What a hidden gem for breakfast, brunch and lunch!! Our server Daniela was so kind and attentive, the service was amazing, the eggs benedict and steak we ordered was impeccable, the eggs benedict was the best i've ever had in my life, it tops manhattan dishes i've had and at an 11.99 price point you really can't beat it, they offer almond milk as an option for all of their coffee drinks, please do yourself a favor and stop by if you want to feel like a local! We just moved to the area so we will be regulars now! Easy parking and very safe area

Happy service ! Very Clean and organized restaurant.. We ordered Breakfast and it was amazing! Steak and eggs with homemade hash brown potatoes was worth $13.99 , biscuits and gravy was full order for $8.99 .. kids ate pancakes and French toast, very affordable! Coffer and Cafe con leche was so good, it's relaxing.. Will come back!!

American Coffee is a diner with a positive twist. The twist is that their coffee is Cafe Olay which is delicious and so much better than standard coffee. The omelets are also done very well and include some delicious cheese. This is a small diner so it can become crowded very quickly.

In a world where great customer service paired with amazing food is hard to find, this place defies all odds! My family and I had brunch here today and the food was outstanding! We tried the breakfast enchiladas that are new to the menu and they were delicious! The pancakes were tasty, and bacon was cooked perfectly. We got a cup of fruit, and it was FRESH FRUIT. A lot of places will serve canned fruit or fruit that isn’t ripe at all, but this was perfect. But the most important thing to take from this place is the SERVICE! Each and every staff member we encountered was friendly and went above and beyond for our family of 3. Our server was kind and tentative, and personable.

We read a review from a local on Facebook about this place. We tried it, loved it and have been back several times. Whatever you order is delicious and the staff is so kind and accomodating. I highly recommend the broccoli cheese soup and lobster bisque. So fresh, delicious and always home made!

I was in Fort Lauderdale for some business and I wanted to have some breakfast before my flight out of Miami. The American Coffee Shop was on my way there, and it came highly rated per Google. The restaurant is in a small strip mall and a bit smaller than I expected. There weren't any issues on a day I visited as the restaurant was maybe 50% filled. Parking isn't a problem. I ordered their Traditional Egg Breakfast # 2. I settled on two eggs, bacon, home fries and an English muffin. I chose a cafe con leche for my drink. The food was cooked to my liking. The potatoes were excellent, not over cooked, burnt or dry. I had never had a cafe con leche before, so I was also pleasantly surprised with its taste. I did add a small amount of sugar to it, but other than that it was good. The staff was pleasant, and I presume it was the owner that went to each patron to say hi and ask how their day was going. You don't see that too often, so it's a welcome change. I would re-visit if I'm ever back in the area.

Very friendly staff. I love the bacon egg and cheese sandwich on a bagel. They are serving dinner now on Fridays and Saturdays. So excited to try it out.

Friendly staff and good food. We came in and were able to sit down right away. The only negative was that there was a longer wait for the food than we anticipated. Overall, good place and would definitely go back. Bring patience when you visit.

American coffee shop is always packed for good reason. Family owned great service with reasonably priced food. We live closer to the beach so it's a little out of our way but when we remember, we make the trip! The staff is always so nice and friendly. Besides the food, the service also keeps us coming back!

This place deserves way more credit. I recommend the Cuban eggs Benedict. The food is great, very clean and the staff is amazing. Classic diner feel with a little Spanish spin. 10/10 recommend for a cheap nice breakfast/lunch or dinner (Friday and Saturday).

I love this place. Came here with my husband and I loved it. The spinach eggs Benedict is wonderful and the service is top notch. I mean it, these ladies are wonderful and so sweet. The owner seems like a nice guy. The atmosphere is like a diner but better . Tons of great options for breakfast that don't break the bank. I would just say the salad was a let down for the price . Didn't taste the most fresh and small portion for the price . Just skip the salad and get everything else. Again the service was incredible. I love the ladies there ! Good job ladies!

