If you are sensitive to sugar, I strongly recommend you to inform during the ordering process. They serve incredibly sugary coffee. Tables and seats are not clean.service is far below expectations.definitely won't be coming back

Wow! The coolest staff in the universe! Make sure to visit “Empathy” #theseed is a very cool 😎 place Great food, awesome coffee, and an incredible staff, fun and filled with energy. Great tables to work at with Wi-Fi. Has some outdoor seating. I could make this my office 5 Stars ⭐️ for The Seed!

More often than not, you find a place on Instagram with drool worth pics only to visit and find out the pics are literally just that, great pics but the food IRL is awful. I've been on so many of these abort mission immediately trips that I've become a serious skeptic. SMH. Well, we entered The Seed and noticed there was constantly a long line - good sign but this has fooled me in the past so the jury was still out. When we reached the counter to order, I shared with the representative that this was our first time visiting, and that I'd found them on Instagram annnndddddd that we had traveled from over an hour away with experimenting at their coffee shop in mind. The representative began to sing. No seriously, she literally sang a welcome to us and in broken chords, we sang right back that we were happy to be there! LOL The menu has so many options, (and I'm greedy) so I was having trouble narrowing down a selection but decided to with one of the holiday offerings. Ofter all, they're limited so might as well try them while their available. I remember seeing holiday drinks on their Instagram page but couldn't remember anything in particular so I made a selection but did a visual stroll of the menu just one last time......And there IT was. IT all caps was a Strawberry and Cream Matcha. Now, I've had A LOT of matcha, it's my thing. I've even met the exec at Starbucks that introduced matcha to Starbucks okay? But out came this vision of absolute bliss. No joke. I didn't even want to drink it, perfection in a glass. Two customers immediately asked us to take a sip and rate it for them! LOL Other customers began nudging each other to look at THAT. I was so excited but...the jury was still out. Taste above everything. Got to the car and WOWZERS, WOW-ZERS!!!!!! Luv, luv, luv IT! I had a full drink and I was already planning for my next one. How quickly could I take an hour plus trip to have this thing again? Could I have two in a single day? Wild thoughts! I WILL BE BACK! 5 star across the board visit!

I had a delightful time at this down-to-earth, homey, and good feels, coffee shop. The service is impeccable and the food was so tasty.

+1 star: The snacks and desserts are tasty and they have really good hot and cold beverages. +1 star: The atmosphere is hip and trendy, not super comfy, but good for a shop like this. +1 star: Even though the oven was closed, they still made an accommodation for me. -1 star: The staff is polite, but that said, do not come here 30 min before closing or their ovens will be off. Also, the service takes a tiny dive, as they seem to be more preoccupied with closing at 5pm. You can FEEL that they just want to close up, even though it's not time yet, and you're a customer. -1 star: We were sitting outside and waiting for our order (like at the other seed shop) and they never came out, so my wife went to check and make sure our order was ready, and it was there waiting for us. Hence I dropped another star. All things considered, I'd give this place another try at a better time, but I literally rated the seed at Lighthouse Point at 5 stars all the way across, so why risk the drive and the money if I know the other place is super great?

Incredible atmosphere. Food was great. Ordered 2 different vegan loafs and some vegan spinach and artichoke pastries which were all very tasty. Both whole milk and oat milk lattes were well done. The cashier seemed annoyed at my large order, which was the only downside to my experience. Remaining staff were great.

Surprisingly good! Laid back ambience. We can work or meet people and you will not be disturbed even though they are too busy. Tons of people are in out shows how good and famous they are. Tried their special/ cold brew of the day and it was delicious as expected, slightly disappointed with the big chunks of chocolates and dates in the drink. Overall, great experience

I’ve become less and less impressed with this place. Yes the coffee IS good. However the smoothies are awful. I’ve gotten two here (the posty and drop it like it’s hot) and they’ve both tasted like bland ice with banana. The part that gives this place three stars is the service. It’s painfully slow. I waited 30 minutes with 3 other people ahead of me for a smoothie. If you’re looking for a quick in and out I do not recommend this spot. It does have a nice atmosphere if you’re looking for a quiet work/study spot.

Contemporary and needed in Boca Raton. I had the vegan coconut cake and a latte and both were delightful. I will be going there again.

I didn’t have any complaints, I just kind of thought it was average though. Coffee was decent, prices were fair, food was decent. Just nothing that stood out to men all though I’m kind of spoiled with great coffee shops up north

Horrible service, came here with friends first time and ordered coffee and some desserts and were waiting for it 40 minutes because it’s self help cafe(We didn’t know about it) and staff even didn’t tell us the order is ready and our order is on the bar for 40 minutes , of course the coffee and desserts was cold , coffee and desserts was not good , will not recommend to anyone

One of the best coffee shops I’ve been to with quality materials & high quality food. The interior is nice as well. I’d love to have a seat inside and enjoy with a friend or spouse. I’d be a very frequent customer if I lived closer. Staff is always friendly. Well-deserved 5 stars

A nice hidden gem. A little pricey, but worth it. The fruit was fresh and delicious. The oat milk latte was spot on. There’s a nice outdoor area to the right of the building that I missed the first time I came here. Staff were great, too!

