return we love it so much. Keep in mind it is so hard hiring staff so give them a break they all work really hard!!

The BEST hotel/resort. Really a resort!! EVERYONE is so kind and courteous! Special shout out to Amara at the front desk- she is the absolute sweetest and kindest!! Wait service at the beach and IN the pool. The entire resort has this amazing smell piped in and they sell candles in the scent!! Can’t recommend this resort enough! 10 out of 5!!

I am giving a single star for how nice the girls at the front desk were. Unfortunately, I was never able to check into this resort. My family and I were displaced because of dangerous black mold they found inside of the walls of our condo and we had less than 24 hours to evacuate our home. We spoke with their sales manager Jack to get information on monthly and weekly rates. I had expressed the need for us to get out immediately and because of the situation we weren’t sure if we needed a few weeks or a month. After several negotiations and him refusing to accept a credit card authorization from our landlord, I agreed to pay upfront for the week $1000 from my checking account for the week stay (not including deposit). I show up to the property on little to no sleep, two cars full of belongings, as well as a sleeping two year old after waiting 20 minutes in a line to check in I was turned away because I realized I had lost/left my wallet behind at our home (as we were rushing to leave). I told the gentleman that my husband was coming with it within the next 20 to 30 minutes but he just wouldn’t budge ..would not allow me to check into the hotel knowing that we had nowhere else to go and all of my items and 2 year old were sitting in the valet temp parking. He treated me very poorly as if my money and family had no value and embarrassed me in front of other guests and staff at the front desk. it was a horrible experience and probably the one of the worst experiences of my entire life . I walked away hysterically crying not believing how heartless this guy could be after taking my thousand dollars and making me wait probably a week to receive it back. If you do stay here make sure you book through reservations and not their sales department!

The Valets and Beach attendants were top-notch. The rooms were clean, and none of the housekeeping staff we met spoke English. The front desk had 1 pleasant person. The restaurant was average, and they didn't have ice tea. The coffee machines are terrible in the room. You don't even get a full cup of coffee, and they are difficult to operate. Won't return

All staff except front desk/manager were amazing. When I arrived in my wheelchair I was given a room with a large step to get in. They were told I was in a chair. Gave me another room but charged an extra 35$ a night. There should have been no charge. I did not ask for an accessible room because like alot of places these rooms are in the worst locations. As I can no longer walk on the beach I at least wanted to see it but accessible rooms are in the back! They were told I was in a chair. The manager walked away from us and left us standing at front desk waiting for a new room...this was after traveling all day and being exhausted. The rest of the staff was amazing and loved location

The hotel has been thoughtfully decorated and has a very high end feel. Our room has an ocean front balcony with zero gravity chairs and it is lovely in the mornings and evenings. The on site restaurant has a perfect happy hour area on the beach. Rooms are clean, staff is friendly. No complaints.

Our stay at Beachcomber in Pompano Beach was fantastic! The hotel's beauty captivated us, and we had an unforgettable time. The staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful. From the pristine rooms to the breathtaking views, it was a perfect getaway. We can't wait to return!

We spent a week here at the beachcomber on our honeymoon. This place is amazing!!! Located on the shoreline in Pompano Beach which is right where ya wanna be. The rooms are beautiful with balconies you can sit on and enjoy the ocean breeze, listen to the waves and just enjoy the beauty. The service is top notch friendly and accommodating. Rooms were cleaned daily, they had a gentleman serving beach goers with drinks and food. Service was amazing, great compliment to the beauty Florida has to offer. Highly recommend the Beachcomber to everyone not too expensive either, Get your toes in the sand ⛱️

We went to the restaurant on the beach. The view is amazing. The manager and service, however, is not. There are hammocks that flank both sides of the beach area. After ordering 2 rounds of drinks and a full meal, and having our kids play for an hour, the manager told us, in the rudest way, that our kids could not swing in the hammocks due to their “policy”. When tourists are not visiting this hotel, it is locals that keep it going. It’s a shame that a manager had to be so obnoxious and ruin an otherwise good experience. We will be visiting Beach House instead from here on out. I have scrolled down and read others complaining about this manager, an older, rude lady with glasses. It’s shocking this woman could be in management. She lacks clear customer service and communication skills. What a pity for this otherwise nice restaurant and hotel.

Our time was amazing, everyone was courteous and welcoming! We were greeted by the Valet crew, they were friendly and helpful!. The room was fully staffed with towels and enough pillows! The view was priceless. The Restaurant was amazing and the atmosphere was perfect for the occasion. The staff was friendly, warm and very nice , also super helpful with the menu choices! The food was delicious, everything was made fresh. Overall our stay there was unbelievable and super fun with the satisfaction that we will be back soon. Beachcomber Resort is a 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Resort! Everything was great! One minus, there is no restaurant inside the premises, where you can have a lunch and it would be cool. all restaurants on the street. we bought a day pass for going to the beach. There are no locker rooms where you can change clothes, you had to change clothes in the rest room. The staff is friendly. delicious cocktail aperol syringe.

The hotel is nice but it has a few stupid rules. First they give u a bracelet that if you lose it, it cost you $25 Self parking is across the street...parking lot not good. The chairs and umbrella that you paid a steep $37 resort fee for, are removed at 5pm(summer time 5pm you still have a strong sun)....stupid!!!. Removed and locked(with an actual padlock). At night the bar & restaurant closed at 10pm.....this is south florida vacation....at 10pm we are still sipping and enjoying the ocean breeze. The beach was horrible when we came, but that's not to be blamed on the hotel. Although I rather spend my money in another beach. Don't you dare trying to enjoy a nice cigar on the beach...not even by the fireplace...it got fire already but NO..you cant smoke here Sr.!!!. Although the hotel have a nice setting and customer svce was acceptably good. I'm not coming back here never again. There are too many other places that I rather spend my money on withess restrictions and more entertainment. Beachcomber it was nice meeting you, but goodbye forever.

