I’ve visited the Underground Coffeehaus in Fort Lauderdale twice. On both occasions, it was for live music events. I always hear from the attendees how great the tater tots are so during my second visit, I made it a goal to get some. It’s definitely the best loaded tater tots I have ever had. I enjoyed eating tater tots and watching the performances of Deshantin, No Traffik, Luxrem, and Galaxy Beat. The staff is super kind and friendly. Looking forward to going again! 💗

Although technically above ground, and by above I mean on the second story of the building, underground’s sports a cool original and strikingly independent take on a tea and coffee experience. The local Emo scene has made it their home but also some other great groups. In addition to complementary WiFi they have a great collection of fun books and some great coffee and tea creations at way lower than Starbucks price point. The meditation classes held here will no doubt help you find your center! #coffeehouse

Ok... This place is like "Alice in wonderland" cave, they have everything to inmerce in a magical world. The service is super, this guy look super dry jjjj however he's not, he is super warm and gentle. The place is on point for young people, they don't sell alcohol or cigarettes, instead they are plenty of books and tables to study, draw or write, your mind will blow if you are an art creator or just a regular social media surfer, this coffee hause is super quiet and very soft 😉 We got a Cold chai tea, hot Chai tea and a Late, all of them super tasty. The only concern is inmidiately you get inside the house you realize is an old construction by the smell, but a few minutes after you are confortable.

This is a well-established gem of Fort Lauderdale. They have regular events like comedy shows, bands, and art events. They are known for their loaded tots and sweet drinks. My personal favorite is the lemon-pepper tots, vegan friendly, of course. They also added a delicious vegan banana spice cookie that pairs well with an espresso. Go show some love and support this local business!

It was a fun experience finding this hidden coffee stop. The service was great and the coffee and food amazing. The vibes are very chilled and the mood is just right to spend the whole afternoon here. Bathroom was clean and I loved the outdoor terrace. Parking was free and the location easy to find. Recommend it!

Last of the bohemian venues-please don’t expect a mega Starbucks environment-or you will be disappointed. If you are appreciative of younger vibrant people discussing politics, watching movies and reading old used books among kooky lamps and old chairs you will love it. Reminds me of the old Greenwich village days. Friendly staff and great large coffees including decaf.

We stopped my in the middle of the day during the week and were the only ones there. Our drinks were very good and the service was good as well. There's a lot to look at and take in but it's really for a younger crowd I guess (I'm going on 50). I would have liked a better selection of books and games and maybe neaten' the place up a bit. Overall, an interesting stop.

Love the vibe of this place. If you're looking for a down to earth, simple, and cozy place to get some affordable coffee and treats look no further. Sitting here is like having a seat in your own living room with the added bonus of being helped by friendly staff. Kevin in particular is the coolest man here, his customer service is always above and beyond great not to mention he's a great dude overall

The Coffeehaus is one of my favorite spots in South Florida. Perfect place to go with a few friends and talk over a cup of coffee. Kevin is incredibly friendly and always accommodating. Highly recommend if you’re ever in the mood for a comfy place to relax and have a beverage.

First time here (although I've wanted to come by the last 15 years), loved it Great vibes, coffee really nice, comfortable chairs, like a living room, well 3 living rooms.

That's the type of coffee shop I like! I came here with a friend for a cup of coffee, but this environment almost forces you to stay longer. The place is also a book store and has individual tables to work a balcony and my preferred place, a comfy couch by the TV that was exhibiting "Young Frankenstein" and after that (yeah that's how long I stayed there) "spirited away." I can't wait now for an excuse to come back here, even if it is only to read a book of mine. My visit was around 5 pm; I believe they might get crowded later on the day.

I had been renting this venue to produce comedy shows for over 5 years and I never had an issue. The owner is really good, their staff is personable and they go above and beyond to help me to ensure the event is a success. I'm very happy that I met Aileen and look forward to continuing to do business with them in the future. I would definitely encourage you to contact them to rent the venue to run events.

One of my favorite coffee shops in Florida. Underground Coffeehaus feels like a comfortable home, but the artistic decor and plethora of books encourages you to get creative and have a good time! Kevin and Chad are awesome baristas. I live 30 minutes away but the drive is always worth it.

Fun upstairs hole in the wall coffee shop. Very vintage vibe, lots of places to sit, tons of games to borrow, good selection of well made coffees and the cookies/brownies looked good (didn't try them). Felt very at home, other patrons were all nice and we even chatted a bit. And on top of it all, free, ample parking. Worth the visit!

A little hidden secret in fort Lauderdale, we happen to walk in there by accident. Ended up having a great coffee and they had opened mic with live band! Amazing

Although I don't live in Florida, I visit about once a year to the Ft. Lauderdale area. This spot is always a stop for me. Such a chill, relaxing hangout. The baristas are always friendly. The iced coffee is always good. Definitely a cool, eclectic home-away-from-home vibe. Love it!

Came for a show & stayed for the environment. Absolutely chill place to get work done & meet new people. Highly recommend the Apple Cider 10/10

The service was okay. The coffee was a bit over priced for the area. The atmosphere, however is very relaxing and they sell really cool jewelry/etc...

Underground coffeehouse wow you have to go upstairs to get to it underground? This place is off the chain cool TV going with cartoons outdoor outdoor patio looks like it’s for smoking but not sure the vibe here was amazing got there about 7 o’clock only a few people on there and then it got very busy then emptied out a little bit and I wondered why they were having a comedy show in another room they do it a couple times a month I will be looking for it next time oh I forgot to mention the coffee that I had The grasshopper wow delicious

If you had a home library with funky vintage furniture you would be at Undergrounds. Nice and quiet, with books, board games and outlets for your computer. You can watch an old movie on the big screen TV. Multiple coffee and tea drinks hot or cold, great snacks and bakery items to munch on. Kevin and Joy are great drink makers and very nice.

Quaint romantic hideaway that feels like you're sitting in a living room surrounded by books. Great coffee and a very quiet and pleasant atmosphere. The peanut butter cup coffee was delicious -- not too sweet.

Really enjoyed my unscheduled stop in - can't wait to come back. If you like chill, indie spots this is for you. Note: no smoking, vaping, alcohol or substances.

Wonderful experience in a true privately owned Bohemian type coffee shop. The barista was very friendly and helpful. The coffee was great, and the pre-wrapped breads and cake were terrific. A wonderful "hole in the wall" experience.

Went to see some local bands playing a show. DIY vibes. Felt like a small little club. Cool spot to see a small show.