Great coffee, cool space but proceed with caution as even though they are only doing takeout now, the employees (and many of their customers) do not wear facemasks.

Hi!!! I’m so excited to leave this review. It’s my first one and I’ve chosen to become the person who reviews places now because this place was soooo good and everyone gets to know!!! They make the vanilla and lavender flavors in house and I tried the vanilla and it’s not too sweet, just a good flavor!!! I also had the açaí bowl which was pretty good too but the winner of them all is the VEGAN spinach and artichoke empanada. I’ve never had an empanada quite this delicious before and it’s VEGAN! Just really? Wow. I’m clapping it up for this plan! Enjoy!!! And thank you, Seed! Great, kind and helpful employees too!!! :-)

I went in yesterday for my first time. Really cute spot right next to my gym which is a plus! The OG blueberry shake was absolutely delicious! I would really love it if there was gluten free avocado toast available, maybe like power bowls with egg and avocados too. After a great workout I love having a good protein breakfast, I bet our gym next door would love if there was more fuel food. I will definitely be back to try acaii bowls!

I finally found it. A place in Florida that makes a solid Mocha, repetitively! They have counter culture beans, and a few solid barista’s one of which will win competitions some day. She is both consistent in her process and puts her heart into it. She actually Loves making people happy by giving them a great coffee experience. I have been in several hundred coffee shops all over the world. Each with its unique process. While Intelligentsia in Chicago still makes the best coffee and the Kaldi’s in Demun in St.Louis holds my heart for amazing coffee while looking up at the cathedral on the hill, this place is a respite in an otherwise unsettled world. ( spring of 2020) It’s 2020 chill with simple home seating and a bit of a barn style flair with pallet wood and deep contrasts and colors. They kept it simple. The bathroom is a bit awkward but workable. The outside sweating is decent enough. The fact that they are open for business during these times in a safe manner to assist those who have grown to love there coffee is a grace of God. Out of the many many coffee shops I have tried in Florida. This one gets top nod for consistent quality coffee. The manager is a nice guy and the staff has always been polite. All in all, one of my favorite coffee shops. *side note for spiritual vegans, they have tasty stuff, but these vegan products are made next to a pork product. They don’t claim kosher, but buying vegan means I want to avoid meat energy and if they were made by the same person on the same equipment and are sold right next to each other it’s safer to not buy. Not everyone is as energetically sensitive as I am, so please use your discernment.

Calming ambience with farmhouse decor. I tried their mushroom coffee, loved it. Staff is friendly. They have interesting seating arrangements more geared towards folks who wanna bring their laptops and work. They have a cute little nook as well for small group hangouts. Overall cute little cafe very close to the beach

I had the most amazing experience in this place. The girl that took my order was super sweet and helped me get exactly what I wanted. The young gentleman that made it came out and brought it to me and made sure it was d a fly how I liked it. It was the best coffee protein smoothly I have ever had. So delicious. I will certainly be back.

I have been going to The Seed in Boca since they opened 8 years ago. I live back and forth from LA to Boca and this is by far the best coffee shop that I have been to in South Florida. It has a very welcoming atmosphere and the majority of the staff is great and friendly. I am a regular and they normally have my order waiting by the time its my turn at the register. I have had the pleasure of meeting the owner and she is a lovely person and her sister is a riot! Good local community people. The Seed is a must try!!

  • 5/5 Michael A. 9 months ago on Google
My favorite coffee shop continues to grow! Not only are the baristas getting better and better, but they have more baked items and new healthy options including chia pudding, yogurt parfait, and overnight oats. The staff continues to provide high quality, consistent, fast, and most importantly, excellent customer service at every location. Oh, and their açaí bowls (especially the Pineapple Vibes and That Drizzle Fo Shizzle) and fresh juices are second to none in Palm Beach County. Must try.

Is nothing sacred? The Seed used to be so great. Two changes - I don't know why - there is now, often, truly horrible hard rock music, played very loudly, almost deafening. I don't know who could like this. Second, the default milk is now 2% which leads to bitter coffees with little smoothness. Sometimes this is mentioned and one might request whole milk - but sometimes not. A bad change. Finally the food - at least the quiches & croissant breakfast sandwiches - are not good; they need a different provider. Very nice staff & service. Except for the music sadist

Very disappointed that the woman that made my coffee, whom I believe is an owner was the only person not wearing a mask. Unfortunate that she is so inconsiderate of the people supporting her business. Their coffee may be better than Starbucks but what really matters. Try to support local?!

As you know I am lover of coffee. I believe that a cup of coffee make my day. So when tasted coffee in this place it's not only make me full of energy as well as recharge my soul too 😊 . I feel the taste rest of my day. The staff is also very efficient in thier duties and very friendly environment. It's a perfect place to have a cup of coffee with friends and family members . Very peaceful environment. Highly recommend

The seed is on par with any Starbucks. The place is full of students working their laptops and reading so a table I hard to get since they camp out all day. The employees are also students so getting any recommendations or details on the coffee is impossible. The coffee is good but not amazing as other reviewers have stated. It's an OK place but any other coffee shop would be just fine.