We really enjoyed our time here at Beachcomber. Service was great and everyone was friendly. Easy access to the beach with umbrellas and chairs for guests. Valet was fast. Pompano pier was about a 15-20 minute walk. Great location!

Great spot if you're green and trying to get some tail. Massive Cuban anoles making sweet love for like an hour straight. They left a wet spot on the tree....kinda turned me on to be honest. The fries were cold.....five stars

The service and employees were phenomenal I was here for 2 nights and 3 days and had multiple employees who recognized me from each day which was quite nice. The food and bar were very quality I can honestly say my father (who is a native and has eaten conch his whole life) and I both felt their conch fritters were the best we ever had. The rooms were fine, but the hallway noise and ability to hear things that happened in other rooms was not pleasant. The bathrooms also did not feel up to snuff as a six foot man the toilets were an incredible hassle to use as they were so low to the ground. The setup in tubs also felt a bit out of date and honestly detracted from the room. It felt like they took old rooms and slapped a new coat of paint on it instead of updating them. That being said there is great food nearby as well as in the restaurant. The beach view was great and their pools and beachfront were lovely. A nice stay overall but with some issues in some of the comforts I feel matter.

A lovely place to stay. The decor is beautiful. Beach is easily accessible, pools are great. I left my bag in the room and they mailed it back to me promptly . The bar has a great happy hours and cool decor. The food was delicious in the outdoor restaurant

Loved our home away from home! Everyone we've met has come back numerous times, including us. We are booked for a not so future date! Only wish would be nicer bathrooms.

Highly highly recommend the Beachcomber to anyone looking to get married. This is an absolutely stunning venue! Lynn was beyond helpful and so accommodating for our entire party. She truly went above and beyond with all of my requests and was super attentive throughout the entire process. We had a very small intimate wedding on their beach and then a reception dinner at the tiki hut. Although it was a bit windy that day, we still had a magical day and couldn’t have been happier with how our vision came to life. Also, the suite that Lynn arranged for us is PERFECT for any bride or bridal party to get ready in. Our makeup/hair artists were blown away by how spacious the room was. Again, highly recommend!

Great pool and fun bar / happy hour and outdoor space. Rooms are a good size. However for the prices I’d expect a higher level of service. Their premium villas come with a kitchenette and no soap / sponge / or any supplies. No bathrobes or slippers. Room service is abhorrent. They don’t use a dust pan and actually sweep the trash out side the front door. I just checked in for my second stay here and both villas I’ve stayed in, 4 months apart, had gross trash outside front door (flossing picks, food crumbs, trash). Floors were so dirty our feet were black from walking around our first evening in the room. Hot water didn’t work, and they came to fix it but it still didn’t work. During my one week stay in a 2 bed premium villa, housekeeping came twice. If it weren’t for the location and proximity to family I would not stay here. Hoping for a better experience this time.

Great resort. Beautiful beach and lobby. Waitstaff and bartenders were excellent. Unfortunately had a bad encounter with woman at front desk. Very rude, rolling her eyes at us...Very unfriendly. Only blemish on a otherwise great weekend getaway. Customer service not her thing.

I didnt expect one day i will talk about it but i was surprised of the discrimination that happened to me i went there with my wife and my baby. First of all i requested an early check in and they said when i arrive it will be ready but they checked me in at 4:30 pm and i arrived at 12:00 pm. Second around 9:30 pm i requested a hot water to do the milk for my baby the front desk guy rejected to put the water in the microwave and was talking very rude to me then i went to the bar even when they were closed they helped me and provided me a hot water, because there was no microwave in my room and i have to pay 10$ per day to get one. There is only one lady in the front desk was really nice to help and answer my questions with smile. The place overall was not bad its nice for 1 day.

I highly recommend Beachcomber Resort & Club for anyone planning a wedding! Me and my husband (videographers) filmed a wedding there back in January 2021. We worked with Lynn and I remember being blown away at how beautiful the views were. Even though it was windy and cloudy, the day was so beautiful. All the staff were so friendly and the day went so smoothly. Oh! And the suite they put the bride in had a full balcony with space to do the first look on. It was perfect!!

The location is great. You get complimentary beach chairs and umbrellas The restaurant is very good and right on the ocean. The rooms are very spacious with a mini fridge and a balcony. We had a partial ocean view and it was great. Recommend!

Mixed review. Front desk staff probably some of the worst I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. Honestly once you get away from the lobby, the rest was amazing. Bar, especially Sam and her sidekick was great. They dealt with so many entitled and rude people on Mother's Day with grace. I watched how people treated them and was appalled. Everyone should have to work with the public. Might teach a few people on how to act and treat people.

The outside common areas are fantastic. There's a great bar and outside dining area. There are also cute little spots to hang out and relax. You do not have to pay for chairs on the beach and valet is only $5. The restaurant did a good breakfast - the croissant sandwich, potatoes, and Bloody Mary's were delish. The lunch was standard, nothing special. I think the rooms need to be updated and they need to have standard housekeeping everyday and not by request only. The balconies are lovely and have nice loungers.