American Coffee Shop never disappoints, from omelets to sandwiches to the sautéed chicken and shrimp dish I had for lunch today the food is consistently delicious. Service is fast and friendly, most days you will see owner Nelson running around making sure customers are taken cafe of. Stop in and support this local small business, you will not be disappointed!!

It's just perfect. Local. Neighborhood. Friendly. Excellent food. Clean. Not greasy, with good-sized servings. Maybe for the price, add fresh parsley or cilantro to the presentation. 😉

The service was quick, and everyone was friendly. We were constantly asked if everything was good. If anything wasn't good, they were quick to fix it. Everything tasted good, and the price was reasonable. Great experience. All the staff and owners were wonderful.

I just want to say it is so refreshing to experience such amazing service and food every single time I come here to eat or even pick up food. It’s hard to find these days. I absolutely love this place! It’s so consistent every time. I went to pick up food today with my toddler and I am also 6 months pregnant and the nice young ladies offered to help me bring my food to my car because they saw my hands were full! That was the sweetest gesture. I can’t say enough amazing things about this place! I love it!!!

I was visiting from Austin, Texas and was looking for a local restaurant near the airport and came across this restaurant and I absolutely loved it! The food tasted very fresh and on top of it all the service was phenomenal. I was able to get to chat with the owner which made the experience even better! To get to see she is involved and really cared about our experience speaks highly on what she is building here. Highly recommend 👌

It would have been enough that the thick cut bacon complimented the American flag famously..... but the heat of the "mae hulk sauce" combined with the flavor packed kindness we experienced made this a must stop for any travelers who resist the urge to hit any kind of chain resteraunt while exploring local cuisine. The atmosphere and food is just awesome! Best Cuban coffee I've had in a long time! Food cooked perfectly to your liking every time! So glad to have found this place! For anyone in the area, this is a must go! They also offer delivery through door dash! Totally worth it!

I am from out of town and found this diamond hole in the wall breakfast spot. From the moment I entered the restaurant - the customer service was superb from beginning to end. I couldn't stop telling my family and friends about this place. The food was delicious. OJ was remarkable. I cannot wait to go back. Highly highly recommend!

1. Not for walk in customer oriented. Mobile orders have priority. The kitchen crew are very busy and with the phones and tablets on front to keep prepare the mobiles orders. 2. Waiting time to be seated 20 minutes and 20 minutes to ordered, 30!minutes to received the food. 3. The man in charge only walked around and rushed the only server to clean tables, take new orders for the walk in customers and make coffee. Unbelievable he payed all the attention to a lady with a very sexy dress and she received the order super fast compared to our order more than 45 minutes + 20 minutes waiting to order. 4. Guess what, after she brought the check, the man in charge take the payment and the tip. 5. Coffee shop? But when I asked about the ground coffee brand or country, they don’t know.

I highly recommend this place. The food is beyond good and delicious. I’ve tried many of their plates, but last time I tried their Cuban Benedict eggs and my day instantly become a great day, I can only describe them with one word: perfection. The service is great and the place is always very clean.

This is really a 4.5. the food is good. Eggs very fresh and soft. The customer service is even better. Its a fusion place with American and Cuban dishes. I love the fact they have a list of their beverages for newbies that are not familiar with Cuban coffee and the different combinations

I'm a regular at this place, these are some of the nicest, hospitable, and service friendly people you will ever meet on this planet. The cook is fantastic and every single employee there is like a best friend to you. 5 stars is an understatement for how amazing this place is. They know my exact order to the finest detail and even gave me a very heartwarming treat for my birthday.

This is top 3 of my favorite cafe/diners in the area. There's a heavy focus on Latin food which is great since it brings back memories of home cooked meals by my grandmother. The staff is all very very kind, attentive, and thorough. Some of the best service I've had in the area. The coffee is great. The food, I've had mostly Latin dishes have all been very good. Also it's so very affordable. Highly recommended.
